It's a bad massage when you leave feeling worse than when you came in. And I was feeling great when I came in. The main problem with my massage at this place was that the guy doing just didn't know where to apply the pressure. Out of 60 minutes worth of massage, I probably enjoyed about 10 minutes. There is a wonderful area where we all have tension, right between the shoulder blades, the rhomboid muscles to be specific. My massage therapist kept pressing on my shoulder blades, on the bone, not the muscle. It did nothing for me. It was so unrelaxing. The final straw was when he started working on my neck while I was face up. He again was massaging the bone, the delicate cervical spine. I had to actually stop him because I knew he would injure me otherwise. All in all, a complete waste of money. My therapist seemed totally unskilled and didn't speak any English, so verbal communication was useless. I know it's considered a cheap massage at $40, but why even offer it if it's going to be so cheap and mediocre that people right bad reviews and never come back? Worst pedicure of my life. Is 0 stars and option? My friend and I were seated immediately. The water they wanted us to soak our feet in was cold. They gave neither of us any actual soak time. They were not very busy but seemed in a huge hurry. I think my entire pedicure took them all of 10 minutes. There was no leg or foot massage. They rubbed in lotion for like 30 seconds and then wiped my legs with a rough towel. My friend got a French manicure and we are currently looking for another nail salon to fix her toes as I type this. On top of the poor service, there was some weird back room where people were coming in and out of. It seemed very suspect. read more

First, I was a little surprised that this place is run my Chinese people, not Vietnamese. When I walked in there were already 3 men getting their nails done. No females. Another thing I'm not used to. They don't have a lot of choices when it comes to their nail polish selection. For it being mostly hot weather, we gotta rock some bright colors! Not here. A lot of reds and a lot of pinks. But no matter! So what if one side of the massage chair works? At least the left side of my back feels great! So what if my toe cuticles are still hangin... It's not perfect. But I can appreciate a spot that doesn't make people bleed! They're really nice here. That's usually half the battle. I got what I came for. I was in the area for work and needed a massage. Mike was able to give me a massage as a walk-in client. My arms were in pain and he devoted a good amount of time working those sore muscles. Also he worked on my tight shoulder blades and glutes. It's been so hard finding a therapist that will attend to what I actually need and know what they are doing. I'm glad I found this location. I'm sad I don't live closer, but I will definately come get a massage here whenever I'm in the area. read more

My wife and I had a few hours to kill while waiting for friends flight to arrive and wanted to get a massage. We looked at several spas close to our hotel and the reviews for them. The price at Fall Spa was much lower than others but had generally good reviews, we called and even though the language barrier was difficult to understand what we booked, we had a massage booked for 1 hour later for both of us. We were a little skeptical but decided to go and thought we could walk out if we didn't like what we saw when there. Well... we walked in and it was not real welcoming and quite dark but we were quickly lead to our room with two massage tables and proceeded to have one of the best massages my wife and I have ever had! If you looking for just a massage and not the whole spa experience we would highly recommend Fall Spa massage! The quality and price were exceptional, we felt we paid half of what it would have cost at many of the spas in Palm Springs and the quality was top level. Come for the price, stay for the playlist. First of all, to combat some of the negative reviews, the place did not have a bad smell, and the linens used during my stay were clean and freshly laundered. I was treated kindly the entire time. This wasn't the best massage I've every received, but it was the best massage I've ever received for $40. At the very end, I could have added on 30 minutes for my feet for $20. Had I known that ahead of time, I probably would have gone for it, but I didn't allocate time to stay an extra 30 minutes. Everything was pretty normal/expected. One thing that was unexpected and AWESOME was how much time she spent on my buttocks. Seriously, not a joke here, she paid more attention to my butt than anyone else has, ever, for any reason. She treated my cheeks like the major muscles they are, and this runner/squat addict appreciated every second. Most masseuses shy away from buttocks, in my experience. The second unexpected element was the bomb-awesome playlist. I'm used to new age background music during a massage, but you'll find none of that here. Only the finest instrumental pop songs played with saxophone and/or keyboard. Thankfully, I am not currently going through a major life loss or breakup, because the 4-in-a-row wham of Phil Collins' Against All Odds, Celine Dion's All By Myself, Another Day in Paradise (Double Phil! #thinktwice), and Ave Maria would have reduced me to a sobbing shell on the table. