Very much a destination brewery! It's about a 45 minute drive outside of Baltimore city. I was nearby at Kilgore Falls and stopped by for some food and beer. It was the perfect spot to end the evening. Plenty of parking and a very large property with patio seating, picnic tables, tap room seating, and food trucks. Check their Instagram for updated food truck schedule! I got one of the seltzers. It was a bit strange since it looked more like a sour. I liked the flavor but it just wasn't really what I was expecting from a seltzer and made me wonder if it was truly gluten free. We chilled at one of the picnic tables and watched the sunset. They also have some goats in the stables that are pretty funny. Great place for refreshments after Kilgore or to bring the whole fam!

Cool spot! There's a corn maze, huge pumpkin picking lot, three food trucks, mini farmers market and of course beer. There was pumpkin painting and hay rides as well. Plenty of parking, beer was good. Though I'd recommend bringing some chairs if you come bc seating could be an issue. The falling pumpkin beer was bomb! Spicy and delicious! Would definitely return. The staff was very friendly and was practicing COVID prevention methods.

Happened to be right around the corner today and stumbled on this place out of pure luck. Very happy I did as this is a destination brewery that goes unadvertised in my neck of the woods (southern NJ). Lots of room to wander here and plenty of indoor and outdoor places to sit and make your own. The beer was excellent and I was able to try the brand new to the food truck Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich that was top notch. I will definitely return for all these options: beer, food, and ambiance. Two thumbs up!

I've been going here for years now. The first FBB beer I had was the Amber Waves. Since then, I've had plenty of other delicious beers on tap here. But to this day, it's my favorite. I usually stay clear of Belgian style amber ales. But AW is a knockout. It's smooth and drinkable not at all caramely or too heavy bodied despite it being a Belgian dark string ale. Being here is an experience. Words can't fully capture how I feel about the rural scenic drive to here and the country views while sitting outside sipping on my brew. One can't help but fully appreciate the painstaking process that goes into making the beers being this close to the source. By the way there's usually a food truck or two on site if you're hankering for something to eat. FBB is worth the drive. So what are you waiting for? There's plenty of parking and indoor/outdoor seating.

Love the 'Farm Brewery' as a concept, and I think these guys are doing it right. Barn is big and welcoming, staff is friendly and the beer is maturing nicely. Love the fact you can walk 20 yards and see some farm animals in there element. Great work, and we will me back.

Great Sunday chill excursion. Visited for PumpkinFest which runs Sept-Oct. Sipped on pumpkin beer, snacked on oven brick pizza, rode a hayride, and painted pumpkins. They also have a pumpkin patch, corn maze, face paint and a few local vendors selling goods. We sat in the taproom while we ate and watched the Ravens game. It was an hour drive from Owings Mills but a great scenic route.

This place is cute and fun, kinda in the middle of nowhere. The drinks are great, at the time they didn't have any sour beers available which are my favorite but the staff picked out some beers that they thought I would like. I can't remember which ones lol but they were good and I trust them to assist you too! We were inside for awhile, they had live music in their cute little barn. Then later we went outside to order food from the food truck. It was a bbq truck, they had good good food. Outside was a seating area with heaters so the windy weather didn't deter us. It's cute and would definitely recommend.

Loved this brewery! We will definitely be back. The atmosphere was so nice and plenty of outside seating to provide a spacious and safe atmosphere in order to follow safety guidelines due to COVID-19. I definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a good day trip and a great beer. Also, all staff was super friendly & the food truck had great food!

Love the place, the vibe, the live music. Disliked the beer... so much so that I couldn't finish my flight. I'm not sure if it was the 4 I chose or what, but they were poorly made beers with little to no flavor. Overall- I think this place is great for family and friends and is a fun place to hang at. I'm hopeful I was there on an off day in regards to their beer. I loved the outdoor area so much I would be willing to try it again!

