The older man running the shop barely looked at me before acting annoyed that I was even there. He flat-out refused to help, like lifting a finger for a paying customer was beneath him. No greeting, no explanation, no attempt to be decent -- just pure attitude. I left feeling more frustrated than when I arrived, wondering how a business can survive when the person in charge treats people like they're a burden. If you want to waste your time, get disrespected, and leave with your problem still unsolved, then by all means, stop here. I went in for brake fluid change and oil change. I'm very impressed by the price of the services. The work was done sooner than expected so that's a plus. They even washed the car afterwards! I appreciate the service and will definitely be back. *Update* The tech that did my engine oil overfilled my engine oil by about a quart. It might not be a big deal to some but any chance of damaging my engine/seals is a big deal to me. I went back to get it drained back to the right level and the tech didn't take out enough. It's still reading half a quart over the max line. My best guess is he doesn't know how to read the dipstick. Safe to say I can't go back and trust the shop again sadly. read more

We have a 2003 Chevy Silverado. We had trouble with it staying charged we told about Andy and we took it in and it was an alternator and he fixed it very good priced repair and then we had another problem with the air conditioning and we took it in thinking we needed a condenser to find out it was just a valve and he replace the valve he could of replaced it with a condenser and we would've never even known the difference but he's an honest man and that's what I like about him and he does good work and he's nice. What's this orange light that popped up one day after work? Oh goodness! You know that feeling when you are excited to leave work and get home and relax, oh man...I did not feel like that this week. I was leaving work and my carlight came on!!! Figuring I should just take care of it right away instead of putting it off, I found this auto repair shop. It is honestly hidden! I usually see the sign for lube and tube (right next to the car wash) when I drive home on the freeway, but I have not taken the time to ever visit. When I came in, Andy was very pleasant. Even though he was working, he still said hi, and asked if I could wait a few minutes while he finished up on a car he was working on. Often times at other places, I feel like im waiting and NO one knows im there. He offered me a bottled soda (I didn't even need to pay!) Now that's customer satisfaction! I didn't even mind that I had to wait. He made me feel better by just telling me the problem with my car and giving me the estimate right away. I waited at the Starbuck's and was just reading my book. Even though you cannot see the auto repair shop, please look for it right next to the car wash! I took my 2014 jeep wrangler (40k miles) in for an oil change and to check an oil leak. They had me leave it over night because they wouldn't be able to finish it that day and said it will be kept inside so nobody can mess with it. Was driving down from Big Bear when we smelled burning smell coming from the car-- brake pads needed to be replaced. It was 6am and no place was really open or would take us without an appointment but we waited outside A1 until they opened after reading other great reviews. I hate to leave bad reviews because I know this business is someone's livelihood. That being said, the mechanic has shown no respect or consideration for my husbands best interest, just as a human being. My husband took his car in because the spark plugs were out and the mechanic also changed the coils and valve covered gasket. My husband was charged $1,100. While the car was in the shop, the mechanic tells my husband that he needs 2 hoses replaced, so my husband then pays an extra $200 to fix the hose problem. Fine. No problem. If our car would have been fixed, we would have no problem. In less than a few days, the car started leaking really badly. My husband took the car back in and was told that the mechanic would fix it. When we picked the car up, as soon as we parked it in our driveway, the car started leaking again. The mechanic had the audacity to tell my husband that now the radiator was leaking and that he could fix it for another $700! I cannot believe how much this mechanic was willing to take advantage of my husband. AND our car is still not fixed. read more
