people sitting at tables in a coffee shop

Well sad to say my 1st experience here was a bit disappointing. The house-made, "not too sweet" (as I was told) vanilla chai was rather sweet. And they lost my breakfast sandwich order. I had to go ask what was up and they didn't even know what I ordered. Considering I'm on a road trip and trying to get out of town after this I was disappointed they didn't do better. The place was very full, not much seating available when I arrived. Had to wait for people to clear out to sit down. The sandwich was fine, although nothing to write home about. Cute place, I'd give them a 2nd try hoping for a better visit if I was local.

I'm a sucker for coffee shops , so it was only right that I found one while visiting Wichita, KS. Stopped at @fairmountcoffee by WSU campus . Enjoyed the chill vibes with different areas for relaxation or getting some work done. Caramel macchiato is always been my go to , no matter what! Nice jams softly playing in the background , while the sweet smell of pastries fly throughout the shop. Also serving wraps, sandwiches, paninis and select seasonal drinks. If your ever in Wichita, KS definitely make sure you stop by @fairmountcoffee and tell em Timmy sent you! Follow me on Instagram @Timmyinthecity

This place has a great atmosphere for studying and catching up with friends. I love all the natural lighting, comfortable seating, big tables, soft music, and lots of outlets. The staff is super friendly, and the coffee never disappoints. So glad we have this place in Wichita :) I always run into people I know!

Very impressed. Had great coffee and some good deserts. Fun quiet atmosphere. Was a good place for a date with the wife.

Coffee was decent. Service was VERY slow with no one in front of me and the club sandwich-while it tasted food- wasn't actually made correctly (only one layer was made correctly and they skimped and only put tomato and onion on the second layer... NOT how that's done. Also hella expensive for all this ... Nice enough place. Good atmosphere though NOT ENFORCING MASKS...

I live in an Asian shaved ice desert. Perhaps that's why I'm already super enthusiastic when I…read moretravel and find some. Simply the gratitude of it being present in middle America sets me up to have a good experience. Someone complained in a review about the "false advertisement" of having shaved ice as most Americans know it. It's hilarious to be that they assumed it to be what they know as shaved ice. If they had tried the Asian shaved ice, I guarantee they'd enjoy it and wouldn't have complained. If you know about other culture's shaved ice, you're open to try new things and let yourself be surprised. I digress. The shaved ice found here is the Korean version, Bingsu. It's very similar to other styles, but this one is mostly milk based. The menu is pretty extensive, including smoothies, yogurt, juice, coffee, boba tea, and of course shaved ice cream. We came for the shaved ice cream, so we tried the strawberry & mango first. It mixed the two, which surprised me since I had assumed it would be half and half separated. The combination worked beautifully. There was whipped cream, strawberry and mango syrup on top and we asked for mango popping boba. It was so delicious! The best way I can describe it is a feathery texture that melts in your mouth. We also tried the coconut one which came with condensed milk and coconut shavings. We also added strawberry popping boba. Highly recommend either/bob. Since the consistency is light and fluffy, even though the portions are generous, you don't feel stuffed afterwards. The place is spacious and has tall ceiling, making it very open. There's seating available on both floors. I enjoyed the Korean music playing and the tv translating the lyrics. The volume was just right (as opposed to some reviews out there complaining it was too loud). I probably wouldn't try to make calls inside though. The guy at the counter was super nice. He kept smiling really big the whole time he talked to us. Made me smile too. He also told us about the Korean cheesecake they have for sale. It looked delicious and fluffy so I got the coffee one. It was more of a sponge cake than cheesecake but it was delicious. Highly recommend.

I love Korean style shaved ice and this place popped up when we were looking for one to go to after…read moredinner. It was super cute in there, I love the vibe and how there is an upstairs and downstairs. We ordered the strawberry mango and green tea shaved ice. They weren't the best I've had but they also weren't bad. I wish they included some toppings. It definitely isn't super authentic when it comes to the tradition Korean shaved ice. And the flavor is good but not the best. Everyone there was nice as well.
