My husband loved the cowboy steak, and by Nick's suggestion I ordered the fish and chips but swapped the fries for steamed broccoli. I told Nick I'm not a fan of fish that's heavily battered and soaked in oil like a sponge. He reassured me I'd love theirs because it's large pieces of fish with a light batter -- and he was absolutely right. I also asked for the hottest sauce they had, and instead of just bringing something standard, Nick went to the kitchen and had a fresh jalapeño-based sauce made. It was incredible. In fact I took the rest home as it was made specially for me! Nick clearly takes pride in what he does and in the restaurant, which is something you don't see often anymore. Inside the store they have a lot of meat products already wrapped ready to go, and a case where you can pick what you want. There are other local products like meat sticks to purchase. It can be pricy but I think it's healthier than what is sold in stores. Staff were nice and knowledgeable. They offer meat packages and said they would be willing to trade out products (like pork) for a similar product they sell.

Got their belly buster breakfast as I was super hungry. Two pancakes, 2 French toast, home fries, 3 eggs, 3 sausages, and 3 bacon for $16 currently. A heck of a price for so much good food. Had to get the pancakes to go as I was so stuffed! Overall, good prices, good classic diner food. If I'm up here again, I'll be sure to come back.

7/12/2026 Nothing like a local diner to get the morning…read morestarted. A small parking lot that I always see packed no matter the time and I see why the community uses this as a go to place. Servers were short staffed this day yet they were working the restaurant like pros. Vanilla milkshake didn't feel full but the vintage glass was cute. My BLT was solid they go heavy on the tomatoes though they had like 3 slices and fries were fresh and crispy the old school ketchup bottle really took me back. The chicken and waffles were loaded they surly don't skimp on the protein and fluffy Belgian waffle. Nice strips of bacon you really can't go wrong here. Our server (insert name tbd) bobbed and weaved with impeccable service. The vintage juke box, attractions for the kids and just that homely vibe has the locals coming back for more. I'll for sure come back and try Ed's famous chili when I get the chance
