First, Dr. Silberman explained every step of what he intended to do and was so kind and gentle. Not one thing hurt! Not even one twinge of pain and the bridge was not damaged!! He let me know every step of the way what was going on and when I left, I felt I had been so well taken care of that I was embarrassed to have been so fearful. Everyone in the office of Rancho Endodontics is super friendly and nice and they made me feel reassured from the moment I walked in. It's never fun to have a root canal, but it doesn't have to be painful and if you want the same pain-free experience I had, I highly recommend Rancho Endodontics and Dr. Silberman.

The nerve just wouldn't stop hurting the pain was a 9/10 I had to take ibprofuen nonstop. Roe did a very thourough evaluation on me and I got diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis. Leah quickly again fit me in the schedule for a root canal as she knew how unbearable the pain was! I love the whole staff there they're so friendly, professional, and very trained. Roe and her assistant took care of me. I got headphones to listen to music/tv, they made sure I was numb; as the tooth's nerve was VERY sensitive. They tested to make sure before any work started. I am now painless, and so much happier because of it.Thank you so much Rancho Endodontics!!

The office ladies were very expedient & the billing & money was EASY with my insurance. Most of all, I was afraid/nervous about expecting that surprise dental pain that may come during drilling...it never happened. Dr. Finn injected painlessly; she waited for the stuff to sink in/spread out; she did a quick, PAINLESS root canal! Thanks, Doc! I think I'll be back in a few months for another crown that's going bad after forty-something years.

I walked over from my dentist, they were able to get me in the very next day. I was treated so kindly. They did everything to make me comfortable, gave me the best neck pillow, one for my knees and also had great music playing. Dr. Finn is very kind, gentle and funny. She did a fantastic job numbing me up, made sure I was comfortable as my nerve was on fire. I didn't feel a thing. They gave me a little rest break and I was in and out of there in no time. My first experience was very complicated as the last dentist left a little piece of the tool in my canal. I told Dr. Finn I really wanted to save the tooth. She wasn't sure she would be able to retrieve the instrument but she did and I have never had an issue again with that tooth. So in summary, if you ever need a root canal, please don't be afraid and go see Dr. Finn. Thank you to everyone on staff

Instead of automatically pushing the more expensive route, he focused on saving my tooth and doing what actually made sense -- which also saved me a lot of money. That level of integrity and care is rare and very appreciated. Donna, his dental assistant, was amazing as well. She clearly takes so much pride in her work and it shows. She was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and had some of the best customer service I've experienced in a medical office. She made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. Dr. Greiner and Donna together made what could have been a stressful visit a really positive experience. They were both kind, helpful, and genuinely cared. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for an endodontist who is honest, thorough, and truly patient-focused.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting and looking forward to a 5-star experience. Unfortunately,…read morethat was not my experience, and I felt I was given 1-star treatment. The female dental assistant was not welcoming or friendly. When I mentioned that I wanted to skip the CBCT scan due to financial reasons, as the cost can be hundreds of dollars depending on insurance, she continued to push the scan 4-5 times despite my clearly stating that I did not want it. I found this extremely uncomfortable and felt that my decision was not being respected. When it came time for the X-rays, the lead apron was tossed onto me rather than being placed on me with care. I have pectus excavatum, which made this particularly uncomfortable and, in my opinion, was not handled professionally. My experience with Dr. Omid Dianat was also concerning. I was placed in a Trendelenburg position, with my head lower than my feet. I have cystic fibrosis and related sinus issues, which make me particularly prone to dizziness and migraine spikes. I had disclosed my medical history and symptoms in the forms I completed prior to the appointment. Being placed in that position exacerbated my symptoms and left me feeling extremely ill afterward. I understand that certain procedures and positioning may be necessary, but I believe my medical history should have been reviewed and taken into consideration before positioning me this way. At the very least, I would have appreciated being informed beforehand so we could discuss whether there was a more appropriate position for me. Additionally, when the electric pulp tester (EPT) was used on an already extremely sensitive tooth, I would have appreciated even a brief warning that the test could cause significant pain. A simple 10-second explanation would have made the experience much less distressing. Overall, I left feeling genuinely disappointed because I had high expectations after reading so many positive reviews. I was hoping to feel heard, respected, and cared for throughout my appointment, particularly after taking the time to provide detailed information about my medical history and concerns beforehand. Instead, I left feeling that my decisions, comfort, and individual needs were not given the level of consideration I expected. I'm sharing this feedback because I believe these concerns could have been addressed with better communication, more attentiveness, and a little more compassion. I hope the office takes this experience seriously and considers how these interactions can be improved so future patients feel more comfortable, respected, and cared for.

But then again, considering my experience with San Diego North Endodontics, I should have expected this. Early last year, I had enough pain to make an emergency visit to my regular dentist. They subsequently sent me over to Doctor Chesler's office for a consultation. Turns out I had an incomplete root canal from a previous dentist many years ago that wasn't done quite right. They got me in right away to resolve the issue and that is exactly what they did! The entire procedure was a cake walk with immediate pain relief. Although there was residual pain due to healing, it has gradually been getting less. My 6-month visit revealed substantial improvement, and my one-year visit showed missing bone structure filling back in. It's to the point of only slight sensation while flossing. Ok, so much for the technical stuff. Regarding Dr. Chesler, I felt like I was his ONLY patient! He kept me fully informed about everything sparing no details. Additionally, he is compassionate in addressing any patient concerns. It's like he goes beyond the call of duty!
