This is a place where they basically run your car thru their automatic car wash... and they vacuum it for you. They do not wipe down your leather seats at all. Pretty much the same quality as if you went to the drive thru car wash and did it yourself. I paid for the $30 one. When i asked them if they could wipe down the seats, the staff got mad. And I ended up using the spray to wipe it down by myself. This is a last resort type of place when your too lazy to do drive thru car wash yourself. This place has gone down hill. The car comes out of the wash still covered in soap. Instead of rinsing it off, they wipe the suds with rags. This is horrible for the paint. If you decide to waste your money by having a machine wax, you'll leave with major swirls in you paint. Most of the guys working there are reasonably pleasant, but there's one guy with a bad attitude. If you ask him to re-wipe something he missed, he'll give you attitude and an evil eye. Simple, polite, and affordable. You pick the plan they clean your car and it won't cost an arm and a leg with the toes attached. Get all the nooks and crannies or just your interior and exterior dripped, dried, and wiped down. Polite attendants and cashier. Don't forget to bring some cash for the guys outside. Nowadays the hand car wash prices aren't cheap and the packages start from $24.99 (Ruby Wash), Emerald Wash $27.99, Diamond Wash $30.99, and Platinum $33.99 (see pictures). I come here once in a while but then I just remember that they have a free car wash on your birthday month if you are a member there. They are so generous that they let me choose the most expensive one. My car looks so clean for interior and exterior. They also did a good job of vacuuming. My local hand car wash has been closed and I decided to come to Diamond Bar Hand Car Wash to give it a try. MISTAKE. I've never been so disappointed with a car wash. Even the drive-thru ones are more thorough. The people appeared to be in such a rush although there were literally 2 others cars there with approximately 8 staff present in the back. Not only did they see me walking around my car still cleaning and scraping the poop that was not cleaned and just "overlooked" as well as trying to hook my interior mats back in place since they decided not to do that either. It wasn't until I got home when I went to hook my passenger mat that I noticed they carelessly removed it to vacuum because it's now ripped. I remember growing up in diamond bar, in the late 90s and early 2000s, Saturdays this place was packed. It's 1 o'clock in the afternoon and I just left there, there was maybe a total of nine cars. I go to Fullerton car wash off of Harbor when I want a off rack car wash, because they do an amazing job detailing it. I feel like every time I leave this car wash, I have to re-detail my car when I get home because they leave so many spots on the car, They don't pay much attention to detail, and if you want anything really done correctly, you have to tell them. I grew up in diamond bar, so I love supporting local businesses, but I don't think I'll ever be coming back here ever again. My truck was pretty filthy and i had a weekend trip the following day , so i thought id get a wash and wax. The wax was posted at 59.99 hand wax, but the attendant told me it was 10.00 extra for trucks and SUV's. I declined, but then he said he would discount the extra 10,00 which i appreciated and accepted. They were pretty fast with the hand wax and it was a huge improvement on my trucks finish. They cleaned the car from the outside, everything was fine but I specifically asked them to clean the inside because, a can of soda spilled in my car and it was soda all over my leather seats and panel and they didn't bother to clean it up. When I have the time, I usually do either a expensive car wash or regular wash at this place close to my house. It looked like it would rain that day and the appointment time was tight, so I only did the exterior wash for the first time. On a Friday (03/15/24 ) the weather looked like it was going to rain, so I just went to wash the exterior of the car. I asked if they would do a rain check, and they had told me yes, so I still had the car washed; it rained almost 2 hours later. When I went to do a rain check the following day, I was told that washing the exterior car was not allowed. I checked with the employees, when I asked the manager why I was given wrong information, it had to be MY responsibility to keep the promise; he firmly stood by this. I was so angry, it wasn't about money in the end, it is their responsibility to keep their words. I was upset that they didn't take responsibility for the promises they made. I know this because I've been in business for 40 years, understanding the opinions of customers is wise to have them keep coming back. I am always grateful for the employees working on my car and give tips of at least 50%. That day especially I paid $11 for the exterior car wash and paid $6 for the tip. Other times, I always paid more than $10 because I am so thankful for their hard work. I am so disappointed and angry that they did not consider my situation and was given wrong information by employees. Why is the manager there? Isn't it for them to correct the problem and reconsider the customer's opinion and situation on behalf of the owner? I don't understand some