When I asked when or how this appointment was made, the receptionist was dismissive, unhelpful, and rude rather than clarifying the situation. This interaction was very off-putting and unprofessional, and it made me decide not to move forward with this practice. Not a good voice or representation to have for first impressions especially in healthcare. The receptions clearly does not care, isn't friendly, and both times calling she seems extremely annoyed by the fact that there's someone calling. Ridiculous

However, my experience with Dr. Kurt was the complete opposite. During my appointment, I felt rushed, handled roughly, and at times dismissed when I showed discomfort. There were moments where I was yelled at in a way that felt unprofessional and upsetting, and physical interactions during the procedure felt more forceful than expected. At one point, my hand was pushed away while I was trying to communicate discomfort, which made the situation feel even more distressing. I left the appointment feeling extremely shaken, and the experience stayed with me for days afterward. Dental visits can already be stressful, especially for patients with anxiety, and this interaction made that significantly worse. I want to be clear that this review reflects my personal experience. While the office itself has a friendly staff, I would strongly encourage anyone who is nervous about dental visits to ask questions about who will be treating them beforehand.

The only issue is that South Alabama Orthodontist (SAO) had already done a fantastic job getting her teeth to look amazing. We did not want any new teeth coming in and pushing things around. The office was very nice, an older building in Foley, very conveniently located. It is right on Highway 98 just west of 59. The staff were really friendly and efficient. We did not have to sit around waiting for a long time. Dr. Miller was also really friendly, had lots of good energy and did a great job explaining the process. I have been looking for a new dentist in the area for a while and came across orange beach family…read moredentistry. So, I decided to give them a call and the front desk was pleasant and helpful with getting me set up for a cleaning and getting my dental health back in order. I was booked in a timely manner and seen very quickly after my call. Once I made the appointment, I received texts and emails to confirm my appointment and also sending my paperwork paperless which was great to fill out which gave the option to put all my card information in so that it could be checked prior to me coming in. I promptly filled out the information and sent it back to the office and confirmed my appointment so there would be no issues. On the day on my appointment I came in the office it is very nice and clean. Front desk staff was very very nice as well, and greeted me before the door was even closed. I then was called back very quickly and started my appointment. Everything went very smoothly from the xrays to the cleaning. Tina was my hygienist and made me very comfortable as I have a huge fear of all thing's dentist related. So much that she made sure I had warm water for my gums as they are sensitive to cold water. She made great small talk with me to take my mind off the things being done to put my mind at ease. When I saw Dr. Lauren Holloway she was just the most pleseant dentist I have ever had.
