So, I must have passed this place a hundred times, and never stopped in to eat. Now I really regret it! The food was tasty, the service was really polite and attentive. I've been coming here for at least ten years. It's an authentic falafel like what you would find in Jordan or Egypt. Many other items on the menu; schwarma. Kebab, they even have hamburgers (I wouldn't order one, when you can have a great falafel. To each his/her own. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the loving care that goes into everything. The falafel take a couple days of prep from the chick peas to final product. Stopped here on our drive up north. I had seen the mixed reviews online so was a bit nervous since i brought the whole extended family but the food was for us a 10/10! The falafels were hit and crispy and perfect! The star of the meal however was the hummus! Having eaten hummus growing up in the middle east and traveled to Egypt, this hummus reminded me and my parents of the ones we used go always eat! Perfectly creamy, well balances flavors with the picked vegetables on top - YUMM and the pita was perfectly fluffy and warm and it honestly felt like being back home! This place is pretty below average. We stopped here for dinner on our way back from a day hike in Point Reyes on a Saturday night. Staff was missing at the counter. We ordered a few wraps and a salad. Meats in the wraps were cold and the salad was just pretty much lettuce. Water dispenser was out of water which no staff bothered to refill. Table was dirty and we had to ask them to clean. The air conditioner was off so it was very hot inside the place. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I was thinking "where can I work that's pleasant, not too busy and good food?" - this was it. They ARE busy with a lot of takeout and patrons outside on this beautiful day. One and done for me. My daughter and I stopped by for an early dinner, the place had just opened for the evening and there was one guy in line behind us. Ordered a couple of wraps. She asked for no tomato, we both asked for hot sauce on the side. When the food came out, I got mine and the guy who ordered after us got his. There was just one young guy working the counter and grill but still, three orders shouldn't be that hard to manage. Her food finally came, mine was barely warm by then. Neither of us got any hot sauce, and she got the tomatoes even though she asked for no tomato. It too was delicious. Offered as a wrap or classic pita pocket style I chose later. Nicely put together with tangy pickles, lettuce, tomato, olives, and herbs, and that wonderful hummus. The only thing I would change is to use a little less hummus. It was a bit messy to eat and the second half was falling apart near end. It seems to be a family that runs place. I placed my order online at 6:57pm through their website for a shawarma plate & pistachio baklava and it said it would take 10 minutes. I arrived about 5 minutes after I placed my order so I checked in and found a seat. While I sat I watched as a young child without shoes was playfully in and around the kitchen space playing with her father. I watched one of the people bagging food etc (I presume childs mother) eating bites of food from somewhere with her fingers right there on the line where they prepare the foods for orders and she did not step away nor did she wash her hands. She simply continued on preparing others food. I did not receive my food until 7:42pm. Absurd! No acknowledgment of the extensive wait. Entree - 0/10 My order was supposed to have xtra white sauce & red sauce. I open it and there is no white sauce, the meat is cold, dried out and tastes clearly very old. The few bites I took were chewy with sinew - really quite awful. My cucumber salad had two cucumber chunks that were clearly and visibly rotten. Everything sat atop overcooked, clumped together, unseasoned yellow rice. This meal was completely inedible. Trashed. Dessert - 0/10 I was charged $4.35 for a piece of baklava that is so unreasonably small I struggled to find something to compare it to - see photo, a McDonalds ketchup packet is larger - The baklava was placed in a bag so haphazardly that the top with crumbled pistachios wasn't salvageable as it was stuck all over the bag. For the amount of time I waited and paid, this is completely unacceptable and I could not be more unhappy about this meal. I tried contacting the restaurant before posting this review. I was really looking forward to this but I guess I had the wrong expectations. I was wanting a gyro. When I asked the young lady at the register for the beef and lamb gyro she looked confused. I guess it's called a wrap. There is a sign right behind her that says Gyro but oh well. I ordered the beef and lamb wrap with fries. Took it home, I live just a block and a half away. Oh, if you check in on yelp you get a free baklava, which was pretty good. I get home and the meal looked inviting. The fries were really good, nice and crispy. I bite into the wrap and the meat was so very dry. There really was no flavor to it. Even the hot sauce they give you isn't hot at all. The real issue I had was there was a piece of what is probably tendon in each half of the wrap. Biting into them was really gross. Def not bones but it was a huge turn off. The young lady at the register was great. Nice friendly service. But I will not return here. Be careful when you chew. read more
