I had trouble deciding on what to eat for the night and had to pick up dinner for the family. We chose pizza and I did a phone order. We ordered the largest size pizza (Bigfoot) and the toppings we was half pepperoni and half pepperoni/ anchovy. Both are salty toppings, but I personally love the briny flavors or anchovies. I found the price point as good , pizza crust was crunchy, sauce was lightly sweet and the cheese was just right. I think I found my new pizza parlor now.

I remember trying their West Covina location years ago so I was very stoked when I found out there was one near East LA. I don't really remember the taste and quality of the West Covina location but this location was really good. I got the large pizza and buffalo wings. The pizza was so good but definitely favorited the wings, cooked perfect and not too saucy or dry, just perfect. Would recommend

Good lil pizza joint to order for pick up! Ordered 2lg pizzas, 12wings with a side of pasta at a great price! The pasta is small size so if you're feeding 4 I suggest ordering 2 but still a great deal! The service was good when ordering and the place was clean! Enjoy!!

I'm not an official pizza aficionado Driving one I noticed it on the corner I stopped in and ordered my favorite Large pizza, pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives and jalapeños Absolutely perfect It's only been about a month and a half And I've been there multiple times I took my family and they loved it as well Jessie is a manager and his staff are absolutely phenomenal I ordered the 24 piece wings almost every time Also great Wingstop is across the street But they're so corporate is not funny I live about 5 miles away, and there are many pizza places on the way But I always end up at Redwood Pizza and wings Once you find a place you stick to it Worth a drive just to hang out and eat a good pizza

The mashed potatoes were incredibly soft, creamy, and full of flavor. We ordered the Margherita pizza and a cheese pizza for the kids, and both were delicious. The pizzas were cooked in a wood-fired brick oven, and you could really taste the difference. The carbonara was one of my favorite dishes. It came with an egg yolk on top that you mix into the pasta, making it rich, creamy, and flavorful. The lobster linguine was another standout dish. We also ordered the pork wings, which were so tender they practically fell off the bone and were served over delicious mashed potatoes. The mushroom ravioli was unique, comforting, and packed with flavor. We also shared the ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly and was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. What really made the experience special was the service. The owner regularly stopped by to check on our table and make sure everything was good, and everyone working there was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and every dish tasted like it was made with care and love. This was one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time, and we'll definitely be back!

The meatballs were flavorful, tender, and a great way to kick off dinner. The pork wings, though, just weren't for me I'd pass on those next time. The arugula salad was fresh and balanced, and we paired everything with a couple of IPAs, which hit the spot. For the mains, the Carbonara was rich, creamy, and exactly what you'd expect from a comforting pasta dish. The standout of the night was the Amatriciana pizza easily my favorite. Crispy crust, great flavor, and one of those pizzas you keep reaching back for. Overall, if you're looking for a local Italian spot for a relaxed Sunday family dinner, this place is worth checking out. Good food, cozy atmosphere, and enough highlights to bring us back. Solid 4 stars.

What a creamy and flavorful pasta dish! I noticed a family owned Italian restaurant located next to…read moreSummerfield and finally found the opportunity to try it. They use the same parking lot as Summerfield so it can get busy at some times. I called in to place an order for dinner and it was super easy and convenient. I ordered their Di Pilla Special pizza and a medium Parpadelle special pasta. The total for these dishes came out to be $62. Their portions are quite large since they're a family style restaurant. They also gave us complimentary bread which tasted amazing! I will say that I felt really heavy and full after this meal so this is definitely a cheat meal type of food. Food: Parpadelle Special Pasta (9/10): The noodles are huge and thick and the sauce gets absorbed perfectly. There's mushrooms, spinach, chicken with a white sauce base. They loaded this dish up with sauce which was heavenly. I even dipped my complimentary bread in the sauce because it just tasted that good. The chicken was so soft and wasn't overcooked at all. Between a family of three, there was a perfect amount and didn't have any leftovers. Di Pilla Special Pizza (9/10): Wow, the amount of toppings? Insane. We ordered the medium size which is a 14 inch. There was pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, hamburger, and bacon. I had to go back to their menu to see what toppings there were because wow was there a load full. I thought that the mushroom and bell pepper did overpower most of the slice. We had so many slices left over because of how full each slice makes you. I had it the day after and It was still tasty. I need to come back and try their other menu options. They have so many options to choose from which gets overwhelming because everything sounds amazing!

Loved that it had some classic dishes and some fusion ones as well. Came on a Friday night and joined the waitlist but only had to wait about 10 minutes! There was complimentary bread and a side salad that came with the entrees, and the bread was warm and delicious... We ordered the two Allegro specials on the menu-- Uni pasta and Bolognese. For appetizers we went with the server's recommendation; chicken gizzard confit. Chicken gizzard confit was mind blowing. As someone who enjoys things like gizzard, these were cooked in a way I had never had before and it was delicious. The uni pasta was sooo rich, creamy, and flavorful. 10/10 I would recommend it. The bolognese was good too it was super complex compared to the ordinary bolognese and had eggplants as well. Overall, the ambience was great and experience was amazing. Service was also very good and attentive. Super great spot for a date night or just a casual dinner with friends!

