I saw their advertisement on Instagram so today I caved in to get the goods The boyfriend got the pumpkin ice cream , it was so bold and thick like batter. I been to a bunch of local places that served pumpkin ice cream but unfortunately only seasonal however Fajji had it on the menu since March Most of all: the homemade taste was perfectly on point!! Stopped by Fajji's by accident and ended up finding a hidden gem! All of the ice cream is homemade there and they have so many options to choose from. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and definitely made us feel like home. The seasonal flavors were a hit, definitely try the corn ice cream if you get a chance... So delicious! I will 100% be returning to try more flavors. You won't be able to miss it if you are not from the area, it is a bright pink building! The ice cream is very good here. It's the kind of place that is worth going out of your way for. Although considering that they are right off 440 on the Jersey side of the Outerbridge a lot of people really wouldn't have to go out of their way to get ice cream from this wonderful little place. The young lady who served us obviously knows her ice cream and had wonderful recommendations. I had the coconut which was so delicious and refreshing. My wife had the strawberry cheesecake with big pieces of fresh strawberry and I tasted quite a bit of it and it was delicious. My son had cookies and cream and it was good but probably not what I would have ordered. I will definitely be going back even though I don't live anywhere near this place. found Fajji's on nj.com's list of NJ's best ice cream spots (https://www.nj.com/entertainment/2020/07/njs-best-ice-cream-the-35-sweetest-spots-around-the-state.html) & it was nearby so I had to hit it up. the article recommended the thin mint ice cream claiming that it tastes just like the real thing so I was really tempted to try it but being that it was such a hot day, I opted for the tropical-flavored ices. i ordered a medium with passion fruit & pina colada which came out to $4.50. both of the flavors were great but we unanimously voted that we liked the passion fruit the best. the medium was plenty for us (3 people), but granted we were also on a mini ice cream trip planning to hit up at least one other place after this one. the ice didn't melt quickly on us which is another plus. i will definitely be back to try the thin mint ice cream. there isn't a parking lot here and Fajji's is facing a pretty busy street, but there is street parking available. outside Fajji's there's 2 outdoor seating tables with umbrellas to keep the area shaded. read more

The ice cream is very decadent, dense yet soft, and overall flavorful. The owners take great pride in their product and rightfully so. There is a wide variety of flavors that have me excited to come back (thin mint, PB&J, pumpkin pie, mango, etc...) A minor concern I found was that the ice cream could be considered too sweet, but I'll attribute that to having it at 11:30am prior to lunch. They also have low sugar options and Italian ice. Good ice cream but NOT great. The storefront is like most ice cream stands, brightly lit and a large menu in sight. Fajj's offers a number of flavors but I honestly wish I could see the ice cream before picking( yes this makes a difference). I tried 3 flavors, cookie dough, fudge brownie, and sugar cookie rainbow. The overall consistency is that of a higher quality creamy texture, yet it could be sweeter. The sugar cookie was a bit Icey and the other flavors were better but not perfect. My main complaints are small tiny scoops and the poor quality of the spoons. Most ice cream spots are very generous in their scoops, Fajj's is very stingy and the difference in sizing makes me wonder if the price difference is worth it. The WORST is how easily the spoons bend! How can I enjoy my ice cream if I can't even spoon it to my mouth?! While this place does have better than average ice cream, your money will be better spent elsewhere. read more

Nothing great but it's okay. The ice cream is slightly above average but it had a lot of ice crystals. You can expect all the normal ice cream flavors and toppings. Don't expect creative flavors. The biggest disappoint was the toppings. I had hot fudge and caramel. I am pretty confident that they gave me grocery store fudge and caramel. BTW, hot fudge is supposed to be HOT. The lesson for the store owner is that when customers go to ice cream shops, they except an authentic ice cream experience.
