Heard great things about this spot so we stopped by when our toddler requested pizza for dinner. Parking was easy to find & plenty of seating inside. We were helped right away (ordered XL half veggie, half meatlover) and told it would be a wait. No worries, we appreciate freshness! We waited about 25 minutes and when we picked it up, we were impressed! They load the pizza up with so much topping and the cheese pulls were crazy good. The size of the pizza is about 3/4 of the size of La gigante from La pizza loca if you wanna compare. Super big and each slice is loaded with so much flavor. The sauce is not too overwhelming and pairs nicely together with all the toppings. Crispy crust. I'd definitely recommend coming here for fresh and delicious pizza. Might be a bit of a wait but it is definitely worth it and you'll have yummy leftovers. They also sell by the slice! read more

Husband ordered and a surprise how expensive it was for the size of the pizza. Two medium pizzas over $40, I would've thought the pizza would be spectacular. Unfortunately, the crust was way too thick. It was kind of a bland crust you could actually taste the yeast. They were unevenly pressed out. So some of the crust was thicker and other areas. Unfortunately, parts of it was burnt on the edges. Cut of the pizza slices were uneven so some of us had smaller slices and others got bigger. The all meat pizza was tasty. The toppings were good however, the cheese was very bland and the sauce was OK. The kiddo loves Hawaiian and the pizza was very basic. I can honestly say we would've rather bought a frozen pizza. Sadly, this was our first time trying this location since moving here. We were hopeful that it was gonna be good because we saw many different branches of this pizzeria. After a family discussion, we do not believe we would be coming back to this pizzeria. We want to try to support local families businesses before chain restaurants. My family has been coming to Rio's for a few decades now. Growing up in the area Rio's feels like home, with photos of Schurr High School on the wall. Saw this resturant on instagram and was in the area so I decided to stop by. I really try my best to support family restaurants, Rios was a hit forsure. It took a while to write this review because I have mixed emotions and what I saw happened on Saturday was disgustingly disappointing. A group of Hispanic men were having dinner and group of young girls complained and accused the men of harassment. Mind you they all looked like shawty baes. The men were approached by a worker and asked to leave in a rude manner. I get your trying to please the other group however there is a way to speak to people and ask in a respectful manner to leave the establishment. I have heard so much about Rios pizza that I had to come to experience it! Loved the sauce , cheese n dough! That's what makes for a great pizza! All my summers growing up I spent it in NY and I love pizza since I can remember ! I've been here 2x and the first time we ordered take out, the 2x it was dine in. The ambience is your typical pizza joint (kids , friends n family) . The counter staff at the register are hustlers taking orders. Sadly enough the front of house staff member was not friendly. I had ordered a coke/Pepsi, beer n water. The waitress finally came and it wasn't so busy at the time and she did't seem like she wanted to be there as you can tell in her demeanor. Strangely enough she was friendly to the men, but not the woman, me included. She placed the water and soda on our table pretty hard and water spilled a bit, not a care in the world . I asked her as she walked away about my beer and she replied back saying she can't give it to me , "you need to get it up front from the ladies ". I got to the counter and asked for my beer because their waitress said she couldn't give it me and that I needed to get it up front. It was frustrating ! All this time she just had an attitude and I was trying my best to keep it chill. I informed the lady at the counter what happened and if that's the process and she said no and was apologetic . I did reply that they should tell her to go home if she doesn't feel Ike working . The ladies up front were kind! I walked to the restroom and when I started to walk to my seat she's passing by me and slightly bumps my shoulder and doesn't excuse herself, very rude. Again, I'm maintaining my cool. I get to my seat and she passes by us, no excuse me or even asked if it's ok to open the blinds, she squeezes between my mother and the table to open .the blinds that is the table to the left of the door entrance . Very rude person. I asked her if there as a problem and she looked at me and walked away. She needs love in her life because behaviors like that detour good customers from coming back. . I traveled 35 miles to come here with zero expectations despite the Yelp reviews. I'm in the food hospitality business for 30 yrs as both a chef , chef instructor and food safety expert/ auditor in the industry and staff members like her kills businesses . She needs some retraining . I don't want the overall rating to suffer due to poor behavior from this waitress because the pizza was delicious I'll try this place 1 more time. We've been coming here for years, ordered a pizza for guests who were coming over, and it turned out they had accidentally given our pizza away to someone else. Was going to have them make another pizza, made me pay the full price but then told me I wait another 30 min, which we could not wait for. They offered the pepperoni, but we have vegetarians in our party who couldn't eat it. We asked if we could have at least a discount since we were taking something we did not order, but their only solution was to pay MORE money for a slice of cheese. We took the pizza because we still have people who need to eat but we shouldn't be paying full price for something that we straight up did not order and was not our mistake. I don't like being difficult and I like their pizza, but this was a mistake pretty stressful and disappointing experience, and with the economy right now stuff like this matters when we choose to splurge on what's a pretty expensive pizza.
