The customer service is garbage. None of the employees cared to learn any of the residents names. Was there over 2 years and any issues we reported to the "manager" we were told to "figure it out" They did not maintain the grounds there are goat head weeds everywhere. The employees would terrorize park animals. I wouldnt recommend any part of this property. Its not cleaned or maintained at all. read more

I was at Lahonton lake a few weeks ago and stopped by here to use the restroom and get gas at this gas station/ RV Park. Staff was nice, looked like a family run business. Their restroom located in the back was clean, but darker than I anticipated. I'm always weary of eating anything from a gas station while traveling unless it's from a Maverick. I broke my rule and quickly regretted it. I bought a hot pocket and popped it into the microwave and let's just say I'll never forget this experience and I won't be touching these again for a long long time. Been stopping by here since 2018 for travel to and from the Northwest. However this will be the last time we stay here. It is so run down, cracked concrete, can't get level, no restrooms/showers, restrooms behind the gas station and store. Most of the park are long termer folks with stuff everywhere. Unfortunately there are a not if choices in the area. read more

This place sucks! The power keeps going off & the only response from the front store is it'll be 20 minutes. This is t the 1st either!!! Well as of now that was almost 4 hours ago. It's hot! We have dogs! Now we have hot dogs. There is a transformer up by the store but they're too cheap to get it installed. We are in transition of getting a house & this freaking SUCKS!! Stayed here July 2023, gas station seemed nice so I assumed the RV park would be nice. I believe there are a lot of fake reviews out there for this place. I was traveling alone and had a rough trip was looking for some safe comfort. This place was super run down, concrete pads cracked and undeveloped. I asked the front desk if anyone lived there permanently they said no, which was an 0bvious lie. Grass, was basically sticker patches. Picnic table was blocking my spot, damaged and so I had to go to a spot next to it. Public showers and restrooms had do not cross tape around large piles of dirt and weeds around it. It appeared that the man next to it had lived there for decades and that was part of his yard. Another spot had at least 5 dogs in a cage, they obviously lived there permanently and the dogs barked a lot and seemed vicious. The only thing good about this place was the electric. The guy staying next to me said he was living there because he didn't have a choice for work Better off going to a parking lot or better yet boondocks out of town. read more

Unfortunately, my wife and I experienced an unsatisfactory visit to Fallon RV Park. With a Good Sam sign in front, we registered our Travel Trailer for the evening, in June, 2021. Staff was unhelpful and unknowledgable on our simple questions such as which direction to park, Laundry room washers and dryers dysfunctional, WiFi did not function. The Park and facilities were dirty. The combination on the Men's bathroom and showers was broken. Discarded cigarette butts in a bucket at the Men's Room were not cleaned out in quite a long period of time. There was no manager on site ( or one who would admit he was manage) to address our concerns. Shame on Good Sam for endorsing this slum Park. ZERO stars Roger Gitlin Crescent City. CA. . read more

We stayed here in a fifth wheel for 7 days at $50 a night with Good Sam discount. Multiple pull thrus, many concrete paved. Good cable reception. 50 amp service on our site. Clean and well kept. On the down side, it's almost impossible to sleep due to heavy road noise. We had to keep the windows closed at all times to cut the noise. We were within 50 yards of the road. Our site had a "nice" view of the service station and road. Still, it's still the best park in Fallon. There's not much to pick from. read more

Extremely disappointed in the customer at the front desk. Around mid night my wife and i noticed the fans turning off and on, moments later we smelled electrical burning, i got up to investigate and found that the 30 amp box was having a melt down and our plug was starting to melt, immediately turned of the panel breakers outside. That morning i went into the market to ask for a manger the older short mexican female gave me no answer, when i explained the problem she shrubbed her shoulder and said nothing again, i tried to explain that there electrical panel had a melt down and i needed to speak to someone about it, the temps were going to be 100 degrees today, she again ignored me and shrubbed her shoulder. She did say Jason the maintenance guy would in today, tell him. This lady had absolutely to concern for the mater. After paying for my coffee she whispers, " and please dont come in here anymore. WOW The power in the park has been one of the biggest problems since we have been here. read more

Charge $2 for ea dog but poop all over and I didn't want mine out as it was so dirty. Burnt down motor home in back, no wifi, and police at store rolling in with lights on all night. This park had a distinctive feel of neglect. Weeds everywhere, grass needed to be mowed, many permanent campers had unkempt yards, junk stacked everywhere and campers that looked like they needed to be retired. I realize times are tough but there's no excuse for piles of trash everywhere and garbage service dumpsters within 50 feet. The park advertised free WiFi, there's no WiFi. The campsite is concrete and level, so that was nice. read more

TRUST US AND SKIP THIS STOP!!! $20 to dump!?!? No potable water at dump site, even though they said there was, so we pulled into an open space to fill up. Rats had gotten into the water system and filled it up! GROSS! Go somewhere else!!! They're diesel was cheap but every other fuel is much higher (by about 30 cents a gallon) than the places a short way up the road. read more

