The food was hot and ready for pickup when I arrived. I ordered just one item--broccoli in garlic sauce--and it was very tasty. There was plenty of sauce, and the broccoli was cooked perfectly, not overdone. The portion was quite generous, enough for three large servings over the provided rice. We ordered the shrimp lo mein,chicken fried rice, and pork egg rolls. The best was definitely the shrimp lo mein, it was delicious. The chicken fried rice was not very good, my husband has made better. The pork egg rolls were about average. Overall, I would describe this Chinese food as very average, it satisfies the craving but isn't my favorite. The price was very reasonable. I saw you can also dine in here. Wanted something a little different for lunch today and decided to try this place after years of seeing passing it on the way to town we tried it out. We went for lunch it was take out only I'm assuming that's a lunch thing as they have seats and different hours for lunch and dinner. We got 3 different lunch specials and the food was excellent it came with your choice of fries or white rice and a veggie or reg egg roll. The lady was super nice and our door was out fast. Great place for a lunch. They had lunch special even its Sunday. They had little slow start. We were here at 12:20pm. They original told us that they are not open yet. 11:30 is proposed open time. No one was here, but I saw multiple people came to pick up orders. We were party of 15 and they were able to put table together. We ordered bunch of different things and they managed to get all the orders right. They also provided food containers for leftovers and they helped to pack it up, instead of leaving the container for us to pack. Service was top notch. I would recommend this place. They gave us fried chips to start with dips. They also gave out fortune to finish the meal. Everybody was happy and content with their food with no complaints. read more

Everything tasted super fresh and carefully prepared. Vegetable fried rice and pork in garlic Sauce were worth raving about. Service was efficient and friendly. Dine in BYO. And I may say every item I purchased tases as if it was cooked in yesterday's burnt grease! Mind you i purchased shrimp egg do young it even looked burned! First time ordering here in a while - total takeout - ordered shrimp fried rice, General Tso's white meat combo that came with fried rice and an egg roll along with dumplings in peanut sauce - the dumplings in peanut sauce I would not recommend as it tasted and looked awful - it was dumplings swimming/buried in liquified peanut butter - could not even tell you if the pork dumplings were good or not- general tso's combo was average. I have been coming here for years, whenever I am in Sea Isle area I stop here. All their food is good but omg they make the best dumplings!

Food was just ok. Kind of tasteless and egg rolls were dry. Not big portions. Sitting outside waiting for food last night made feel sad as I look at the building and remembered how much I loved Docs Custard and miss it. Building is not kept up very well and no more ice cream offered. Price of food was cheap. You get what you pay for. Employees were friendly. read more
