Service is excellent! On time and the lady on was very nice and helpful.car was really clean.

Called taxi service and waited 30 minutes before they showed up. When the guy finally showed up he drove past me and turned into a different street. I tried to chase the taxi and he sped off. I called dispatch and they said they would call him. Luckily he came back. While he was driving he was merging onto 680 and almost drove off the rode. While we were on 680 the guy started to drive in the middle of the intersection. Honestly having that guy drive he's a danger on the rode and would definitely cause an accident. He constantly kept swerving around, I thought he was drunk based on the way he was driving. Ohh heads up it's cash only I didn't know that so after kept it to my location had to turn around to go to 7/11 to get cash. And he when we left he started to drive on the wrong side of the rode. read more

Today I was barely missed from being ran over by Fairfield Taxi cab 10, on Pennsylvania St and Kentucky St, in Fairfield CA. The driver of the taxi was a caucasian male, wearing glasses, baseball cap, plaid button up shirt, mustache, beard and hair length to nape of neck. I know this because the taxi cab was that close to injuring my person. I called to the dispatch office to comment/complain. I was put on "annoying caller time out" The dispatcher was not listening to my concern and dismissively & reluctantly allegedly took my name and phone number. Taxi cab driver and Taxi cab dispatcher's like this are the reason UBER, LYFT, Carpool and public transportation are the passenger's FIRST choice. How unfortunate for the City of Fairfield that this is the only one of two cab companies available here. Fairfield Taxi/Fairfield Cab Co. has the majority of cabs and drivers here in Fairfield. The other cab company is Veteran's and they have very few drivers most of the time, so it is extremely difficult to get a ride through them, unless you are a long fare where they can make some money. If you are only looking to get from one side of town to the other or back and forth to run errands, or even going to one of the local nearby cities, like Suisun City, Rio Vista, Vacaville, or Vallejo, then you most likely will have to call Fairfield Taxi/Fairfield Cab Co. This really sucks, especially for the elderly, disabled, and those who do not drive or have a car to get around in. The best thing about this cab company is that there is a multitude of very competent and friendly cab drivers. And if you are lucky enough to actually catch a ride with one of them, be sure to get their name and number so you can call them directly to catch a cab ride because if you call the main dispatch line, you could be waiting for 2-3 hours, and that's if your lucky! It is ridiculous! It turns out that the dispatch is out of the country! It's not even in the United States, which makes it no where near Fairfield, CA! How the heck can a dispatcher who knows absolutely nothing about the streets, businesses, and various local locations in town able to determine whether or not a cab is available. Having spoke with several of the drivers for this cab co., the dispatch office is constantly asking them where they are located. Apparently, the location system that they use does not accurately let them know where they are or they are just incompetent! I have attempted to grab a cab several times, but have been informed several times that I would have to wait anywhere from an hour and a half to three hours! It can be so frustrating, especially when you are limited with time. The dispatchers are rude and hang up on you. I watched a front desk receptionist call Fairfield Taxi to come pick up an elderly woman from her doctor's appt. to take her home and was told that it would be two hours before anyone could come pick her up and then the man hung up on her! Neither the drivers, nor the passengers want to contact the dispatch office for anything! This is an overall consensus. I have had to use cab service ever since I was in my car accident and couldn't get around on my own. It's a good thing that I don't need to depend on cab service to get back and forth to doctor's appointments because I would hate to depend on Fairfield Taxi/Fairfield Cab Co., whichever name they decide they want to go by. The other plus side to this cab co. is the office manager. The previous office manager had been with the company for a great number of years. She was on the ball and on top of everything. She did all the scheduling and took all the dispatch calls and knew who she could depend on or which driver to call when she needed someone to pick up a ride. She ended up leaving the co. because her hours got cut when this new out of the country dispatch service was picked up. The new office manager is very helpful and tries her best to be as accommodating and fair to all her drivers and passengers, but she is only allowed to work in the office in the morning. She can only do so much with what she is given to work with. All call-in clients must go through the dispatch office. These taxi cabs are not all well kept. Some drivers take pride in their vehicles and clean it regularly, but other drivers feel that since the cab is not their own, they don't care what it looks like or smells like. And no one takes responsibility or takes accountability for keeping the cabs looking and smelling nice. If only someone could start a new taxi service and contract with the City of Fairfield and/or MTM Transportation. Be more generous and kind to their drivers and staff and demand excellence and accountability, reward and pay people what they deserve and keep their employees happy. It would be a great business opportunity for someone to put their money into. But until we get a new cab company out here, we are stuck calling these guys! read more

This company proves that cabs just need to go out of business. Called for a ride at 9:11am they said a driver would be here in 15min... ok cool. It is now 10:32am and still no cab. I called after waiting the first 30 minutes the dispatcher said the driver is 10 minutes away. Still waiting! Called the dispatcher back they hung up in my face! If u need a ride find another option! This company is horrible all the way around!! read more

Terrible response time and they like to take the long route to your destination. A 5 minute trip with these guys often lasts 10-15 for all of their detours, which they claim is faster. They don't seem to care about traffic laws when you're in the vehicle either. Very rough driving, often on the phone with personal calls (while hands free, is still unprofessional) Even when I'm not in a cab, I can't escape these people. on 11 May, I parked in a green waiting zone just before taxi 106 pulled up behind me and first tried to double park me. He did n't double park, but he chose to park in such a way so I could't get out. He didn't like that I took the closest (but not the last) legal curb spot, so he pulled into the red zone in front of me, blocking the intersection and boxing me in so I couldn't leave until he pulled away. Legal parking was 20 feet away. There was no excuse for this behavior. read more

