Personal size pizza with pepperoni.

Pops was in the mood for pizza but wanted moms n pops pizza spot. I called the on Yelp and decided to give this spot a try. The young lady "Lucy" answered the phone and was really nice after letting her looking for personal size pizza for my dad and suggested the six slices with pepperoni. Also explained my dad is diabetic with cancer which they had unsweetened tea and can put in the fridge will be nice n cold when i picked up. She said come by it will be ready in 20 minutes after arriving Lucy was so nice so customer friendly the spot has few tables with TV's and had the Dodgers game on yay. Well the real test pops are two slices and said that was done good pizza . Definitely give this spot a try the staff is awesome.

I like the pizza here especially on Wednesdays and Sundays when they have a special for Jumbo size (18") specialty pizzas. My favorite is the "supreme" pizza. It is filled with lots of toppings. Excellent pizza. This place is located on a busy street. There is a small "green zone" for people to stop briefly in front of the restaurant and run in to pick up their food. There is also a small parking area in back of the restaurant. But it is not easy to find a space. I recommend bringing someone with you when you go pick up your food from Jay's. Someone can run in to get the food while another person wait in the car. I highly recommend ordering food in advance since there is no place to dine in. And the wait can be long when they are busy. They have daily specials. I will be coming back to try other items.

Support local small business, reasonable prices, good taste & flavors, large portions. Large 1 topping, 12 wings 2 different flavors & a side for $35 w tax. Can't beat that!

What's up: Was scrolling through UberEATS to figure out what to grab for dinner and saw that Jay's Pizza had a bogo deal on their pizza. Figured it was a good reason to try them out. Parking: Street parking on the busy Garfield Ave. They have a green curbed portion right in front of their store for pick up but can be hit or miss. Environment: I placed my order online and had a short wait when I arrived at the store. The pizzas came out hot! Plates, cheese, and peppers are provided on request. Staff members were friendly. I gave them my name, grabbed the pizzas, and was off. Fast and simple! What was ordered: - Large Pizza with Sausage (yum) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Not only was the pizza good, the bogo deal made it even more awesome. Plenty of pizza for dinner and more. Depending on how busy the area is, you might need to walk a bit for parking. Credit cards are accepted.

If you're living in or just passing through the northern side of Montebello to visit the Top Golf then Jay's HAS TO be the spot you hit for pizza! I'm a long time patron whether they know it or not. I live in the area and have returned to, and recommended Jay's countless times. My favorite thing about their pizza is quite honestly the dough they use for the crust. It's soft, tastes like fresh baked bread and is irresistibly dippable in whatever sauce you get. Oh, and there's of course the toppings that go on the crust! The cheese? Sharp and stretchy. It's firm and melty. The toppings are always good, I've had just about everything they offer and have never had anything bad. The wings they offer are on the bigger side and have always been perfectly coated and cooked. I've never had dry or skimpy wings from Jay's. Their service is impeccable and they always have a good attitude. Their dining area is warm and spacious. They have TV's. Parking is street parking and there's usually plenty of space to park in the front. I will continue to eat here and recommend it to friends and family.

Love to support a local small business. Pizza was hot and super fresh out of the oven. Ingredients taste simple and high quality. The wings were delicious, generously coated in sauce.

Sausage and mushroom. Skimpy on the toppings and it was all in the center. The part near the crust didn't have anything on it.
Dan K.

Pizza was decent but was skimpy on the toppings (sausage and mushroom) and had major flopage. And why were most of the toppings in the middle of the pizza. The third near the crust didn't have any toppings.. Not sure I'd order again

Lemon Pepper well done...soooo good!
Eddie V.

Not just their pizza, which is good...But, the wings are awesome!!! Especially on Sunday and Wednesday deals...

I ordered Jay's on DoorDash out of pure laziness being that I am a five minute drive away. I ordered a combo pizza. Solid, utility pizza. Right amount of dough thickness. Cheese is enough, though I wouldn't have minded a little more. Toppings were solid quality. Pizza sauce was the right amount and had a nice flavor. Pizza was prepared fast and the delivery came on time and the pizza was still warm. I'd recommend the pizza at Jay's.

Military discount olive oil instead of red sauce?

How many slices do the jumbo and monster sizes have?

I would say jumbo had 14 slices, so the monster has 28 slices. Just guessing.

How many slices is the Monster pizza? And how many people do you think 1 feeds?

