Fairview managed an apartment for me in the beginning everything was good, later they started to not post my rent deposits to the point I had to go to there office a demand my rent be deposited to my account, end of the year statement were not given to me on time for tax purposes and when I decided not to use them anymore they refused to return my tenants security deposit. read more

I'm an out of state property owner. I used fairview to manage my 6 unit close by. Everything was ok, until I sold the property. They held on to a deposit to cover any final utility bills that I may be responsible for after the transfer, which I understood. Please do not rent from this place unless you really need a place to stay. And there is no other option. Which was us a year ago because our old landlord moved to Cali and sold the house we were renting. They lack heavily in communication. Also, they don't value you unless it's time to pay the rent. The flooring has been falling apart since we got here. Still waiting 8 months later to get the floors fixed because only 1 guy knows how to fix it. The flooring was not done correctly the subfloor is all unleveled. They should get more maintenance to assist so they don't exhaust that one tech if that's really the case. Now my house have been flooding on and off since 3weeks with sewage. They constantly cancel work orders without doing them saying it's an open work order we can cancel it. Unfortunately, because they have had an open work order for my floors since last year. Then over the winter when it got freezing cold -30 they said they because I only had one return vent was the reason and that it wasn't cost effective for them to make another vent to keep our family warm. So they said just keep everything open should help the house wouldn't go over 60+ degrees. At this point I'd say when looking look at all reviews for places and be very wise and cautious. How can they want so much from tenants high rent and still don't keep up with the maintenance requests. They wait last min to do lease renewals to up your rent last min making it hard for you to move. I had to call the city to have them to get it together. They lied to the city and told them I said it wasn't urgent. Grateful I have evidence. We thought we made a good choice. But we were wrong. We have our children here and to live in this filth is ridiculous. Paying now 2550 here with them not worth it. Find somewhere else to live. Worst experience. Terrible company. Don't rent or hire them to take care of your property find someone reliable, responsible and honest. This ain't the company. read more

INVESTORS/OWNERS BEWARE!! I would highly caution against anyone considering going into business with this company. They are unresponsive, poorly structured, and will absolutely NOT manage your property. The owner, Hadi, makes a great sales pitch to get you onboard, including an extension of his personal assistance if you need anything, but take this at face value because if you ever NEED him, he will not respond to emails or calls. I was asked to establish a threshold for maintenance approvals. This threshold was not adhered to and I received a large repair charge that I was not informed of. Work orders that required my approval were not provided to me until multiple weeks later causing extensive delays for the tenant to have required repairs performed. To make matters worse, they sent my property into abatement because of three failed inspections. I was not notified of the inspections prior to, however was informed of only 1 failed inspection because of an approval required for repairs. When the property reached abatement, their team had NO CLUE of what was going on. I reached out via email and calls, and both were met without answers and promised call backs that never occurred. Hadi never responded to calls or emails, but had the audacity to terminate my account after I demanded that this issue be resolved. Needless to say, this company is a NIGHTMARE. The person closest to professionalism is Cynthia. Outside of Cynthia, there's no hope. You will not receive payments on consistent times of the month, in fact, you may have to reach out to understand when you will receive your rent. Communications are nonexistent and there's a complete lack of structure. You will not have a point of contact for your account, instead you will just grab for traction with any one of the six various names that will reach out to you. Word of advice: STAY AWAY!! I don't typically air out companies like this, but this experience has been stressful that I would never wish this on anyone else. If they want to respond to this review with any follow up outside of acceptance of responsibility, just know I HAVE RECEIPTS FOR EVERY CONVERSATION AND AM WILLING TO UPLOAD EVERY ONE OF THEM. read more

