This hotel charged me for a cancellation that was within the cancellation window and according to the policy. I had tried to modify a 2 night reservation to an 8 night reservation but couldn't, so I cancelled it and booked a new reservation. They charged me for the cancelled reservation and the new one. I sought help from Bonvoy to get a refund and they first submitted it to the wrong hotel somewhere in Georgia. So I had to open a new case again. They decided they would not refund it but never notified me. So I called again and found out and asked them to prove it but they couldn't and then the lady hung up on me. I still have not received any follow up, any proof, or any effort whatsoever to help me. Bonvoy says it all up to the hotel. I called the hotel directly and they said it was all up to Bonvoy. So they stole $255 from a mom trying to take her teens on their first real vacation. read more

Never again! the pillows disappeared when you placed your head on them. the beds were so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep more than 30 min at a time before waking up in pain. after a shower the floor was soaked because they don't have normal shower curtains. the jacuzzi was cold and when asked to warm it up the front desk said it was out of their hands and that maintenance would be here monday when we were leaving. we didn't know if the fridge actually was working or not, luckily it was. oh and the floor in the elevator was filthy literally the whole time. We also made sure to wear shoes at all times in the room. we didn't feel comfortable without them. over all this experience was so very disappointing especially being our first experience in the state of Utah. read more

Speaking of buffet, it was a good combination of hearty and relatively healthy choices with eggs, bacon, sausage and oatmeal on the hot side, and cereal, bagels, yogurt, fruit and juices on the cold side. The room was very clean and comfortable with fully working shower and toilet in a large bathroom! I gave a lower rating on the location and walk rating as it's not very near to anything within walking distance for those who come in for business without renting a car. There's a grocery store across the street and some fast food places, along with a Mexican restaurant (Milagros) which had some rough reviews. If you have a car, it is nicely located fright off the interstate to get you anywhere. Highly recommended for the staff and room! Location would be dependent on what you plan to do. read more

Booked only one night, and it was the worst. We stayed in a room where swamp cooler stunk, and we got congested. But the worst part is that the hotel housed a bunch of guests that were rude to my daughter and I. Their kids talking about teens and probably older boys only in the swimming pool yelled explicit, vulgar, sexes comments at us. When I addressed it with the front desk, she pointed out the parents who were lounging in the open public area for me to go address their spoiled, privileged, shamless kids. As a guest at a reputable hotel like this, allowing such behaviors towards their other guests is unacceptable. read more

Picture perfect until you delve further. A hit and miss property. On the hit side: super comfy beds, easy check in and out, fantastic breakfast, beautifully appointed common areas and rooms, extensive fitness area, convenient freeway access, ample parking, and friendly staff. We called from the road about an hour and a half away on a Thursday evening in late August. Room was available and would be $204 plus tax and non-refundable. OK, more than we wanted to pay, but were tired and it was getting late. Utah streets have names but they don't use them so it's always confusing to find 1000 N or 2000 E, hubby spotted sign after we exited and we made our way to hotel. Check in a breeze. First impressions, clean and upscale tasteful. First negative, toilet seats super low to the ground. As one gets older this is a consideration. Second negative, shower/tub floor very slippery. Third negative only one plastic cup and one coffee cup and two coffee pods (one decaf and one regular), but it was a Keurig. Micro mini closet, but didn't bother us. Nice big TV, but no guide. Clock really fancy with blue tooth and other stuff I didn't understand, but not plugged in and couldn't move table to fix. Beds awesomely comfortable, we even noted the manufacturer as we are in the market. Lots of outlets, but couldn't get wi-fi to work on my computer. Too late at night to try and fix. Morning - hoping to hit the road shortly after 6 am but breakfast isn't until 6:30 weekdays and 7 on weekends. Saving money by hoping people won't eat before they leave? Used computer in lobby and it froze on me and there was a lovely selection of pens and office materials, but no paper. Front desk clerk was also breakfast guy so guests would stop by desk and I'd explain that he was otherwise occupied, at one point I even went into the kitchen get him for someone who wanted to check out. The gal showed up and started filling tea, but apparently, he was in charge in breakfast. BTW he could use a haircut, pony tail would do a horse proud. The breakfast was beautiful and pretty tasty once it came. Agave syrup, cut melon, fresh strawberries, three kinds of yogurt, pork and turkey sausage, host of breads, lots of oatmeal toppings, but no good toasting bread and the scrambled eggs were dry, toaster took forever and by the time we left the waffles were still not ready. Final total on night $234 and change. I would expect more for this price point Checked this morning and could get for two king beds vs two queens that we had for $103 on Expedia. Also no AAA or senior discounts offered. Woe to the traveller who calls the hotel directly. read more

I was here for 3 nights doing some training with a new company and I have to say, I truly enjoyed my stay. Hannah was the clerk on duty when I checked in and she was truly delightful. Very helpful. She pointed out several places I could get dinner. Later in the evening when I was having an issue in my room she quickly sent a maintenance person to help me. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name but he did a great job as well. The room itself was very clean and well laid out. The mattress was very comfortable. I wish I could have brought it home. The bathroom is beautiful. Huge shower. The only thing I might recommend for the hotel, to avoid a potential falling issue, is either a rubber mat in the shower or some sort of applique on the shower floor because it is a little slippery when it is wet. The bath towel was one of those big fluffy kinds that everyone enjoys. The hand towels and washcloths were not as high quality but were useable. I had read other reviews about the breakfast being sub-par but I found it adequate overall. There is a problem with the waffles though. They need to either use a different batter or refine the recipe. They were a little nasty. I noticed other people who couldn't eat them as well. Not much to recommend about the area it's in. There's a grocery store and a few restaurants in walking distance, but nothing else. If you have a car it would be much more convenient. I wish to thank all the staff and management for making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. read more