of the negative reviews stating they paid blah blah blah and didn't get cleaned something the owner spilled inside or other things. I think there's a misconception about the carwash and detail works. Carwash includes vacuuming not to detail your interior. If you expect them to really clean the inside of your car, pay for the Detail price. It's that simple. Another thing, inspect your car before you leave. Be a kinder human and a simple interaction with the staff goes a long way. Their workers will work with you. Note: Come here for the Early Bird discount special before 10 am between Mon-Thur. I've been using this business ever since we've moved to diamond bar in 2016. I came on a Tuesday at 04/13 around 3pm for a diamond wash and an interior detail. Cost me about 129.99. Unfortunately they didn't have time to do it that day so they said to prepay and just come back another day. I paid for a voucher and they even gave me a quick car wash too. I lost that voucher sometime during that evening and I called them explaining the situation the following day. They told me they remembered me coming the previous day and said that it was ok and just to come back for the detail. I had asked them to make a note next to a copy of the voucher and they said that they would. I come back about 14 days later and try to claim the detail and I explain to them the situation and what they have told me previously expecting it to go smoothly but unfortunately for me that wasn't the case. They said they couldn't find any information. So I opted just to do the diamond wash and take the loss. I'm not sure if that had to do with the fact that when they finished with that was my vehicle was still pretty rough disarray. Water marks in the front still dirt on the sides of the car. And the insides weren't even properly vacuumed. I had hope that this business would do right as far as the voucher was concerned especially since I already talked to them before but it is just infuriating that I had to go through all that trouble to expect that it was ok. But today was a first, the carwash wasn't busy at all and I did a little touch up on the below average drying job that was done. After about 10 minutes the dryer that did my job asked if I was done. Local car wash. It's a hit or miss as far as quality of work for the price. Sometimes they do a thorough interior cleaning, sometimes there will be missed spots for vacuuming or dusting. Sometimes windows are streaky. I've considered looking elsewhere based on the last couple times I've brought my car there. Lastly, the waiting area is so empty. THE WORST CAR WASH PLACE EVER BROKE MY WINDSHIELD EMPLOYEE ARE LAZY AND RUDE This place charged me $25 for a basic car wash and made me wait 45 minutes when they told me it was only going to take 20 minutes. The employees are very lazy, when I asked them to take care of the treesap, they told me "they couldn't do anything about it". When I got home, I found out the top of my car was still very dirty. They call this a hand wash! MOST IMPORTANTLY they broke my windshield, I'm pretty sure it wasn't caused by rocks, because it looks like there's some black ink within the holes. I even specifically told the person who took my car keys to clean the treesap on the windshields, so I know the holes weren't there before. I Overall, this is the worst place to go to for a car wash. I've been coming here since the first day that they opened, with all of the different cars that I have owned ever since. The reason for that is their convenience. Yes, their prices are expensive for what you get back in return. You have an option of getting an "express" wash, but that doesn't include vacuum service for $10 less. I cannot understand why a vacuum service costs $10 at all. ????? They do have a reward system offered if you sign up for it. You'll get a free wash after an "x" amount of washes, and a free wax after 3 waxes. You also get a free wash on your B-Day. An "express wash" does not get any credit under that program. My only 2 gripes consist of simple common sense. I know that common sense cannot be measured and it cannot be taught. You either have it or you don't. Other than my truck, I've always had cars with chrome exhaust tips. They are "there" and you can't miss them. So why is it that they never get cleaned in the drying area???? They blow the air out of the grooves and mirrors with an air hose, and they highlight the tires with the tire shine. How do chrome exhaust tips get missed every time? My other gripe is also in the drying area, which could consist of 5 lanes when they're busy. Common sense to me would be to put all trucks and SUV's in the last 2 lanes furthest away from the waiting area outside. That way, you can see your car getting the signal that it is ready and finished. Nope. These guys park the cars in the drying area as they come out of the wash as needed. A lot of times the first 2 rows have been nothing but trucks and SUV's, which blocks your vision in the waiting area. You can't see behind them, or over them, so you'll never know your car is ready unless you get up and walk over to that direction. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that has experienced this. Such little, subtle, adjustments like that could make a world of difference for their customers. Other than that, I will continue to patronize DBHCW. read more