Truly horrible customer service. We stopped while driving through town to fill up with gas, use restrooms and buy some drinks (at least that was the plan anyway.) We pulled up to the filling stations, filled our tank with gas, and then I walked inside to use the restroom. I asked the employee behind the counter where the restroom was located because it was not apparent by glancing around the store. He told me that the restroom was closed for cleaning and would be closed for "a good 20-30 minutes." My husband and I are traveling with our older daughter, our 4-month-old daughter, and our Miniature Schnauzer in Sacramento, and needing to get home to Vegas this evening, so stops with a baby are already longer and more frequent than anyone would like, but that's how it goes with a baby. I walked outside to figure out what to do about a restroom since it had already been a while, and when the baby is ready to go, we wouldn't want to have to stop again soon. My husband had already pulled the car around the side of the building as I had noted on the way in to the "travel center" that the grass right outside had a sign that said, "no pets on grass" so he moved the car to an area with grass that wasn't labeled "no pets" so that we could walk our dog (and I could sit and feed the baby). I noticed that there was a restroom in the RV portion of the property (note that the gas station and RV park are all one property - I checked their website to be sure). I assumed that would be an easy solution to the issue of being able to use a restroom. When I got over there, I realized that there was a keypad lock on the bathroom door, so I couldn't get in. While walking back to the car I noticed the station employee standing outside our car talking to my husband and waving his hands around. When I got back to the car, my husband informed me that the man had told him, "what are doing?! You can't be there, that's private property!" (trying to insinuate that the RV area is owned by a different company than the gas station... not true). My husband said that we were just trying to use the restroom, walk our dog and feed our baby. The man proceeded to rant about how he couldn't be there. My husband said that he would just park in front of the gas station then. The man said, "that's still private property, you can't be there either." My husband reminded him that we had just bought over $40 of gas from him, so we were paying customers, and we needed to be able to feed our baby before continuing to drive. The man continued and said, "You can't just hang out on someone's private property like that!" Seriously?! We paid for gas there and he wouldn't even let us stay parked out front to feed our baby! Truly awful. I wish I was able to unpump the gas out of our car, because this place does not deserve anyone's business. We proceeded to drive down the road a mile or so to a different gas station that had much more friendly staff and purchased our Gatorade, coffee, etc there. Please don't stop here unless you want a very rude man to tell you that you're not allowed to use the restroom or sit in your car and feed your baby there even though you've paid for gas. On a trip north, this was a good stopping place for an overnight stay, wouldn't stay here much longer than that. It's pet friendly, but signs all around the perimeter say keep the dogs off the grass, I understand when people don't clean up after their dogs, they need to put more dog poop stations around the park and that'll help. The facility is older and worn out, huge trees, grass on some sites, full hookups, WiFi and local cable TV, for $50 a night, should have grass all over the place, not sure if I'll stay here again, but there aren't many places to stay in the area. read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE.... DO NOT, DO NOT COME HERE RV Park is trashy, human waste on the ground, people urinating outside due to bathrooms being locked, without giving any notice. Water was turned off with no notification. When we pay for 1 night, we were NEVER told that water/bathrooms would be locked during our stay. We were told to walk down the road (over a mile) to use the bathroom at a gas station. Drug addict passed out behind the bathrooms. When bathrooms were open, disgusting, as there trash, muddy floors and trash can over flowing. Customer service is extremely rude, extremely. Nevada health department needs to shut them down as there are children living there. Stay away, just keep driving. I'm disappointed that Good Sam has them listed at all. There was dead carcasses in the trash bins, the stench was overwhelming. We camped at Fallon RV Park in our Motorhome. We expect a refund our $42.00 and I am reporting this to the BBB. Stayed here for two nights in a travel trailer. Sites are very well marked. We reserved site 22 but it taken when we arrived so we were placed it site 31, right next to the bathrooms. Hookups were easily accessible. Picnic table was warped and cracked. Bathroom was adequate but in need of updating. Floors need to be cleaned. Sufficient trash cans throughout the park. Park maintenance man hung around outside of bathrooms smoking which smelled. There is a store and gas station at the entrance which was very well stocked and propane is also available. Not a bad place for a couple of nights. read more

Another less than one star. The gas station ,Sinclair's, is truly the worst for customer service. They must just stay in business since next to RV park. The "workers" LOL are rude both men and women, Ok once in awhile there is a good one but they don't stay long. Today stopped for Gas and beer ( we take sheckler exit). The pump would only give me 20 cents then only .23. Went and asked if they were out of mid grade of course on their phone and too busy too check. She said "I don't know try another one". Is pump working "I don't know", how rude. I guess they make enough $ they don't need customers. Oh one day stopped and a bunch of guys sitting near picnic table looked like they were partying! If you need a place to sleep, and the raod side rest is full, you might consider this place. Level cement slabs to park on and bullhead/goathead stickers everywhere. The best thing about this park is the neighbors horse who came over to say hi every time we took the dogs to the dirt dog area. Run down, employees couldn't care less about you, too many long term resident's (some look a little unsavory) obviously only in it for the money they can make off of you. Their park rules have too many "Absolutely's" highlighted in red which makes you feel like they've had a guts full of dealing with people. read more

