All this waste for only TWO dishes! 7 clamshells, 21 side containers, 7 sheets of tin foil, 2 plastic bags, 3 sets of plastic utensils.
    Genevieve F.

The food doesn't look bad, but looks are deceiving. It tastes like it's 3 days old and doesn't even have salt. I ordered two dishes, a grilled veggie rice bowl and steak fajitas. The veggies seemed steamed, not grilled. The rice did not have cilantro or lime as advertised. I was missing one of the beans. Tomatoes were mealy. The lettuce was iceberg. Everything tasted old and bland. I don't waste food so I added spices from my cabinet to make it edible. Despite only ordering 2 dishes, I received 7 plastic take-out containers, 21 "side containers" typically used for salsa and guacamole but they contained the beans and other main components of each dish, and a sheet of tin foil for each flour tortilla (7). See images for all the waste. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because when I called to ask if the beans and rice were vegetarian, the employee who answered the phone knew what vegetarian meant and went to find the cans of beans to read out their ingredients. In more than two decades of being a vegetarian, that level of service almost never happens. She also advised that I write in the special instructions section of my online order that I'm vegetarian and ask not to have cross contamination with meat. Fantastic service! Terrible food.

A must visit spot when I'm home visiting. A lot of open seating and outdoor as well. Fajita grill is like the subway of Tex mex. you can choose anything you want to top your food with. My go to is definitely the rice bowl with tons of veggies. It's usually fairly clean throughout the restaurant and the customer service is pretty good. The queso is to die for! If you get anything, get the queso!

If you've never heard of Fajita Grill then just picture Chipotle and you've basically got the same concept. Except that Fajita Grill has something that Chipotle is lacking, which is their famous queso sauce. Besides queso sauce they offer burritos, quesadillas, and rice bowls that typically come with a helping of chips and salsa. The servers at Fajita Grill are always friendly and never rush to make your food as in other chain restaurants. I usually always order the same thing whenever I go to Fajita Grill. My order consists of the chicken quesadilla with beans, chipotle sauce, and onions or peppers. This order brings a side of chips and I get the medium spicy salsa to go along with them. Additionally, I order a side of guacamole and queso (to smother my quesadilla in). All of this with a drink comes out to about less than $10 and I can never be able to eat the entire thing in one sitting. Just a note: There are only 2 Fajita Grill locations upstate: Fulton and Oswego county. If you happen to pass by either one on your way to Buffalo, Canada, or any other upstate town than stop in for a nice hearty meal.

Absolutely horrible. Had food poisoning from this place more times than I'd like to admit. Food is disgusting.

He spent 12 years in the casino Industry, then in 2014, started his first juice bar/acai bowl business Pure Raw Juice while living in Baltimore in 2014. He started two other restaurants in Delaware called Daily Veg before moving back top CNY and starting Whacko Gringo as a take out only restaurant serving out of a trailer. Whacko Gringo serves Mexican fair with a twist and acai bowls, and now has a full storefront which includes outdoor seating. Wife and I had passed by Whacko Gringo several times when they were in the trailer. We had always wanted to try it, the menu looked interesting and tasty, but it just didn't work out for one reason or another. They eventually got their storefront and we decided one day we were going to get out there and try them. We walked in pretty early on a Saturday, no one else in the restaurant. Just a couple small tables inside and a couple outside. I ordered the chimichurri beef tacos with rice and black beans, and my wife ordered a burrito bowl and a side of fresh pico and chips. Food seemed to take a while to be made, but it seemed like there were only 2 employees there. Employees were fine for the most part, but pretty indifferent to us being there. When we did get it, we were definitely disappointed. The meat in my tacos had good flavor, but other than that, everything was extremely bland, and my wife felt the same about hers. The pickled veggies, rice, beans, pico had no flavor, we mostly loaded them with hot sauce for some flavor. No salt on the chips, just a disappointing meal. We had high hopes and planned to go back to try more offerings, but we'd probably skip a return trip now.

That may not have been completely necessary but it was busy and it never hurts to have one. The location of the restaurant may be tricky if you aren't familiar with Baldwinsville. There is a fairly spacious lot in the middle of The Bville diner, the dollar general and San Miguel for reference. And San Miguel itself from the parking lot goes down a ramp or stairs to the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant itself stays true to the form of all the iterations that came before it, a good sized space with ample seating and in warmer weather there is some seating outside by the river. The booth we sat at had an unfortunate feature of being right under the heating and air conditioning and we were going from hot to cold depending on the heat going on and off. If you enter and go left and straight back to the corner, you may want to avoid that table until that can be adjusted. Most importantly the food and service were both incredible! Our server was fantastic and she took great care of us during a busy evening there. All the food was delicious and there were happy tummies all around. The jalapeno poppers were some of the best I've ever had. The main courses everyone either finished every bite or made sure to take the rest home. We all ordered our own dessert and again 4 happy sets of taste buds. If you can't tell what I'm getting at, it's that you won't be disappointed with whatever you get. Best Mexican ever, that's for you to decide, absolutely delicious, it definitely was. I highly recommend San Miguel and when you go, I of course, hope you enjoy!!

This place used to be a gem in the city of syracuse, and now it feels like understaffed mill of poorly made food robbing you of a decent meal from elsewhere. Staff seem light and completely overwhelmed, every time we are there. Can't be bothered with anything because they are handling too many tables. Maybe it'll be fine on an off night. Prepare to wait, and wait, and wait. Food... less said the better. For all the other Mexican restaurants in the area, this ranks at the bottom if not close to it. Stale chips and watery salsa on a Saturday night immediately brought expectations down for the rest of the meal, and it's been that way every time. The place looks like a dollar store dress up of a previous tenant. We deserve better

Last summer, the dining room was so hot that people took their dishes outdoor to the picnic tables to eat. Tres Primos has good food and lots of it so it's often very crowded at dinner time. We were fortunate to have come for an early dinner and were the only diners on a snowy day. Service is with a smile and the people that work here seem to enjoy each other's company and enjoy serving customers. The tables and chairs are the best, colorful with beautiful depictions of Mexico. For whatever you order, be prepared to have it served on a platter that's fit for a king, or in my case queen. Food is good and fresh. There is plenty to drink, including a variety of beers and cocktails . There's nothing like drinking a corona to top off a Mexican meal. I ordered what is really a sampler plate with a little bit of everything. I had a Chalupa, a quesadilla, tacos, and a member of other things. Of course, this comes complete with rice and beans. Needless to say, I had a second meal with the leftovers the following night. P.S., they have very good salsa that is served as soon as you were seated with your chips.
