My experience here was disappointing; their system seems to have added dye to the soap to create a special appearance, but it didn't even properly cover my car. Even in rinse mode, some soap remained on my vehicle. The vacuuming service was also subpar--I could have done a better job myself. Picture a post-apocalyptic outpost where someone decided to start washing cars instead of hoarding gasoline. The building looks like it's survived several natural disasters and a zombie uprising. When I went inside to pay, I half-expected to find a barter system in place. The "convenience store" shelves were mostly empty except for some dusty car accessories and a couple of energy drinks from a brand that probably went bankrupt before Y2K. That being said, you don't see many places like this anymore -- where actual human beings dry off your car by hand. For that alone, Fairway earns major points. The whole service ran me about $27 (as of October 2025), which feels fair considering the effort. If you roll up when it's busy, you might as well settle in -- there are only a couple of guys out there doing all the drying, and they look like they've been fighting the good fight for a while. despite all that, they did a great job on my car. It came out clean, shiny, and streak-free, which is all I really wanted. So yeah, it might look like civilization collapsed here years ago, but somehow they're still out there making cars look fresh off the lot. Respect. read more

1 year later, i wanted to give this place another try. 3 months ago when i came, they did an ok job and price was decent. Hand wax for $60. This time, they lied again. Please dont come to this place. They cover their regular price and just tell you random price to mark up depending on who they see. They told me my car is too low to go through the machine but i came 3 months ago and they never change their machines. They charge me extra for washing MY car and 75 for express hand wax. They charge me 50 for a regular silver wash which is 3 levels down from express hand wax. They lied and thats what happen to them. Lose a business and no tips for their workers. Very sad. Have been coming to this Carwash for years. Monthly membership. Now has new ownership and they fired half the crew. One or two guys to dry cars. Now it's 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get a Carwash. The new owner tells me if I don't like it I can cancel my membership because that's what he wants. Increased price, decreased service. And they always close early. So sad. Absolute trash! I recently moved back and would always get my car washed here but never again. I was offered the " manager special " which was the basic wash but marked up 50 bucks . It was not a busy day but still waited over an hour . When I got to my car I did mention to the guy the areas he missed but the longer I sat in the car the more I saw nothing was cleaned , not even wiped down . I went to speak with the manager but was told that they wouldn't refund any portion ,not even half of the money back but would clean " what I didn't like" . I really wanted to get my car wash here. However, sorry, I really can't recommend this place. Upon arrival , I didn't see any prices printed for regular washes. A guy walked over and said it'd be $39.99. This would just be a regular wash and interior vacuuming. I got the feeling that I was being overcharged, so I kindly declined and then decided to leave to get a car wash elsewhere. The other place I went to was $24.99 before tax and tip for a regular wash. So he wins and Fairway loses. It's simple. See dirt. Clean dirt. The wash was nearly 45min. I thought it was 45 full minutes of TLC off of a Platinum Wash + Wax special. The result was as if it was hosed down on the outside and slightly vacuumed on the inside. When I asked for the interior to be cleaned, the guy mutter in Spanish about my tip. I brought my car in today on a Friday and they were somewhat busy but still got the job done within an hour or so. The time didn't matter so much to me as their establishment has a cute little koi pond and is next to a gas station for snacks. I haven't had the time to really deep clean my car and they did just that for the managers special for $65. They offered so many scents to spray down afterwards and the jasmine I picked smelled really good. I get the reasoning behind the bad reviews but I had a good experience and this seems like a small, family owned business compared to all the automatic car washes these days that just scratch up your paint. I know I gave this place a bad review some time ago, I was in the area and need a car wash really badly and this one was the closest. I pulled in and was surprised that it was completely empty. I ran after him and told him that I said gold. He told me there was no other way to charge me for a gold wash. The price was 42 dollars. I told him that was absolutely ridiculous so instead he charged me for a quote on quote basic wash which was 4 dollars cheaper. He told me that prices went up because the " owner " wasn't making any money. In my head I was like of course he's not making any money at those prices. Nobody is going to come. There are a lot of homes here but because the car wash looks ran down you kind of wonder if they're using old stuff they don't have enough staff on hand, the guy that gives you your ticket on the car wash your getting runs inside and then he takes your ticket so you can pay that's how bad it is here all the palm trees need cutting and painting. There are still Koi fish very green water Nothing been done since it opened years ago, I believe it did close down at one point prices are high kinda expensive $31 for basic wash Alamo car wash off of Nogales before you get to Amar their quality they have really good snacks. Took my daughter Tesla to get washed. Was told that the cars wheel cover will get damaged if they run it through the auto wash, so I had to pay extra for the bucket wash, which I did. They then proceeded to run the car through the auto wash anyway even though I paid for the bucket wash, which of course damaged the wheel covers. When I bought it up with the guy that takes your order, guy said sorry they didn't know. WTF. Horrible service, not only did they scammed me for paying extra for service they didn't do, they then damaged the wheels anyway. Would have been better off going to a gas station wash. Damn, have the times changed. 10 years ago I used to come to this place often. But fast forward to May 2022, this place is now a dump. I really think management here is struggling to make ends meet and it shows. Facilities are run down, old and outdated. They don't even try to make it look and feel nice anymore. Weathered and confusing signs everywhere trying to upsell you on marginal differences. The heart of the business here, the workers cleaning and washing the car kinda just half ass everything and just "mop" your car. As the car pulls through the wash tunnel, it goes by way too fast for the hand wash workers to even do anything. At this point you might as well go through an express wash at the gas station. I'm not pointing anybody out, but just the overall way the business is being run, needs to improve. I tried my best being loyal to this place as it was once the best car wash in the area. But now, I'm gonna have to go elsewhere. This time around I paid for some $40 dollar special (and an additional 4% credit card fee), and because I value local service workers, a $10 tip. The nice gentleman drying my car did an excellent job. Am I expecting a $600 dollar full detail level of clean? No. Do I think I got my money's worth (all in $50)? No, not really. Came here to get an express car wash today! Turns out they drive the vehicle for you to get washed and you pick up on the other side. Hand scrubbed and hand dry by real people and done in 10 mins on a Wednesday afternoon for $8.99! Great service and staff.