First off they faxed my application to who knows where with all of my information on it, ran my credit after denying they received my application, and missed 2 confirmed appointments to view the property. Worst property management company in the history of the universe. They took a pristine property, failed to respond to tenant complaints, and never inspected the property. The property was then totally trashed, at a cost to me of over $20,000. Particularly interesting is the fact that they think they are entitled to charge fees even when a property is vacant. Moved into a property that had a washer and dryer in it. We asked the agent before we even put in our application if it actually worked. And of course they said yes. Well, moved in went to wash and guess what? It doesn't work! So now I have a washer filled with water that they won't come repair or replace because supposedly it wasn't included with the unit??? My encounter with this so called realty group has been a nightmare! They are unprofessional in business, laid back in the corner thinking about what's next for lunch...I submitted an application for rental which took all most a week and half to complete after calling their office every day to confirm it they had received my application via fax. When I checked my credit, they submitted a "hard Inquire" which remains on your credit report for approximately 2 years. As a result, I have not been offered the unit I applied because I was informed that they were unable to get feedback from the owner who makes the final decision. What kind of business is this??? Maybe, these are the people who are seeking out identity theft. Watch and monitor your credit and identity while dealing with these people! In other words, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! read more

If you can avoid this company please do!!! If I could give them no stars I would definitely do that. These people don't care about you they just want your money. My wife and I moved into one of their units and it has been a nightmare from day one. First when we saw the apartment we wanted they tried to stick us in a different one that we had not seen. They gave us keys that didn't work and we had to contact one of the managers about it. One of the managers actually fixed that problem and we thought things would be okay. Needless to say we were wrong. The first issue we had after moving in was with the water. The cold water barely comes out and the hot water is hit or miss. The water pressure is up and down at best. You could start out with hot water and wind up with barely warm water after a little while. In the kitchen, we have found roaches coming out the edges of where the sink should be flush against the wall. We have called maintenance several times about the issue and they came and sprayed only to have them return again. We have put down roach traps to get rid of them as well as wash everything with bleach, but they are still there. In the bathroom, we had a hole in the tile and asked for maintenance to come out and fix it. After calling several times they finally sent someone out to look at it only to have them do nothing and we ending up having to call them out again to get it squared away. They threw a sheet of what seems like a cheap wall covering over it and tried to smooth it over with some clay. The clay doesn't even keep it in place and is coming off of the wall. Basically, they didn't fix the wall they just put something over it. We wonder if their is mold behind it because that might be the reason it was coming off in the first place. The next issue we had was with the heat. The heat went out for several weeks during the cold parts of November. We had to sleep in several pairs of clothes to stay warm while calling over and over again for something to be done. My neighbors who have children had to dress them in extra closes to stay warm. One of the maintenance guys came and dropped off a space heater, but didn't think the other tenants needed them until we alerted the other tenants about it. They finally fixed the heat after the we contacted the building inspector. The company had moved and had not notified any of our tenants in the building. The phone numbers they gave us for the maintenance line no longer worked. Rodney, one of the manager's phone number no longer worked when we called him. The last thing so far is the lighting in the hallway. The lights were not coming on. When it got dark outside it became a hazard to get up and down the stairs without falling down. My neighbor who is handicapped is on the third floor and has trouble getting down the stairs. He fell one day because their was no lighting in the stairs. I ended up changing out one of the light bulbs myself and my neighbor who is handicapped ended up getting new batteries for fire alarm that was down because there was no battery in it. read more

Happy new year to Fairview realty. Just wanted to let you know that I've been on vacation for 2 weeks for the holidays and to come back to my apartment run by Fairview is wonderful. The grounds are always free of trash, the lawn service is once every week.and the halls are always vacuum and clean. And a great smelling fragrance is added. I take pride in where I live and I keep a smile.....no place like home. Maintenance is pretty quick and if you have a slight issue with anything to else, they are ALWAYS willing to listen and help. Maintenance has been really good with the inquiries I've been having . It's not one time I've had to call in this past week and the maintenance man didn't come to my needs. Also I have been recieving calls from the agency trying to get in contact with me so they can resolve the issue and I really appreciate that. I really wouldn't even give them 1 star . We moved in 6/2015 and all the things promised wasn't fixed. First we had a leak all through the house and it took them over 2 months to fix it. And that's only because I said I was calling the city on them then she threatened me .The other problems the home had still isn't fixed. The home has a very bad smell and I'm sure it's coming from all the leaks . There was trash left from them cleaning up the home and they tried to bill is for the citation the city billed them for their trash,took them 2 months to take it off of our bill. Now we have another leak from bathroom that leaks down to basement and it's been over 1 month and we still have the leak. No one has came to fix it yet!
