Staff is very friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay seamless! The only negative we experienced was that we requested housekeeping once during our stay and were disappointed with the cleanliness of our room when we returned, but no complaints during our initial arrival, the room was well maintained and beautiful! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that is amazing, from the food to the staff it's all around fantastic!! The breakfast is great with a wide variety of options and helpful staff that work non stop to ensure the food is fresh and the space is sanitary. I will stay here in the future.​ read more

Not the best experience. First, I want to say front desk folks were awesome!!!! Thank you folks for everything!!! Room cleaning services were NON EXISTENT. I stayed a full week and not once did the come by and do anything. I had to ask one day if the could please refresh my room. I guess that ticked off house cleaning as they took all the shower supplies, and did not restock anything in my room. I had to go downstairs to get toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Ridiculous! Seriously what the hell was their problem?!?!? They seemed to have no problem refreshing everyone's rooms around mine. Super rude and obnoxious. I will never stay at this hotel again due to house keeping's non existence service. Also this hotel STRUGGLES with hot water for your shower. Some days it was just cold, other days lukewarm. Best laid plans don't always work. This is a real busy location, I originally booked for a double bedded room, but what was available was a disabled room or a regular king/single bedded room, oh well I tried. Due to lack of finding workers, you know it, no room housekeeping. The carpets in the room was a darker shade, but even then you could tell, it was in dire need of a good steam cleaning, hell I would settle for a good vacuuming. The hotel just needs some refurbishment done to the rooms, no one wants to see darkened water spots along the top of a shower. If I could give a zero review, I would. This hotel towed our vehicle (even though we were guests staying there multiple nights) without warning and without remorse. we had to pay $393 to get our car back, and they blamed us-saying we needed a parking pass that they never gave us or knew we needed. Do NOT stay here. They do not take care of their guests. If you got food poisoning there, they would probably blame that on the guests too. I am disgusted with this establishment. read more

Stayed here for three nights while up for a graduation. You can see Brigham Young's stadium from the hotel window. Our room was a suite, had two T.V.s, one in the living room/desk area, and one in the bedroom. This is a good place for families. There are two couches that have pull out beds. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room. The only thing that didn't work well was the shower handle was broken and it was really difficult to turn the hot water on. The room was o.k. clean, looks like new carpet. There were weird stains splattered on the wallpaper, and apparently a leaky fridge caused some damage where the refrigerator is located. There is some cracked and peeling paint in the bathroom. They don't clean your room unless you ask. Our room didn't have Kleenex or shampoo, so I had to get some from the front desk. They do serve a daily breakfast until 8:30 a.m. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, omelettes, waffles, sausage, and fruit available. Also hot water,coffee, & juice. For our one night stay, this hotel was okay. We checked in after 4pm, proceeded to our room. It had not been cleaned. We schlepped our belongings back downstairs and told the front desk about the room. Since we had to leave for a 5pm appointment, we left and crossed our fingers our ADA room would be ready upon our return. Four hours later, we went back to our assigned room, which had been duly cleaned. I was a little disappointed with the ADA accommodation, the sink area was a little difficult to approach, the bench in the tub was set back, therefore was not quite able to reach the fixtures or shower head. Park at your own risk. Stayed here about 6 weeks ago and was issued a parking pass. Checked in this time and wasn't issued a parking pass. I asked specifically to be given a parking pass, and they said they had done away with the parking pass. Apparently I parked too close to Springhill Suites (there are no signs anywhere stating which spots are for which hotel) as all of the lot at Best Western was full, due to BYU fans parking and walking to the game. My car was towed and the bill was $400. Hoping a manager will help remedy the problem, so far no one willing or able to help. Also the room smells of mildew, the room and bathroom were not clean (hairball in shower, large chunks of food on the floor by the nightstand), and you have to use all of your body weight to shove up against the bathroom door to close it. The breakfast was quite good. I have had better and much worse. The maintenance in the hotel is shockingly deplorable. I have seen stained carpets before, but not on every floor. The stains, however, are not a hazard like loose carpet tiles and stair tred nose trim. We were on the second floor and took the stairs rather than the elevator. There were multiple steps where the bullnose trim had pulled loose and was stapled (with a desk stapler) to the carpet rather than being secured properly. several carpet tiles were curling up and loose (significant tripping hazard). Other carpet tiles were stapled together... with a desk stapler, rather than being glued down properly. Saw the same thing on other floors. The desk clerk laughed it off while acknowledging the situation when I mentioned it to her. Our bedroom was "cleaned" twice while we were there. This didn't stop me from finding a soiled black lace thong under the bed. I reported that the towel rack by the sink had pulled loose and was dangling. in the 11 nights that we were there, nobody came to repair it. What is Best Western doing with the money they take in????? Fat corporate executives sucking the blood out of the corporation? Wish I could post my pictures. read more