Very nice rv park. Paved, long spaces that are flat/level. Water/electric were no problem. Nice little store where you check in. There is attached gas station in front if the office that makes it confusing where to park while checking in. Signage would help. There is a little road noise but quiets down at night. read more

We called to make a reservation for the night and they said ok and that they accepted the Passport (discount card). When we arrived they denied they were part of the program even though they are listed in the Passport book and website. This park is sadly overpriced and the employees act like you are putting them out when you ask a question or have an issue. The pet yard is full of debris (could be dangerous) and is uncared for. The bathrooms are very clean but not disinfected. I am so disappointed. The lawn area next the camper and the shade tree was a real pleasure. Our power went out in the middle of the afternoon when it was over 100 degrees two days in a row. The Park shunned us and not even an apology. Too many trailers/Rv's tapping the electricity. When we called the owner after we got home he said just send an email. End of story folks. Me, never again. read more

Fairly nice RV park but nothing special. It's right on the highway and a bit noisy. We always fill up here whenever going out to Sand Mountain. The prices in the store and the prices for gas are great. I've never had any issues with the staff until today. The gentleman working today. He was a bit rude. A lady walked in, paid cash for gas and she asked him where the bathroom was. He wouldn't answer her so I told her where it was. After she left, he told me that "only paying customers could use the restrooms" but in more words than that. Hello?!? She just paid you for gas (and she was an older lady on top of that)! Because of that, I knocked a star. It's a solid 3 star RV park, 5 star gas station and 4 star market. read more

4 stars based on a 8 month stay while working in the area. Easy to maneuver large RV. Large pads with plenty of parking for extra vehicles. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Laundry and showers available but I can't really comment because I never used them. It's not a high end resort but if you are passing through or staying a while it's the best bet in the area. Be forewarned no shortage of police, state troopers, deputy/sheriffs in the area. They want your money so don't speed. I got pulled over at 3am going to hospital to place an epidural. Deputy told me I was "all over" the road. I had him play it back on his dash cam but that's another story. Can you rate a sheriffs department on yelp? read more

We had a tent site. Small area of grass shared by anyone else who came . $35 fee for no power tent site. He aware at 10p. All The spot lights come on in the tent area. Made sleeping impossible with the area !it up. Felt like a prison yard. The one person that runs the store a nd campground was overworked but was very pleasant to be with. Restrooms are ok but not cleaned for this large RV park.. you will be up early because close to freeway. read more

Called over a week ago to reschedule our dates, I was told that the computers were down but the change would be noted. Arrived today to be told by a rude, unfriendly man that our dates were never changed. When asked if he could accommodate us, he replied "you can have a backend spot." I replied that he sounded like he didn't want us there, he said that he was sick and not feeling well, so I told him that that was not my problem and maybe he should go home. He said "I can't, I have to be here" and I said well we don't, told him to cancel everything and we left! On my way out I told him he needed to work on his customer service. read more

Stayed there in August. We were totally satisfied and pleased. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Stayed there again in October and the bathrooms were dirty. Dust on the floors. Toilets need a good brushing. I was temped to go buy a toilet brush, a broom and clean it myself. I did call the office in the morning but later that afternoon it was still the same. It really is a nice park and the people at the office are helpful and friendly. Not too sure if we want to stay there again if we come through Fallon again. If we do we need to remember to bring cleaning supplies to clean the bath and shower with. read more

We had a pleasant stay here on our way through Fallon - the cost was $45, even with our "Sams" discount, which was more than advertised, but still OK. Coming back a week later it was very different. We were the same 3 people as before, but this time charged $65 and threatened by Tony, the manager. He said that the place was full of people from Burning Man (we saw no sign of that even though it's pretty easy to spot a Burner's rig) and if we had more than 3 people he'd call the sheriff and have us evicted! He also said that security cameras were on and that if we dumped any trash he'd call the sheriff. (Although here was a sign on the dumpster "$10 to dump one bag.") We are well-traveled seniors and have never before encountered such rude behavior & attitude anywhere in our travels. read more

Nice spot to stop. Clean and friendly. Dog walk area was clean. Our lot was very level so easy setup! Would recommend. Store has gas, propane and very well stocked. The usual variety, plus a liquor store. A little noise from the highway but most rv camps are near a highway so no biggie, just ask for a spot farther from the road. After reading the reviews, we weren't sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. read more

In general I got the feeling that the park is in decline. I'd estimate a quarter to one third of the RVs are full timers. read more
