Dinner was excellent. No complaints. Great sevice from staff. The food was amazing. The best steak salad I have ever had. We also had the bread pudding dessert and we liked it a lot. It disappeared within a couple of minutes. Additionally, I drank the Cadillac margarita and it was very good. I like strong drinks and this margarita met my expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are definitely coming back for more food and drinks. read more

The second time we went to the cafe, we ordered fettuccine Alfredo with and Mahi Mahi with mushroom risotto. The server forgot to put the chicken in the fettuccine she then said I'll have them redo it and I said to go. If I could give this place a zero I would. We have eaten at the Noodle Bar in Soboba numerous times, and have always been served hot food in a timely manner, with a friendly server. It is not the same with Fairway Cafe. They are disorganized, confused, and just plain rude. The manager- some young woman- is a joke. We went there five months ago and had poor service. Long wait times, food came out incorrect and cold, you name it. Thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt and try it again today. Waited a half hour in line although there were numerous empty tables. We ordered two simple bowls of cream of broccoli, and a grilled chicken sandwich to split. Got the soup at a relatively fast pace, but after that, we waited almost an hour for our sandwich. A large group of people who sat down long after us, received their food first. We questioned our waitress, who kept saying that she would check, and then disappear for ten minutes, and then return with no food. Her excuse was that it was a thick piece of chicken that took a while to cook. When we finally received the meal, the fries were old, cold and soggy. The "thick" piece of chicken was two ounces total at best. The waitress comes by after ten minutes and says does everything look good? We complain (again). She disappears (again). She finally comes out and says that management is offering dessert. We tell her we don't want dessert. It will just go bad in the car since we're not going straight home. I ask to talk to the manager. Rude blonde chick comes up and says you asked to talk to a manager? Acts rude and clueless regarding the whole event. Says that since we ate the food and didn't send it back, that she couldn't do anything. I said we're we supposed to send it back and wait again? We were literally STARVING and at that point of time just said oh well and ate the disgusting food. Finally she says she will check with the cook on wait times. Comes back and finally takes off one soup, my husband's soda, and a measly ten percent. In doing so, she apparently has the urge to include that the cook said it wasn't an hour that I waited. So now she is going to rudely argue with me and call me a liar? Whatever. Never going back there to eat again. Even if the food was free I would not go back. Soboba do yourselves a favor, and get yourself a more professional manager who knows how to properly manage an establishment. read more

My family and I had a wonderful dinner at the Fairway Cafe restaurant at the Soboba Casino. The food was delicious and the service was great. There was a lovely woman by the name of Martha that was very helpful. She led us to our table and answered a few questions about the menu. She even came back later during our meal to check on us. My husband and I had the Thursday senior special, yes you will get old some day too. Anyway, for $6.00 each plus tax and tip he had a great meatloaf and I had a great roasted half chicken. Decided to eat dinner at Fairway Cafe last night. Service was great! Quick, friendly, happy and helpful. We had 3 dinners steak & lobster, our server Alexandra did awesome. She checked on us frequently, refilled our drinks and bussed our finished plates. I have mixed reviews. The first couple of times I've been here the food was great and the staff was very friendly. I just recently went to Fairway, and this time I got food poisoning from some undercooked chicken on the Caesar salad. The margaritas we ordered were not good either. The staff has remained very friendly and accommodating. I'm not sure if I will return to this establishment. Maybe in the future I'll give it another chance. read more

I was out visiting soboba casino and decided I was going to try and see how the food at fairway was. That being said we had a waitress named Alexandra. Waitress with Blonde hair. Let me start off with her energy was through the roof!! She was soo happy and uplifting she made my day. Literally put a smile on my face!! I can say I'm going to definitely return do to the fact of my experience here at fairway! Not many times these days do you find a waitress with such energy and professionalism! She noticed every time our drinks were out and not once did I feel like I was waiting for something! She was on point! 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Absolutely poor service here. I ordered the regular breakfast and the plate came 30 mins late, soggy bread, eggs and bacon not to order. I called the manager who met my eyes but chose to ignore me. I waved to 2 people at the counter and they turned their backs to me. I called a passing waitress who also met my eyes and just passed me. The poor water boy, the only hardworking person out of 10 in the room helped and called the waitress. If Soboba wants people to come back, they have to elevate their service to 5 stars! read more