This place is a dump. I'm not sure when the last time was that corporate did an inspection, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was disciplinary action. It is generally dirty. The lobby and our room weren't too dirty but everything else was gross. Carpets are stained, bubbled up, and frayed. Air conditioning in our room was not working well at all. Workout area was missing a lot of the dumbells and AC was broken in there as well, so at least nobody else was using it. The breakfast eggs were... not actually eggs. Pillows were terrible. We booked this hotel for three nights for a weekend college football game. We chose this due to its close walking distance to Edward Lavell Stadium at BYU. It was booked through Hotels.com and once again, we were given a handicapped equipped room. I am beginning to think Hotels.com automatically books you for the worst room. There were two pros. One was there was always pretty fresh coffee in the lobby and two, the staff was pretty friendly. The cons unfortunately are a little longer. Starting off, handicapped room aside, the air conditioner in the room made such an alarming clank every time it kicked on at night, it woke us up literally every 15 minutes. It was so bad my wife went to the front desk at 2am and asked for another room. No luck, they said they were fully booked. In addition to that, the room had a foul smell when we arrived. Throughout our stay, no one came to look at the A/C so we were essentially forced to buy some ear plugs and use those at night to get any sleep. Not cool. Secondly, even though we hung the "make up my room" sign every day, no one ever cleaned our room, refreshed our towels, or made our bed. I had to go to the front desk to get bedding for the pull out sofa bed for my daughter, and had to "acquire" some fresh towels from the housekeeper's cart. Thirdly, the common areas we all pretty dirty. The chairs in the breakfast area were all "syrup" stained and don't look like they were frequently wiped down. Further, being a considerate husband, when I had to use the bathroom for #2, I generally used the lobby bathroom. There were two bathrooms, one In the lobby, and one in the area outside of the workout/pool area. Both areas toilets were filthy and never cleaned. There was the same dried on poop stains in the bowl on day 3 that were there on day 1. One bathroom ran out of paper towels, and another toilet looked and smelled like something died in it. I have been in much cleaner truck stop or convenience store bathrooms. The breakfast in the morning was basically tolerable for subsistence only. Don't go looking for much more than a source of calories. It was pretty standard with many other lower budget hotel breakfasts. Lastly, the price was high enough that at the cost we paid, one would expect a full working room, maid service, and a clean environment. As noted above, it failed to meet the basics. One star is for the convenient location to the stadium. One star is for the friendly staff. This place loses three stars for price, cleanliness, housekeeping, odor, and malfunctioning equipment. read more

We stayed at this location for three nights. Toward the end of our stay, a dangerously sharp bathroom door latch ripped my nearly new coat. The assistant manager was unable to do anything to alleviate the situation and referred us to the general manager. I called him and he vehemently denied that there was anything wrong with the door latch. (Check out the photo and blow it up to see how sharp it is and how much it's jutting out). BAD: the carpet in the room is filthy and absolutely needs to be steam cleaned, the breakfast is always the same with the eggs varying from scrambled or a horrible cheese omelet, twice room service forgot our requests for room cleaning (must be requested), the TV system was being updated but they forgot to update our room TV so we did without TV for a week (repeated requests for fixing it were ignored). I cannot recommend this hotel. When I arrived, there was a long line of people waiting to check in. One employee was checking them in and 2 other employees (standing next to her) could have been helping, but were not. I reserved a 2 queen room, but once I got to my room, I saw it was a 1 king room, and had to go back downstairs and request the correct room. My new room was gross. The toilet was full of mold. How could that much mold accumulate in a toilet that is being cleaned on a regular basis?! The tub was half full of water and the shower faucet was leaking non stop. If I hadn't checked in, they would have had an overflowing tub in a day or so! The shower fixture was moldy and there were brown stains on the inside of the shower curtain. There were bloody stains on the window curtains and lots of fingerprints all over the window glass. The air conditioner needed to be fixed. It was not working properly and had to be running at the highest setting nonstop to keep the room cool. But worst of all, it was so loud it woke me up all night! After putting up with the room for 2 nights, I called down to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room. The employee said she would call me back within 15 minutes. She never did, so I packed up my luggage and checked out early. Is anyone managing this hotel?! I will not be back. read more