My aunt whom is in her 70's was left waiting for over two hours in 90 degree weather during quarantine. She called the cab twice and was told they will come to pick her up. After a while she called back and they said 30 minutes after that she called again and was told 45 minutes and still had her waiting!!!! She was upset due to waiting two hours with groceries and finally decided to call us to see if we were able to pick her up. I will add that she is from the Bay Area and has spent many, many dollars coming down over the years and solely relies on public transportation Including a weekend ride from the train station to our house. Often would use the taxi cab if we are unavailable to pick her up ourselves. If you are not available to pick up a passenger For ANY reason, simply do not offer the pick up. It's not right to leave anyone let alone an elder in the extreme weather thinking you are on the way to pick her up. It is just wrong and disrespectful. read more

Very rude customer service, asked to hold without wanting a response, and when talking to her she was very short and didn't want the required facts to get to location of pickup. The taxi driver was a good man though, hence a little better rating. Other than that, I would stay away from using the taxi service if possible, and if not then prepare for an ungrateful representative on the phone who will hang up on you. It doesn't matter if people are too busy to talk on the phone. Common courtesy goes a very long way, and these guys don't get that. read more

Used them several times. They were nice to me, always showed up a few seconds earlier than promised, nice drivers. Prices are soooo high but that's probably true for all cabs these days. read more

Fairfield taxi has no consideration for the people they are contracted to provide services to who are going to and from their dialysis appt. My mom was waiting an hour past her scheduled pick up time in the dark after having her dialysis all day. They also dont show up on time to get my aunt. Who is vision impaired and has a service dog. They are always late because only few of their drivers will pick up her and the service dog and she is a veteran employed out at the travis airforce base!!! This taxi company isnt right at all. Makes me wonder how they treat the employees. read more

Waited for 25 minutes, called, only to find out drivers where just getting on line and "somebody would be there soon." Horrible bald driver in taxi 11. Very unsafe driving, horrible attitude and a poor representation of the company as a whole. Not sure if they have a supervisor to monitor drivers performance, but this guy(older, bald, Olive skin, pudgy) should be retrained immediately, if not let go. read more

Taxi driver showed up late. The cab reeked of cigarette smoke. He needed me to give him step by step directions to the Bart station. We were passed by every car on the road. Neither dispatch or driver ever gave me a price and the ride was not metered and over priced. I missed my train. read more

On July 22 in the early evening, I was walking in the Safeway parking lot from the Sushi restaurant to Safeway. The parking lot was empty and I saw a Fairfield taxi cab speeding through the parking lot across the parking places. The car turned toward me and I ran approximately 10 feet to get out of the way of the cab. The driver apparently saw me and suddenly slammed on his brakes, parked sideways across several parking stalls. He had his window down and I said "I'm glad you saw me, you are going to hit someone." The driver was hostile and yelled "did I hit you mutha fucka!" I took my cell phone out of my pocket and he sped through the parking lot, running the parking lot stop sign and street stop sign onto Waterman Blvd. I called dispatch who was very apologetic and told me that I should call Singh, the owner. I called Singh, who was just as hostile as the taxi driver. Singh repeatedly asked what the cab number was, and repeatedly cut me off when I tried to tell him what happened. I told Singh that if he didn't take this type of thing seriously that I'd post on YELP - he told me "go ahead, go ahead, go ahead" and hung up the phone. So, here we are. I can not believe that a customer and community service oriented business allows their employees to drive recklessly, behave in a confrontational manner, and take zero action based on a customer complaint. I will never use Fairfield Taxi and I suggest you avoid their business. read more

Easy booking of a ride in advance. Was put on hold abruptly, but that's not a really big deal to me. The operator was courteous and patiently answered all my questions. The cab was late arriving and the driver was a bit rude, but whatever. My big dissatisfaction is the rates and that they truly did take the long way to my destination, despite my request to go a certain direction (wasn't worth arguing with a surly cab driver over, or so I thought). If you have another option, take it. I'll only ever use Fairfield Taxi again as a last resort. read more

Faifield Taxi has been our cab service for several years in taking my elderly grandmother to her daycare program. Our driver, Manjeet is always dependable, punctual, courteous, patient and kind. He always goes above and beyond in helping her into and out of the vehicle. We are very grateful for his kind and generous service. We highly recommend Fairfield Taxi. Ask for Manjeet! We called for a taxi at 7:56pm and hasn't shown up yet and it is 9:21pm. Have been trying to call since 8:36 and no answer then finally she picked up and we told her and she said hold on and put us on hold only to be hung up on. Very poor customer service read more

When I called for a ride the dispatcher was nice and gave me approximate 10 min wait for pick up. Thanks driver came on time to pick us up and he was very nice and polite. We had to do some shopping so I told him and he gave us his cab # so we could request him back. I called dispatch when finished and she gave a 15 min wait time. The driver was right on time again. Very pleased with these people and will use again. read more

I would not recommend anyone to this service. You have to wait for a long time. Their drivers smell and their taxis are dirty.

I wish there was a zero star option. Called an hour ago for a ride for my friend and was told 20-25 min wait. She Waited 35 minutes and I called can company to see if everything was ok. Was told she was next on the list. 45 minutes and still not there, so she Started walking. She called to get a cab 2 minutes into her walk, thinking they must have just forgotten about her, and the cab driver in the background (taking to dispatcher) was yelling profanities saying he was at the gas station for 20 minutes already and he wasn't picking her up again. First of all, no cabs wait 20 minutes for a rider, also, they CALL to ensure you know they're there (which never happened), Second of all, she was literally the ONLY person at the gas station and was waiting at the doors for them. So anyways, she cancelled it since there was no way she was going to get a ride from a cussing and yelling cab driver who said he was there and obviously wasn't. Downloaded uber instead. Worst taxi service ever Hands down. read more
