Ordered ahead for pick up: an order of cheese sticks and a medium vegan pizza, one order of cauliflower wings and one order of regular wings. It was Super Bowl Sunday but the order only took 30 mins. The pizza shop is located in a small location within a larger plaza, so parking isn't an issue but there are only 2-3 booths inside to eat. Staff has always been wonderful, helpful with questions, and generous with the crushed red pepper and vegan Parmesan cheese.

My pizza's bottom did stick to the box but only 2 out of the 8 slices did. I got pizza for takeout so I can't expect it to be perfect and for it to steam a little in the box makes sense. Overall, I think I found my local pizza place in PR. Why go anywhere else when I'm pleased and the ease of ordering is great?

Phone service was horrible. Called and lady on phone kept saying to hold on and put me on hold for at least 5 min. It took me 3 calls to try and finally get my ordered placed. Once it was sent my husband to go pick it up. And mind u once he got there they weren't even busy. They didn't give me the meatballs I ordered and the pasta I got tasted like shit. No flavor and just mush. I call to get a refund and the same girl answers and I explained the situation she puts me on hold for another 5 min to tell me they can't give me my money back. I said why wud I pay for something that's disgusting and that I'm not gonna eat? She puts me on hold again for another 5 min and then says they can give it to me. The whole time she sounded like she didn't know what she was doing. What sucks is on the reciept they don't show u exactly what u pay for. When my husband goes they give him just 10$ for the pasta not even the tax included and he denied to show proof to my husband that we weren't charged for the meatballs. When I was a shift manager there from 1971 to 1973, it was the absolute best pizza I had ever tasted or made. It's sad to see the current ratings, and I hope they're edge cases. Al Falcone was a great guy to work for, and his entire family was delightful to know. The girls were there often, doing homework in the scullery, and were well behaved and sweet, a testament to the kind of parents they had. I'm sad to see that the Tamarack Inn next door is gone; it was an excellent spot to relax after work, even though I wasn't old enough to drink. It was a pleasure to stop by for an informal meeting with Al and Johnny Barrow once in a while. I do wonder, though, if the place is still owned by Al's family, or the current poor reviews are a result of another, less particular owner is now in charge. read more

He's a toddler, embarrassed, covered in vomit, and I was trying to manage the situation as best as I could. I immediately notified a staff member, who initially told me it was okay. I took my nephew to the restroom to clean him up. When I came back out, the same staff member approached me and said, "Excuse me miss, I put the napkins on the table for you. Can you please help clean it up? Sorry." This was said while I was holding a pizza box in one hand and a sick toddler in the other. Trying to be understanding, I told him I would. I took my nephew to the car, changed his clothes, and returned to clean up the mess only to find nothing there. When I asked the woman at the front, she responded with an attitude: "We already cleaned it." I apologized and explained I had to change my nephew, and she gave no response at all. The lack of compassion and basic customer service was disappointing. Families have children, and children get sick. How a business treats people, especially those who can't offer them anything more because they've already paid, is just as important as the food they serve. The pizza may be good, but after this experience, I won't be returning.
