I have been to Z-Two twice now at this point after my doctor's appts on the Island. It is one of the few restaurants nearby at the small mall across the street from a big giant Target. We also always get the same waiter who is very nice and efficient - and it adds a nice touch to the dining experience when you see a familiar face all the time. From what've read, Z-Two was one of the merging eateries of 2011, second generation of Z-One, originated from a restaurant called Bulls Head. The hype was to provide food that has a dinning appeal of many menu options, big family portions with a friendly atmosphere and weekly entertainment. From the two times I've been to Z-Two, I it accomplishes these goals. The meals that we get are big and in a very friendly dinner environment. When I was in my first trimester of pregnancy two months ago, I could barely eat anything. I was sceptical of the salad I ordered, but it turned out to be one of the best salads I've had in a long time, and I devoured the whole thing. It was zesty, crisp, and the mixture of the salad was excellent. The second time around, I ordered a breakfast with eggs and home fries. It was delicious. The home fries were very creamy, it felt like it was cooked with ghee. I would definitely recommend Z-Two for a dinner-like experience! PS: I've not been to a night where they have entertainments but needless to say, I bet it's great! read more

The service here is always great. My waiters and waitresses have always been super attentive and made sure we have everything we need. It's spacious and we've never had to wait for a table. The burgers have been delicious. Last time, I got the Nutella waffles. The waffles were a tiny bit soggy rather than crisp, but the Nutella and strawberries kept them tasty. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We visited Z Two Restaurant & Lounge for a family lunch in June 2025. It was our first time there, though we live nearby. The interior is stylish and inviting, all the food we ordered was excellent, and the service was precise and attentive. It was somewhat pricey but that's the tradeoff for higher quality. We definitely recommend Z Two for great food served in a pleasant, well-designed atmosphere. Food ordered Z Two Appetizer Sampler Chicken Wings with BBQ sauce - excellent Crock Chili Bowl - excellent chili! Greek Salad Steak Fajita - sizzling and flavorful! I went today as I always do, for breakfast and to do some work on my laptop while eating. The "General Manager" came up to me and said he doesn't want me to come anymore because I don't spend enough money to sit there and work on my laptop. I sit in the bakery area, which is usually empty in the morning and work for a few hours while I eat my breakfast and sometimes lunch in the same day. No one has ever complained about this before and I've been doing this for months. I know the owner personally - Steve - and I know the other manager - Khaled. They've always greeted me with kindness. But this "General Manger" told me to leave today, while they were both out. The owner is currently out due to medical reasons. This "General Manager" took it upon himself to kick me out because he has a personal issue with me working while I'm sitting at a table while the place is practically empty, and I order two meals throughout the day. I even go back on the weekends with my daughter for brunch. Makes me wonder if he takes issue with my name. Erin and the other servers are amazing. Even the other customers who I've come to know are amazing. This particular white haired individual, however, is a farce of a human, and one of the servers was pissed that he asked me to leave, she admitted. What a joke of management. Went to an affair there. I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. The servers were great. And the room was nice. The heavens opened just as the party was starting. Unbelievable downpour! There were a few leaks in the patio area and water was flowing in under the door. The food was fantastic for the party I went to. The back room area is perfect for a get together. So definitely keep this in mind. It has a dance area and dedicated bar area. Speaking of the bartender, she was great. Friendly, fast, and made delicious drinks. They do need to fix the back area that leads outside. It rained and the back area started to flood. Last weekend my mom and I had a gathering of 42 people in a private room (booked ahead of time) at Z-Two. Z-Two had asked us if we wanted a limited menu or to allow people to choose anything; we selected the option to choose anything. Everything was amazing. Our waitress, Sabina, was perfect- not only did she somehow track what everyone ordered (right down to the no tomatoes for this dish, dressing on the side for that one, etc) but the food was excellent and piping hot as it came out. And everything came out at pretty much the same time. We were extremely impressed and grateful for the stress free afternoon. read more

Although I know how annoying this was because it was breakfast time, the staff was happy to make it for me. This place kind of sneaks up on you since I do not spend too much time in Staten Island. It is located in a plaza where there are a couple other food options. This is your typical diner with a big interior consisting of tables and booths. In true diner fashion the menu is 5 pages long and you can order anything you can imagine. I went simple with a yogurt parfait. It is served in a drinking glass which made it hard to eat but whatever. They also have smoothies which I found unique for a diner but it shows the modernization of them. They also have a small cafe attached where you can get coffee and a pastry. Cool place but you know with diners it is hard to get over 3 stars. FYI, you will have to show your vaccination card to sit inside. read more

I love coming here for breakfast/ brunch. My sister got the waffle, shown below. She said it was great, and it clearly looked great! I got the eggs Benedict which was good. The eggs were cooked perfectly but the Canadian bacon was fatty and slimy. I've never came here for dinner but the breakfast always seems to be pretty good. They are a little pricey in my opinion, my father ordered an orange juice with his pancakes and it was $5. FOR A SINGLE GLASS OF ORANGE JUICE. That's crazy overpriced in my opinion. This place was so packed, the were understaffed, but our server was amazing. They sat us in the desert section bcuz there was no tables. We sat for a while and the manger was asking to help our table, but they just looked at us and kept moving. The forth server was asked, and without any hesitation, she came over. She was super friendly and polite. She kept making sure everything was fine and got the order correct. The food was decent,large portions, and the price was good. I was very annoyed that people kept neglecting our table. But it worked out for us, we had the most amazing server. She was awesome and made the visit much better. We entered and were seated in the bar area to hear the live music. Friendly manager and waitress. Drinks were good. We ordered flat bread pizza and a dish that included pecan encrusted mahi mahi and stuffed sole. Food was good, not great. Atmosphere was nice and we felt welcomed and taken care of. Next time I would order something more related to a diner since I have had good burgers, fries etc from z 2. Slight complaint was that there was a 20% gratuity added to a bill with only 2 people. I almost missed it. I would have tipped 25% but was slightly annoyed at the practice so just left the already added tip. We'll try it again when they have live music read more

When I decided to indulge into a wonderful dinner with my relatives, the lady at the front desk was very rude. The lady in question was named "Angela". Angela was very rude to my family the whole time for no visible reason. Now I do understand that my family and I came in quite late around 11:45 pm on a Friday night but I still find her behavior quite inappropriate. But this isn't the first time it has happened. This same girl has been constantly rude with friends and family in the past. This girl needs to get fired so this establishment can be slightly better. I also would like to mention that the prices have gone insanely high. A burger here cost $35!!!!!!!!!! And it's not even that good. Also this place has disgusting bathrooms. I once when into the bathroom and saw poop on the floor and cockroaches all over the place. This establishment isn't going anywhere if they do not fix any of the problems I have stated. The service was HORRIBLE ! The waitress needs to get a brush up corse on customer service/waitressing she was RUDE, abrupt and did not even come back to see if everything was ok . I tried to engage a small conversation with her then received a snarky look .... Went here during a fundraiser, was cramped but waitress was attentive and did a great job getting everyone their food quickly. Had a gyro wrap- the meat and feta could've been better- it wasn't fresh, probably the frozen strips and the feta was more of a block than crumbles which I prefer but overall was good.