What's even crazier is that I've been a diehard bone-in/traditional wings believer, but bb.q Chicken's boneless wings converted me to the dark side. In fact, I will shamelessly admit that I only ever order their boneless wings here after having tried them. Unlike other places' boneless wings, which use dry white meat (an absolute abomination IMHO), bb.q Chicken uses actual dark meat and are actual "boneless wings." The Cheesling flavor is to die for. Get the limited time Buldak Cheesling flavor for a special spicy kick. If you want an alcoholic drink with your chicken, I suggest sticking with beer or bottled soju. Their soju cocktails are pretty weak and have a strange pre-mixed flavor to them.

The name is peculiar for what they serve but it's very easy to remember. Come to find out bb.q stands for " best of the best quality". I usually order takeout, and have never dined in. I love how sturdy the packaging is, it comes neatly packed in cute cardboard boxes. The food is always consistent, and I have never had a bad experience. My go to flavors are: Spicy original-- crispy crunchy with a hint of spice Cheesling--- A dry rub nicely dusted with their house cheese powder and a hint of sweetness. Gangnam style-- Wet seasoning with a savory and sweet soy forward taste, with a strong pepper flavor. You'll also get pickeled radish cubes, which provides a refreshing compliment to the strong flavors of the chicken. This place never disappoints.

Joining the waitlist online once you are close by saves so much time and makes the entire experience so much smoother. If you are coming here for the first time, there are three absolute must-order items. The Curry Laksa is spectacular, featuring a rich, aromatic curry broth that is packed with authentic spice and flavor, along with a wonderful variety of ingredients loaded right into the bowl with the noodles. Their Hainan Chicken is hands down the best I have ever tasted! Even though the portion size is on the smaller side, the quality more than makes up for it. The meat is ridiculously soft, tender, and juicy, and the savory sauce served alongside it is top-notch. Finally, the Roti Canai is an absolute essential that you simply cannot skip. It comes out piping hot, with a flatbread that is perfectly crispy and flaky on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired with a rich curry dipping sauce. Everything here tastes amazingly authentic, and the incredible flavors truly transport you straight to Malaysia. I am so glad I finally made it out here, and I will definitely be back soon!

It was my first time and I wanted to try the chicken rice and laksa, and the char kwa tiew. Unfortunately they have an afternoon menu that doesn't include the latter two dishes. The chicken rice was just okay for me, the chicken was bland and the sauces a bit bland as well. I prefer Savoy and Cluck to Go. The Kaya toast simply tasted sweet with no distinct pandan flavor so that was disappointing as well.

I was interested in this place because I really miss KFC in China. The menu outside looks like it…read morewas copy-pasted from a Chinese McDonald's or KFC, with even the same menu item names in Chinese, like the McSpicy and New Orleans chicken sandwich. I've seen people describe restaurants as "no-frills," but this place takes it to the next level. The tiny "dining room," if you can call it that, has a single table with 4 chairs, and there is a standing table by the window with a single stool. There is a tablet where you can order and parts of the "dining room" are used for storing restaurant supplies like utensils, and there are two industrial refrigerators full of chicken marinating. At least there's air conditioning. This place is primarily a takeout operation, and my friend and I were the first two dine-in customers today. The parking lot is a bit hidden in the back and is quite tiny, but again, we were the only dine-in customers. The old lady (seemingly the owner's mom) was very sweet and had me use the bathroom by going through the kitchen. You can see the whole operation, I guess. Despite the very... utilitarian dining room and somewhat cumbersome layout,, the food was excellent! Among all the different Chinese KFC clones that have been opening up the past few years, this is the closest to a Chinese KFC chicken sandwich. The chicken filet was thick, crispy, and juicy, and the bun was toasted to perfection. The owner even gave us some fries on the house, which were impressively crispy without being hard - almost as if they were fried in tallow. They probably were, but I'm not sure and forgot to ask. The egg tart almost had the taste of the KFC's authentic Macau egg tarts (they bought the OG recipe, so) but lacked sweetness. The texture was on point but even as an Asian, it was not sweet enough. Compared to Macho Burger, at $10.99, you get an additional can of Pepsi and an egg tart for $1 compared to just the chicken sandwich at Macho Burger for $10. Pretty good value. Amusingly, we were provided plastic gloves, the type you would often get at fried chicken places in China, despite ordering sandwiches. As my friend and I were enjoying our lunch, there were several takeout orders and orders picked up by delivery drivers. It seems that this place is fairly popular despite the lack of dine-in customers. I'll probably get my next order to go as well.

I wanted to use my card but he said it's not working so I had to pay cash. I only ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich as he told me that was the most popular item. Cons: The interior needs a revamp as it is not appealing at all and makes you want to turn around and leave.