Once step inside, the decoration, the vibe totally changed. It's a dark hue with humbling yet elegant setting with a bar table and I almost felt like a dining in the cave ambiance. The menu was not complicated and only focused on pasta, but there are so many choices to my liking! The squid ink, the mentai cream, the uni sauce, and the garlic butter sauce. We ended up settling with Creamy Crab Gratin, mentai cream pasta, the Pescatore Bianca (seafood spaghetti), and Tarako Spaghetti (Cod roe and squid garlic butter sauce). -Crab Gratin is really creamy and cheesy. I just didn't quite get why there are a few pieces of penne pasta inside. But overall tasted good! -All pasta comes with bread and salad. The salad is really fresh and serve mostly lettuce and cherry tomato, which is how I like it. The dressing is not the ranch creamy kind, more cloudy vinaigrette based, also to my liking. -Seafood spaghetti came with a variety of seafood, shrimp, squid ring, mussels, clams, etc. The portion is huge. -Mentai cream pasta: delicious! I think if I order uni pasta, it'll be the same cream base sauce but with uni and $6 bucks more. I'm happy with my choice. The whole dish is consistent, creamy with a slight kick from the mentai, slices of mushrooms and shredded seaweeds on the top. Delish! -Tarako Spaghetti: I took a small bite and appreciated the strong taste of garlic butter in the sauce. -All 3 pasta are served with the thin spaghetti like angel hair. Service is ok, we asked for water refill and the response was polite. Dirty dishes were taken away timely. If I had more time, I would definitely come back for a second visit. A place like this deserves to be in a more upscale block on the street. Btw, parking inside the plaza is not free even though it's just a strip mall. Expect about $8 bucks for dinner parking. It's gated entrance. If you get lucky, you can park on the street and pay the meter.

Good food and the workers are chill. Owner is great too…read more My experience today: I was the second person in when 4 people walked in at approximately 11:33 am. I work a couple minutes away so the drive there is quick which is perfect for my 30 minute lunch break. I tend to either order my food ahead of time so it can be ready and I just pick it up and go or I drive somewhere where I know it's quick and easy because they're not busy or because they have specials ready to pick up. Anyways, After we (the 4 people) walked in ....no one else came in, so it wasn't crazy with a line. I usually come in and get the 2 slice special. Wait is usually nonexistent since the slices are literally ready to put in a box. I was helped by another guy today (black beard, black shirt ) and felt there was no urgency from him during the " lunch hour". The pace was the same if there were 100 people or 1 of us. He took my order I sat down, he helped someone else then someone else then he shuffled some papers and got distracted by a little girl yelling across the street while waiting at the bus stop, then he headed to the back to do whatever and then came back out and answered the phone which is when I walked up and asked for a refund. I waited for a min and he noticed me then started getting the box ready for my slices and I told him to just give me a refund. He asked another guy to come over and he returned my funds back to my card and I kept the receipt and he apologized. I attached the receipt to show the time when I finally walked out 11:43 am 10 minutes after my order for two slices ready to go only a step away from the cashier. I never even got the soda cup to sip on while I waited. I may or may not return. If I do return and I see the gentleman in the black shirt that helped me today I'll just walk out. Most likely I won't be returning off this ONE experience. Do I recommend the food ? Yes Is the staff nice and attentive? Yes, Most of them Make what you want with this review but this was my experience today. I would've put this at a 4/5 review based of my past experiences but today made me drop it to 3/5. Hope this restaurant does well. I know it's hard for businesses to exist with the current economy which would make you think people should be thankful for their jobs and their income. Put a smile on, talk to the people coming in and put a little pep to your step when the lunch hour starts. Best of luck Tony's Italian delicatessen

We had the seafood pasta which was very tasty. The sauce has plenty of flavor and kick, and there is a lot of fresh seafood provided, including mussels and shrimp. Also had the lamb chops, which is one of their most popular dishes, and I can see why. The lamb was cooked perfectly, soft juicy, super easy to eat. I loved that there was chimichurri sauce provided on the side and it went well with everything, including the mashed potatoes and vegetables. This is definitely worth a revisit for any future special occasions!

Seeing the server and an Asian staff coming out from kitchen confirmed that the cooking wasn't fully American taste bud. But that is the reason why it hit me very well. Honestly, whether you have American or fusion or Asian taste bud, the taste quality is better than some average American restaurants. I tried the butter squash soup, lamp chop, and bow tie pasta with chicken. I was enjoying my soup and lamp chop a lot. The pasta was pleasant to me, but it wasn't exceptionally great compared to the lamp chop. My fiancé loved the pasta though, saying that the sauce wasn't overwhelming. It is not a cheap place to come for, but it is because the food and drinks (good white wine) have quality. The wait for the entrees was a little long, even though it wasn't that busy. I believe it was the chef spending time to make sure each dish was done well, unlike the busy restaurant where chefs only follow the restaurant's recipes to make it quick and easy. Lastly, the ambience was okay, but it was more an older fine dining/family owned style. It had some nostalgic vibe if you'd take it that way. Keep it up. I really hope it will be there forever long.

They have arrows leading to the back, so be sure to follow them. The staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions. I ordered a small half-cheese, half-sausage pizza ($25.25). The sausage had a great flavor, and the crust was very fluffy and doughy--so if that's your preference, you'll enjoy it. However, the cheese experience was disappointing; it was clumpy, overly salty, and quite oily. The cheese slid off the slices almost immediately, which made for a messy meal. I'm not a fan of a pizza where the toppings don't stay put, and between the excessive grease and the texture of the cheese, it wasn't for me.
