The food, compared to other local Mediterranean spots, was just okay. I've been on the hunt for a flavorful, hearty Greek salad, and this one didn't quite hit the mark. The portion was minimal--barely enough to cover the bottom of a standard to-go container--and it was noticeably lacking lettuce. They also used green olives, which felt a bit off from what I'd expect. The salad came with small portions of hummus and tzatziki, but no pita or anything to pair them with, which I found odd--are people just eating those with a fork? We also ordered a chicken shawarma, and ironically, the lettuce I was hoping to see more of in the salad ended up in that instead--wilted from the heat of the chicken. This was my second visit. The first time, I ordered online and was hit with a bunch of extra fees since it's routed through DoorDash--even for pickup. Staff mentioned that I should avoid ordering that way in the future to save money, which raises the question: if you know the system you're using adds unnecessary costs, why not offer a better alternative? We were a bit surprised when we arrived to realize it was kind of a small place in a strip mall. You have to order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. I chose a combination kabob plate with chicken and beef, which comes with basmati rice, hummus, tzatziki, pita bread, and a small salad of lettuce, cucumber, and bell pepper. I was here on Sunday afternoon for lunch. My first time here to try their food and was excited to see what options they had since the reviews have generally been positive. The establishment is located in the smaller shopping plaza - so parking can be a little tricky if there are a lot of customers at the businesses. There are lots of seating options when I arrived, it was pretty busy and most tables were being used. I ordered the Lamb Salad with dressing on the side. I ordered a side of pita to enjoy with the salad. I informed them that I wanted to eat the food at the restaurant. My order did take some time (because of how busy it was) - about 15 minutes. They ended up putting the order in a to go bag, even though I wanted to eat there. So I had to unwrap everything and eat it there, had to ask for utensils. Had to take a star away because I did feel that they were quite busy and there was some miscommunication and time spent. I would come back again because the food was really good! Going in, it was very clean. There are plenty of tables, and a TV screen. At that time there wasn't anything showing. I ordered, and the man was very polite and even brought my food to my table! I ordered a combo plate since I was unsure of what to order and man, that packed a lot of flavor! I wasn't planning to eat everything, but I devoured the entire plate. The meat was cooked well and had a great combo taste of lamb, beef and chicken. That tzatziki sauce and hummus just put everything together. The rice was nice and fluffy and had a hint of lime. The pita bread was warm and soft. Since I was the only one in the restaurant, besides the two men working, wish there was some type of music in the background. Parking is a little tight, due to narrow parking design, small diner, hardworking men, kitchen is set up right where you can see them cooking everything. Smells delicious inside. Small, compact, anout 7 separate tables, but very tight, so you can hear everything and everyone talking. Very busy place, lots of pick up orders, the wait was about 30 min. Bathroom was ok, could have been cleaner. Tables were clean though. The food was delicious, the only thing that I wasn't too keen on, were the seeds I kept biting into and had to pick out from the top of the falafels and the eggplant. I don't like the feeling of biting into hot pepper seeds, plus they're super spicy! I could have done without. I love spice, but not when you have a mouthful of seeds you have to keep picking out. I heard about this new Mediterranean restaurant on Facebook Folsom Chat so wanted to give them my support. The location is in a very safe and clean part of town. The servers were very friendly and told me the place has been open for 1 month. I really enjoyed my lamb steak platter. I got the medium spice level and it was the perfect amount of heat. Very very good gyros and the two guys that work there are friendly. Their garlic fries were pretty tasty, Though they could easily be elevated by adding a dash of Parmesan and parsley. The baklava was moist and sweet. The Greek salad as part of a combo is pretty small and they don't add feta. It's iceberg lettuce, diced bell peppers, cucumber and a mixture of olives with a lite vinaigrette. It was good but with a little feta would've been a nice touch. I have a bone to pick with them about the Chicken Burger though. So, they advertise it is made with "grilled chicken" but they give you a breaded patty which has got to be fried. It tasted good but the top half of bun was bigger than the chicken patty. For $12 I would've rather gone to Dave's Hot Chicken or even Habit Burger to get a better fried chicken sandwich. I was expecting a skinless chicken breast and got something different. I just won't be ordering that again. I'll try other stuff on the menu and report back. read more

My husband and I finally decided to try this place and it did not disappoint. They have a great menu and even a good kids menu. I got the falafels and my husband got the chicken gyro. The falafels were delicious and my husband said it was the best chicken gyro he's ever had. The service was great. I accidentally misread the menu and only got the 8pc falafel instead of the plate which comes with rice.