Beautiful hotel, wonderful service. Someone commented the continental breakfast didn't have many options. They must have listened because now they have 8 bread items, yogurts, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cut fruit, usually whole fruit, 3 choices of milk, 3 choices of juice, waffles, and warm food- we've had various options this week- scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, etc. I've been completely impressed. One complaint, but not enough to take a star away, the ice maker down the hallway sounds like an earthquake. I should mention this to management if I remember. Clearly it wasn't big enough to get me downstairs to tell them (or to pick up the phone). One of the nicest (non boutique) city, along the freeway hotels around! Pools are crystal clean. Workout room was absolutely spotless. I felt bad sweating in it, but did so, happily, anyway. Definitely a place to recommend to travelers or others coming to the area on business. read more

I want to give them negative stars but it won't allow me too. We have been here since Tuesday and housekeeping has been horrible! We have 2 rooms and are paying over $170 a night for each room. Carpets haven't been vacuumed since we arrived... bathroom has only received new towels and I'm scared to think they just refolded them and put them back. Today a dirty towel was left on one of our beds. The pull out couch has never been attended too... The second night I asked for bedding for the couch and the front desk lady told me they were out. Ummm... I need sheets and a blanket at least for my kid. She never issued a pillow. I have left $20 every day for the cleaning staff as I know their job is not the most fun BUT my gosh... can you at least do the minimum!!! And... since we have been here so long today is supposed to be as if we were just checking in with fresh linens and the pull out couch put away and everything back in its place! Today was the worst cleaning ever and mind you we were gone ALL day... came back at 5pm and it wasn't done so we left so they could attend to it and this is what we came back too! I had my doubts about this hotel when we checked in and the staff told me to stay somewhere else next time I travel with my service dog because they don't accept pets . . . And it didn't get better from there. This hotel is so much less than expected. Covod has created an opportunity for pure laziness apparently. The mattress covers and sheets and blankets don't fit the beds at all! Like staff had to rip them to get them on and the minute you lay down they come off the mattress. Also no housekeeping at all so no trash removal. And it's not like they provided bigger trash cans or trash bags or outside the door trash pick up to compensate. Apparently once a week is the housekeeping standard now. Seriously, this hotel is so very disappointing, skip it and stay somewhere friendlier and that pays attention to the details! read more

A nice hotel to stay over night. Let's start with the good: love the customer service here. Very friendly and hospitable. The hotel is feels new and modern with a nice lobby, gym and inside pool. Breakfast is traditional Marriott feel and even Canadian bacon that I like. The room had everything you needed with fridge, microwave and even a Keurig much better over most Marriotts. I wouldn't say there was bad thing except for a few minor touch ups. Bathroom light was maybe rusty or very dirty, drain needed soap scum off and drawer kept opening and would not stay closed. I really hope this gets to the right people. I made a horrific mistake and left my bags by the breakfast table. I drove several hours away before I realized it. I was carrying a bank bag with a lot of financial notes in it and stupid me left it right in the open. The person who took care of the breakfast found the bag and turned it in. Amanda at the front desk kept it safe and got ahold of me to make sure I knew it was there. I arranged to have the bag picked up and all contents were safe. The hotel was nice, the staff was great, the room was very comfortable and clean, and they saved me a ton of heartache. I can't say good enough things about Amanda and the the breakfast staff. This is a new hotel in Provo. The staff is great and absolutely everything is new. Parking and breakfast are complimentary. As a Marriott associate we had a great rate and we are more than pleased. The bed was wonderful to sleep in and business is low in this town so the breakfast buffet is like a private breakfast extravaganza. This property is 40 minutes away from the airport but for the quality and rate we do not mind since we would end up paying 3 times more closer to the airport. Strongly recommend this property. I have been choosing to stay with the Marriott hotel chain for the past year for all of my business travel. I have never had a complaint, and I have never been so disgusted and appalled after staying at your one of your chains. When I checked in to my room late evening on 9/27, I was told that I was being "upgraded" to a queen suite. I had two queen beds all to myself. When I went to one of the beds to lay down, I turned over the sheet and to my surprise there was a strangers hair right on the bed. I was grossed out and decided to just ignore the issue, so I went to the other bed and turned over the sheet to find another gross long hair in the bed. I was disgusted and immediately called the front desk and explained the situation. I spoke to Laura, and she asked if I just wanted new sheet or if I wanted someone to make the bed... I requested for someone to make the bed with fresh sheets. She immediately came to my room and remade one of the beds with new sheets. When Laura left my room, I went over to the bed and again found a hair on the bed!! I was furious and decided to just lay my clothes down and using them as sheets because I knew I wasn't getting the issue resolved. I chose this particular hotel because it says on your website that's it a new hotel. There were also stains on the couch from a previous guest... didn't seem like a new hotel at all! Laura, from front desk, wrote me a letter apologizing for the incident and offered to give me an additional 500 Marriott points. I honestly don't think this is even close to being enough for the bad experience I went through! This happened in two beds and after the hotel thought the issue was fixed another hair was in the sheets. Next time that I need to book a hotel, I will think twice about staying at a Marriott. read more