I highly recommend Fairway Cafe! Everything that Chef Brian made was EXCELLENT! He also visited our table to ask how we were enjoying the cuisine. The manager Mayra,was the most gracious and wonderful leader... making sure that we enjoyed every moment of our dining experience ! This lovely cafe has all the makings of a 5 star restaurant! I arrived and was promptly seated by the hostess, and greeted by my lovely server, who got me a drink first off. I ordered the Drunken Bull because who can resist a good burger? Let me tell you, perfectly cooked to order, this flavorful burger is probably the best burger I have even had the pleasure of eating. I spoke to the manager, to convey my compliments to the chef, and the rest of the team at Fairway. Again, I was amazed, as she has to be one of the nicest, and well liked by her staff, people I have met in the food industry. In this time of many changes, this team has got it right. Social distancing was enforced, and it's obvious that the team spends a lot of time making sure things are clean, and safe for the customers. Thank you Fairway, for your 5 star food, and service. Ambiance of this establishment was great, but you could smell the cigarette smoke from the casinio :/. The portions were fair, but my meal was barely room temperature. I can say the quality of the dish was good, but lacked seasoning. However do not get salmon. My husband got the soboba salad with salmon. The salmon he swears is farm raised and he said it tasted like bug spray. Plus the salad was supposed to have glazed pecans and strawberries. He found maybe 5 tiny pieces of pecans in the bowl and only 2 small slices of strawberry. Not enough to even make 1 strawberry. Would I go here again?? I probably will not. read more

My wife and I enjoy the burgers here, they're a good size and are tasty. For some reason though, every time we've been to this restaurant it's like pulling teeth to get a clean table here. They need to get on top of their cleaning game after guests leave. They always only have one table clean that we don't want to sit at( we prefer a booth). And if we ask them to clean a booth, it's like the end of the world to them. They always have an excuse why we can't sit there, and they are too lazy to clean their tables. One manager was very rude and literally took one swipe at the table with his cloth and then seated us at a clearly still dirty table. We got up and left. Clean your tables after they have been used! I wanted to make my first trip to the new Soboba Casino a memorable one. So, I decided to go for the boxing event they had on June 1st. The new Casino looks amazing and the fights were great. But the real highlight of the night was the Fairway Cafe. Fantastic food, fantastic view, and especially fantastic service. I had the New York steak and it came with mashed potatoes and veggies, cant recommend it highly enough. The steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were so smooth it was like they were homemade. The service was phenomenal, it really made the meal. Everyone was so friendly and professional especially the Manager Sabrina. Even on a busy night Sabrina made sure to come check on me several times to see how my meal was going and always made sure my drink was full. After my meal she was even nice enough to let me onto the patio to take a quick picture of the golf course, what a beautiful view. It was a great experience a total hole in one. read more

I'm not going to go by yelp reviews from now on. The coffee is just terrible. Instead of using a good coffee they make theirs super strong to the point of being sour and bitter. Eight dollar oatmeal was good. The brussels sprouts breakfast was OK tasting but looks like a plate of garbage. My friend had scrambled eggs. With a decent tip it came to 40 bucks for breakfast. We had to ask for a handicapped elevator three times to three different people. At no time did anyone offer to show us where it was or how to find the button to call it. It made me wonder why when we entered the establishment no one suggested we take the elevator up and my handicap friend climbed a very steep set of stairs without objection from any employees. Food was pretty good and we had a sweet server,but the server who replaced her after she went on break was not attentive at all. We had no napkins and had to ask for things multiple times and he took a very long time to get it. I usually don't complain ,but we were literally the only customers in the restaurant .
