Not often you get an Italian place in a German airport, but Falconi's calls the Frankfurt airport home. It's an enormous place inside and nicely appointed. There is also an area right on the glass that you can watch the airplanes, and get a taste of how busy this airport is.
The lovely K and I both ordered the Minestrone soup, which came with a nice assortment of bread, and a couple of pints of beer. Both were very good, but the view was the real star.
We had our food delivered via robot, which was a treat as well. They did not rush us out, which is always appreciated. I'd rather sit there rather than the gate to wait.
Our Server was also quite entertaining, so all in all a very good time. read more