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, but everything about this place was terrible. Not sure if this is a Jack shack LOL but that's the vibe I got ....the man working there had no shirt or shoes on, which I found odd, but it was hot out so i figured that was why? Anyways...the massage was awful, the pressure was lacking HARD and I even asked for the her to increase the pressure and it was still no where near what i wanted ... it literally felt like someone was lightly rubbing low quality oil on me. From the moment it started I was hoping it would get better and after a few minutes in (after realizing she smelled like cigarettes) I instantly regretted coming to this place...now I was stuck for an hour smelling cigarettes... I was waiting for it to end about 5 minutes in....and the entire time the other employees kept coming in the room and loudly speaking their language to each other ... this occurred multiple times. Finalllllly and thankfully the message was coming to an end but before it ended they rub the oil on your face ...and it isn't even a good type of a rub...never have I ever been anywhere where they put the message oil on your face..... and when it was ending, the other employer/the boss came in and yelled at our masseuses to hurry up bc "our time was up" .....and I wore my bikini there bc I was coming from the pool but when I got dressed after the massage I put my clothes on and was going to carry my bikini out, but I forgot to grab it, so after paying I walked back to the room to grab it and they had already grabbed my bikini and had it in the back with their towels .....as if they didn't know it was mine when clearly I was JUST in there and she 100% saw me wearing it.... I even asked if it was okay that I was in my bikini before the massage...oh and last but not least, not only was the massage legit terrible, I forgot to mention they used latex gloves the entire time. Had a great 2 hour massage here last night . My masseuse was Lily she was very strong and worked very hard for the full 2 hours . My mom had Jack she enjoyed the massage as well . Hard to communicate as they don't speak a lot of English but they def do there best to understand you . Lily was very pleasant and I would def come back again for another massage when I'm in town again . I would just make sure she knows exactly what I want next time as far as amount of time on my back . I prefer more on arms , legs , head etc . The place is not a ritzy spa for sure but the price reflects the atmosphere . I am pretty high maintenance but didn't really bother me as far as the surroundings . Overall great experience . From the moment I walked in, the service was horrible. I scheduled myself for a massage and mani/pedi. When the lady went to do my pedi, she saw that I had gel polish on from a previous one and wouldn't do my pedicure because she said "it takes too long to take the polish off. Wait two more weeks." So she proceeded to do my mediocre manicure instead. Then there was the massage. Ladies, DO NOT GET MARK!!! Not only did he not know what he was doing, he was rough and had traveling hands. Of all the massages I have had over the years (at both high end spas and otherwise), never have I had a masseuse massage my inner thigh (by the crotch area) or take the sheet off leaving me completely exposed as he used his hands (not elbows or forearms) to massage my butt (and I'm not talking kneading either!). I'm from out-of-town and it was my first time in this place, so I wasn't sure what to expect (I didn't read the yelp reviews ahead of time). I asked for a 20 minute chair massage (they apparently only have 10 min. or 30 mins. on their brochure), and I was promptly walked into a dark room, where it became very clear from the way the chair was set up that this was not something they did regularly. It was so dark I could hardly see the chair. Then, I tried to tell the guy that I have an inflamed QL on the right side of my back, so I didn't want him to massage there, but because he doesn't speak English, he kept rubbing there--until I finally had to sit straight up and say, "no!" in order to get him to stop. I get a lot of massages, and regularly go to a place called Asian Miracle Massage in Seattle, so I know that these types of massages are less relaxing --as he stuck his elbows into all my tight spots to loosen them up, which can be too painful for some folks, but it is what I needed, so that part worked for me. The part that made me most uncomfortable was when he cracked my neck and my back like a chiropractor does--but he is clearly not a trained chiropractor, so it was scary to think about the kind of damage that could have been done--but I made it through. He ended up giving me (and charging me) for a 30 minute massage, even though I only wanted 20 (and they keep trying to upsell you on more time), so just be fully warned about this place and walk in with eyes wide open. read more
