Falafel Corner is my favorite place to eat, as you can tell I come here often. The place is a hidden gem, many people don't know that it exists because of its location. I like to get the combo platter with chicken/ gyro because it's fills me up and I always have leftover for later. This place is always good. The service is pretty quick and always friendly but the food is what gets the stars. It's consistently good. I've tried a bunch of spots and they have the best chicken wrap in the area. My son likes the falafel and my wife always gets one of the platters. We are trying the rice bowls for the first time today and I think they are a 'W' as well. The portion size is a good value for the cost. They have plenty of seating inside and outside and it looks clean. In the evening when I go it's usually pretty empty. It's has a typical fast casual feeling but we always take it to go. I'd also ordered a side of fries, Baklava. There was supposed to be some turkey something as an added bonus for adding my photo. However, I had to complete my order within five minutes. Guess I missed that boat. Fries were delivered hot and were decent. I was disappointed with the Baklava. It was stale, dry and I felt too small for $2. I wandered in with two friends on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly Manager (Harris) and Owner(Ausaf) ,The place had incredible aroma of Chicken ,rice crunchy falafel and burger patties. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 7:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table. I ordered the Double cheese burger which turned out to be the best burger I have ever had, it had 2 fresh well done patties drenched in their secret secret sauce, tomato , lettuce and onion. It also came with crunchy seasoned fries and complimentary baklava desert which made that a perfect meal. Also my friends ordered Falafel platter and combo platter which was great too. Will definitely go back! Falafel Corner, is one of the newer restaurants to open in Roseville, and as the name suggests, it specializes in falafel, but also servers platters, wraps, appetizers, and even burgers! Mediterrenean cuisine meets "Americana" at Falafel Corner, located in Roseville, CA. As you enter the restaurant, you'll be greeted by friendly Mohammed, and you'll note the menu, above the counter. There are printed menus, which you can take home with you, if you prefer, as the restaurant is happy to cater events, and in these coronavirus times, does a brisk take out business. Falafel Corner operates on that I call the "taqueria format" as you make your selection from the posted menu, pay for it, and when your order is ready, your name will be called, or one of the staff will bring to order to you. Note the open kitchen in the background. From the "Platters" section of the menu, I went with the "Combo Platter," as it included everything that I love, and it seemed like a good place to begin at a new restaurant. The menu describes the "Combo Platter" as "Chicken, gyro, salad, rice, salad, tzatziki, humus, pita bread. Quite a simple description, and the menu doesn't that it includes dessert! I describe the "Combo Platter" as simply delicious... Let's start with the showcase of the platter: Chicken and gyro. The gyro was marinated, grilled to perfection, and cut into thin slices, in the style of Greece. I didn't see a vertical rotisserie in the kitchen - I didn't ask - but the meat is grilled to perfection, tender, slightly spicy, and simply delicious. I can say pretty much the same about the chicken, as it was marinated, grilled, slightly spicy and was so tender that it practically melted in my mouth. Falafel Corner doesn't skimp on meat, as my "Combo Platter" included a mountain of meat, and a small cup of tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping, and more with the chicken. The chicken and gyro were placed on a bed of Mediterranean style rice, with some pilaf mixed in, and a helping of creamy tzatziki sauce was placed on the rice, and separated the chicken from the gyro. Not only did this add to the taste sensation, but it added to the amazing presentation! The salad was very simple, as it was only lettuce, sliced tomato, onion, and a few slices of red cabbage to add pzazzaz and texture. The salad was fresh, delicious, and didn't need any dressing, as a sprinkling of pepper, which came with the salad, did the trick, and made the salad delicious. I'm a lover of all things humus, and my platter included a small helping of humus, drizzled with melted butter, and sprinkled with paprika, which made for an outstanding side dish to the meal. Oh the pita bread! I am an absolute lover of grilled pita bread, and Falafel Corner didn't disappoint me, as my meal included a whole grilled pita bread, cut into for slices, and perfectly grilled, complete with grill marks. The bread was fresh, hot and delicious, and really complimented my fantastic lunch. For dessert, the platter included a small square of baklava, which is a very popular dessert in the greater Middle East. The foundation was a base of sweet dough, felled with prune filling, honey, along with chopped nuts, and on top of that, there was a flaky crust. Such a sweet and delicious way to end an amazing meal! I have nothing but great things to say about my "Combo Platter" that I enjoyed! The "Combo Platter" makes every Mediterranean dream come true, as it's filled with everything that you could wish for in a delicious platter! You'll love the amazing cuisine, and you'll leave fully satisfied, as Falafel Corner dishes out generous portions. The food is amazing, and the staff is as friendly as it gets. I'd give this amazing restaurant 5 stars, but for one little detail: The restaurant is "dry," as it doesn't even serve beer. I almost took the "high road" and went with 5 stars, but I certainly enjoy a beer with my meal. Switched it up today! Normally we get the Habit burger in the same plaza. Gentleman inside guided us to the burgers as we were very hungry from the gym. I ordered the badmash burger and a quesadilla with gyros (+$2.50 to add meat). Altogether I was fairly full! The badmash burger comes with an incredible amount of sauce. Almost a little too much lol. If I were ever to go back I would most definitely ask for a lighter application because this thing was dripping like crazy all over the quesadilla. I liked the egg and beef bacon in the burger. It really does pack a punch. The quesadilla was a little disappointing and the primary cause of my 3 star review. I would avoid. This thing was so darn greasy that I could feel my body hating me for consuming. Just being honest, the styrofoam had that neon orange from the grease. Not much meat packed in either, not enough to warrant paying extra. All in all I was satisfied but from a price point of ~$20.50 to get me full I could've eaten for less at most of the places within the plaza. If the menu items were just a little bit cheaper it could incentivize people like me to tip heavier. The guys in there are working hard but charging such a high price makes it hard to tip. As a supporter of halal foods I feel like I have to be brutally honest because these guys have a lot of competition and they need to make only slight adjustments to be killing it.
