Parking was hard to find nearby, but I got a spot on JFK Blvd, just couple of minutes walk to the restaurant. Their menu is full of so many large size seafood dishes. We first started with the delicious oysters and clams. The steamed flounder was a flavorful fish, came with a large side of rice. The lobster Mac and cheese was a the best of all, filled with large pieces of lobster and excellent tasting Macs and cheeses. The restaurant is semi self serve. We had to go to the register to put in our order. They allow paying with credit cards now. All staff members were super friendly. We got a bunch of complimentary bread and butter. The dishes were prepared within short time and they brought them out to the table. After the lunch was done, they came to clean the table too. I also like that you can order a pitcher of soda or iced tea for the table, so you can refill your own drinks whenever you want. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the meal. We started with an order of mozzarella sticks (six to an order). For my entrée, I had the salmon with cheesy potatoes and applesauce, and everything was delicious. My only suggestion would be to add seasoned rice as a side option--I think it would pair really well with many of their seafood dishes. They use jersey tomatoes that are perfectly ripe. The scrapple is too thin for my liking. Hash browns are just ok. I did get a ham and egg special once that had a big thick piece of ham. I definitely recommend if it's on the special board.

My wife and I are originally from Pittsburgh and now live in Cape May Court House. We have always been big fans of Asian cuisine and knew exactly where to go "back home". We discovered Fai's about two years ago and it ranks with our favorite in our previous hometown and without a doubt is the absolute best in south Jersey. The staff is professional, very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The menu is well balanced, offering something for everyone and daily specials are always featured. The chef/owners go the extra mile to meet special requests that diners may have regarding preparation and seasonings. Ivy, one of the owners can always be seen making brief visits to tables to inquire about the food, insuring customer satisfaction. Lynn, our usual waitress is absolutely wonderful, making you feel as though you're eating at her home and never fails to remember favorites, likes and dislikes of her regulars. Some of our favorites are Salt and Pepper Calamari and steamed dumplings in spicy peanut sauce for appetizers; Shrimp with Garlic sauce, General Tso chicken and Kung Pao chicken for entrees. Very good wonton soup with light delicate wontons and great egg roll....ever have one of those greasy egg roll....not here you won't. and oh yes, excellent fried rice! We waited 40 minutes for a pick up We live 10 minutes away The food was dry and cold by the time we got home and wasn't ready so we waited to pick it up and left right away cause mom was hangry! Oh and no soy sauce or any other sauce packets that we requested We spent $45 at this place and I called to see if I could be compensated in any way and Ivy said I should order differently next time lol next time? Really? Thank the Lord I can take a joke ! But spending that money and throwing away food is not ok How about you learn how to make Chinese food This is why I don't order out !! Never had a bad meal here yet. I love the fact that they kept the ice cream shop, when they took over from the previous owners of Dock's. The wait staff is very friendly and remember you by name. (at least they remembered me) I come here a few times a month and I love the crispy cream cheese & crab meat dumplings! Yum! I always get an order or two. I recommend Fai's to anyone who asks for a good Chinese restaurant in the immediate area. Both take out and the dining room are quick and the prices are perfect. They have specials all the time and they even have more American-ized food for those not as adventurous. Love eating here! read more

Sadly Yelp reviews said this place went back to Dining In however this is Not True! Very disappointed as we drove out of our way. The service is awful. Very rude woman with a terrible disposition taking the orders. The menu is a mess. Almost every dish we ordered was no longer available. It is unclear if they have lunch specials or not... At least they have air conditioning on! SO for the 3rd time, we must eat our lunch in the car! Note that they charge 3.5% for credit card, higher than all the other businesses that are charging this extra fee. read more

Wonderful little place for take out, they have a few tables inside but not really good for big groups. They also have an ice cream parlor attached which is awesome cause when we are done my son can always get a nice treat!