Get here QUICK!! What a great brewery!! They hv plenty for kids to do. Live bands outside. A ton of beers, even make their own cheese. We ordered pizza from a food truck out back. it was delicious!!!!!! We live in TX but cannot wait to come back and visit! Plan on bringing friends with us just so they can experience this random, kick ass brewery in the country!!! LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!

We had a great time at the craft festival. My husband liked the ciders and I enjoyed the vendors. I loved the pizza and he loved the put turkey and fries. We also got to spend time with friends. Great day even with heat index.

Awesome brewery and location. The location is on a farm with excellent scenery and atmosphere. They have put a lot of work into this location and it is a great spot to hang out on a Saturday when they're open. They have put a lot of work into restoring the barn and making it a nice location. There's plenty of seating around the bar area and lawn games like corn hole to play with whomever you came with. The owners and people working here are very chill which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. Since it's on a dairy farm they have a stand for ice cream and they also have pit beef fries and other food for sale. As for the beer its great. The brewer cares a lot about what he's producing and it shows. You really can't go wrong with whatever you chose from. If you live around here and want to drink great beers this is the spot. Since they're only open Saturdays you may want to bring your growler for the other days.

We didn't go to the outdoor part of the brewery, preferring to stay in the air-conditioning. It's got a cute indoor seating area, and was very popular with families and friends alike. The service was really helpful. You order directly at the bar, you wait for your drinks there, and any food is taken out to you. My dad got the cider and really liked it, but I felt that the star of the show was the mango blue raspberry slushy. Honestly, I should've gotten another one because it was super delicious. It was like a superstar of a drink. It was also very popular among all the girls wearing cute summer dresses, who I'm guessing were there for an engagement party or something. Most of my party got burgers, although my mom got the chicken pesto sandwich and said it was great. We all loved our burgers. I got the bacon Gouda burger, which I highly recommend. We also got some of their fries. Fantastic! Honestly, I couldn't believe the food was that good. What a great place to stumble across!

At the end of our meal we were definitely full... we had the chili, the brisket platter w a 1/2 chicken and the Mac n cheese. The so-so - the building was freezing, the waitress said it was because there were only one set of vents for heating and cooling and they were about 30' in the air... lots of people with their coats on. - The cornbread had an odd taste that my wife called "dish soap flavor". Asked the waitress if there was lavender or other strong ingredient but she had no idea and said there's a new pastry chef. - The menu says "1/2 chicken" but seriously, it could easily be confused for a quail... ( see photos ). That said, the smoke flavor on it was excellent.

Service was quick and efficient with them walking through all the different pours and offering samples to peak my interest. Their seasonal peppermint bourbon will blow you away. While I am not familiar with other local breweries and am not a connoisseur of beer in general, this place seemed like a nice social hub, with a food truck on site and live music. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is that there is no table service, so you have to stand in a fairly long line to get drinks yourself each time you want a drink (or food from the food truck), yet they ask for gratuity (not a fan of the business model when personal service isn't really provided). I went with their "Blue Eyed Blonde" beer. It was nice and cold, but also felt it wasn't anything special for a Belgian blonde beer compared to others I've tried. Beers are decently priced at $6-8 for a glass. There's a mix of indoor and outdoor patio seating, and the area with live music does tend to get packed when music is being performed. I would rate the place a 3.5/5, but happy to round up since Yelp doesn't allow for half stars. I'd recommend a visit to Independent Brewing Company if you're looking to socialize and try out a local spot for beer in Bel Air.

But there's always something just a bit off on every visit. The servers aren't aware of specials advertised on social media. The food presentation is always slightly off. There have never been more than 3 beers on tap out of several they list. I would not recommend the lobster roll special - cold flavorless lobster bits sprinkled with celery spread over Texas toast bread which was soggy from the moisture. Had to eat with knife and fork. The German coleslaw was tasty and vinegary but served on a plate (not bowl) and juice was spreading to edge of plate and didn't look appetizing the way it was presented but it was very good. The boardwalk-style fries are delicious and they do have malt vinegar for them if you ask. Good beer though - the Pilsner is my favorite. They recently opened up some outdoor seating with picnic tables that face the parking lot.