Cleaning lady shows up again as I'm gathering my things I let her know we just needed to grab my things she then says "ok well we need to clean so we're just going to come in and clean" ummm what?! I told her no I needed to shut the door or my 1 yr old would get out and it would just make things worse. Then she proceeded to talk about me in Spanish to the other lady (this is the head cleaning lady) i then told her in Spanish "don't get mad lady I'm getting my things and I was picking up all our crumbs and trash" and I closed the door and left shortly after but wow I wasted my money I should have just went to a cheaper motel if I was going to be experiencing all this nonsense. I'd also like to add that housekeeping doesn't knock! They just come on in! The toilet was hard water stained, the water is low pressure, and the towel bar was coming off the wall. Our room always smelled musty. So we started out by arriving early about 1230 and the front desk clerk was nice enough to let us check in. The room was decent there were stains all over the carpet's we had only two towels when it was time to take a shower luckily my son brought his old towel there were a total of three of us in the room. The first night no big deal the following morning the two towels were used and so we asked housekeeping if they could make sure we got fresh towels because we were going to be gone for the whole day wanted to come back until the shower. We got back earlier this afternoon about four or five after being gone all day we asked for the towels again and they said they didn't have any available we could check back later so we left the property again and came back at 11 o'clock at night at which time we met the same front desk clerk (Rob), so I asked Rob if we could please get some fresh towels and he said well I don't have any at the moment. I says well we've been waiting all day for these fresh towels all day and I want to take a shower. His response was well I don't know what to tell you because we don't have any towels we gave them out to the swimming pool because the pool didn't have any towels. I says well that's just unacceptable I need to take a shower I need some towels and he asked what do you want me to do I mean if you want I can see if some are available later I says well it's already 11 o'clock and then he said you need to watch your tone if you want me to help you and I said excuse me there's nothing wrong with my tone. I'm getting a little irritated because I feel like he's just being lazy and didn't want to wash the towels and fold them up so then he says well give me a chance let me go down and check if there are any towels ready and he came back and made it sound like he did me a favor oh we've got some towels they're done now when I felt the towels they were not warm as if they came out of the dryer they were cold and so he says I guess you want me to fold them I said that would be nice so he went in the back office and took another five minutes to fold four towels and came back in and handed them to me is there anything I said no but what is your name anyways and he with a smirk said oh it's Rob how effing annoying is that everything was just fine until my interaction with Rob in regards to the towels that they did not have available all day long I mean really do they need to purchase more towels this is ridiculous I've never even experienced anything like this before I am going to grade them at two because of Rob's effing attitude! One star because I would never stay here again. This hotel used to be quite good, but it has fallen on hard times. I arrived an hour before the 3 p.m. check-in time and was told I would be charged $25 if I wanted to get into the room that was already ready to occupy. At other hotels I've stayed at there is no charge if you happen to show up a bit early and the room is ready. The toilet would not flush well and filled up the bowl, I assume because the previous occupant put something down the toilet that clogged it. When I informed the front desk and asked that they send someone to use a plunger, I was given a plunger to do it myself, and then told to set it outside my door when I was finished with it so housekeeping could take it. Housekeeping never took it, so I eventually set it beside the elevator. (At least it was in a plastic bag.) Staff at the desk was nice, and the breakfast is consistent with what you find these days at hotels that offer breakfast (though cold cereal was missing one of the three days of my stay). The rooms need a bit of sprucing up and some repair. Others in my group that stayed there (and had stayed there in the past) came to the same conclusion: this hotel is not what it once was. If you need to be at this location, there is a Marriott right next door. read more

There are stains galore but even more gross is all the food. Popcorn, chocolate etc. does anyone ever vacuum? When we checked in late (4:00 pm) there was food left in containers from breakfast. I'm not sure what it is but I know I won't be eating there in the morning. That's gross and unsanitary. There is so much dust and grossness built up in the corners. The closet doors are filthy. Food and drink spilled on it. If it wasn't so late and I didn't need to be somewhere soon I would have checked out or at least asked for another room but it was a long day of driving. The room also spells like stinky feet, like an animal had been in it. The laundry room was disgusting as well. It looks like the trash hadn't been taken out in a week. It was over flowing, there was dryer lint everywhere. It's not like this place was "cheap" go somewhere else. I won't be staying here again. read more

I realize you get what you pay for, but this hotel has taken this adage to a whole new level. I'm not even sure where to begin. The doors are numbered with masking tape and Sharpie. The "gym" hasn't been updated in years nor cleaned in months. It's filthy. Housekeeping is an absolute joke. One day they didn't empty the trash, despite it overflowing. The next day, they emptied the trash but never made the bed. It's almost like they pick and choose which services to offer each day. Super inconsistent. We had to call and ask for toilet paper. Towels have holes in them. Early in the morning they were cleaning and prepping the walls in the hallways for new wallpaper. That's fine except it was early in the morning. We were up, but I'm sure plenty of people were not. It was so loud, we couldn't even hear the TV in our room. We've never stayed in a Best Western before and I guarantee we will never stay in one again. It's obvious that they are undergoing maintenance and/or updating, which is entirely past due, but it would be better to just shut down for a month and get it all done without customers here.
