My brother drove from Texas to visit my family and I, due to a work emergency he had to fly back and left his car in our care. THIS is exactly why he chooses to live in Texas and not Cali. So embarrassing that Ford couldn't have done a better job. Crapy customer service! I'll never hear the end of it now. Thanks Ford. Service department needs to get it together! Over two weeks to fix a blend door actuator and valve cover replacement, all covered by extended warranty. My husband is a mechanic and had to specifically tell Ford to look at the valve cover due to smoke coming out of the exhaust, because they looked with their eyes at the exhaust and couldn't figure it out, HUGE RED FLAG! That's something a FORD mechanic should know! A week in, we get a phone call asking if we have a spare because they lost our keys, thankfully they magically showed up a few days later. We called a few times to get updates and either it was a runaround, excuses about pictures and sending out to warranty, yet the truck had been there a week, or simply just no callback. My husband had to show up and surprise them and asked to look at the truck just to ensure everything was OK. Customer shouldn't have to show up to get a status on their own vehicle! Over 2 weeks for a blend door actuator and a cracked valve cover. If you know anything about cars, you know it would not take over 2 weeks to do this simple work! When you pay for extended warranty on a Ford raptor, you don't do these things yourself, you expect good customer service from Ford! Also our back window isn't going down and we also needed this fixed. The answer we get is "it's working when I do it" so we still have a window in our truck that doesn't go down and of course would have been covered by warranty as well, but when you don't care about customer service and doing your job, this is how customers walk away, unsatisfied! AND THE DARN BUTTON THAT "WORKS" IS NOW COMPLETELY BROKEN! We'll have to go to another Ford dealer for this! Definitely not going back to this incompetent lazy dealership! read more

I reached out to corporate office all they told me that they couldn't do anything for me because some Ford's are independently owned. So I called the dealership and asked to speak to Mr Mayhem which is the head of the dealership instead I spoke someone under him which to me was very rude because he didn't have the decency to reach out to me. I called to have my oil changed last week and was told to bring in my vehicle. Upon arrival I was told it would not be completed before the end of the day. The guy at the counter said they "got slammed". He said i can make an appointment to ensure it would be completed the same day. I made the appointment for this morning and dropped my vehicle off. I just received a call at 3:00 pm and told my vehicle may not be completed today but I could leave it overnight to be completed tomorrow morning. This is the second time in 2 weeks the service department made promises for delivery that were not kept. I had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with Fairview Ford in San Bernardino, specifically within the Parts Department. The staff is disorganized, and no one seemed capable of basic problem solving. Each time I asked for clear answers regarding my issue, I was passed from one person to another, and staff became visibly irritated when I requested clarification or accountability. Linda, the Parts Manager, was particularly unhelpful and dismissive. I am missing a $534.59 refund. I have a receipt showing the refund was processed, and my bank has confirmed that the transaction was only authorized and that the funds were never sent to them. Because the dealership never completed the refund on their end, the bank cannot return money it never received. When I stated that Fairview Ford had my money and I needed it returned, Linda laughed and responded, "I'm not Ford." This statement was made despite her being the Parts Manager at Fairview Ford in San Bernardino. As an employee and department manager, she is a representative of the company, and when customers are directed to her to resolve an issue, she is the company in that moment. Her response showed a refusal to take responsibility rather than an effort to resolve the problem. Additionally, Linda demonstrated outdated and incorrect knowledge of tap and payment security systems. Modern tap payments tokenize card information to protect customer data. Proper training on payment processing, refund tracing, and customer service should be required to prevent situations like this. When I requested corporate contact she giggled and said what ford? Never provide me such information saying I need this call to be over. Linda was dismissive and acted as though such escalation did not exist. As a franchised dealership operating under the Ford name, Fairview Ford is still expected to uphold Ford's customer service and professionalism standards. Because the dealership refused to assist in locating my missing funds or reissuing a refund that was never completed, I have now submitted the transaction to my bank and am filing a formal complaint with ford and the BBB.
