None of the staff here are equipped to handle large dog breeds. They were scared of my 80 lb…read moremastiff mix and did not want to find any other solutions to giving his shots. Instead, they made us buy pills to calm him down and reschedule (Which couldn't be done until 3 weeks later). The Vet Tech did not build any rapport with him and just tried to stick the thermometer in a place he did not like. If you want your pet to actually be treated like a pet, and not just a job that needs to be accomplished, you will not go here.

Unfortunately, this veterinary clinic like many other others, doesn't offer any type of wellness plans to help with payments like perhaps a senior plan for not only senior owners, but maybe senior pets would be helpful. Another thing that would be helpful is if you're going to prescribe a medication that has to be compounded that you're able to to give resources on the spot to the owner, not just let the owner go off trying to find a compounding pharmacy. Going through chewy is quite difficult because of the Veterinary clinic will not confirm with Chewy over the phone, you have to send the original written prescription to chewy. Can you imagine in this day and age not taking phone calls or texts or emails or something instead of using the USPS, what a ridiculous practice. My poor senior dog needs this medication and is coughing constantly, and this is what this veterinarian gave me? Nothing to help temporarily, but of course wanting to do all kinds of tests after stating "his heart murmur is at a grade3 now, no longer a one". I literally paid what I would pay for myself a Patient First, with x-rays labs and a work up. My daughter recently talked to somebody in Prague, whose cat had open heart surgery for $100, so as you can say healthcare is not only getting bad for us. We're not gonna be able to afford it for our animals either especially with clinics like this one that tend to prey on people, or at least that's how you feel as a senior. Never mind, trying to recoup your money for your overly done, newly decorated office, why not come up with some economic health plans for people in their pets that makes things more affordable that to me would be much more helpful.. especially knowing that you're the one that helped her renovate the office!!!! I'm praying my little buddy can hold out until I get the medication to see if that works but I, again, will be seeking another veterinarian office. But fear not, Harford County is loaded with them!

She was running she was playing. She was eaten. She enjoyed her treats. She enjoyed shrimp. enjoyed her tuna and she loved chicken on a day of the visit. Even the vet said that she was extremely healthy except she was a couple ounces overweight at that point she weigh 3 lbs. 79 oz. during a visit she had gotten a distemper shot and a microchip and her first check up. They did give me a pamphlet which I couldn't see that much due to poor eyesight, but they did tell me she was going to be sleeping a lot. I took her home on that night. She slept, but I also noticed she wasn't eaten or drinking anything I called the vet immediately they told me it's perfectly normal. Give it 24 hours the next day, Saturday, August 29, 2026 I still noticed she wasn't eaten and in my heart I knew something was wrong. I called the vet and the vet said she's OK give it another 24 hours. I told them that there's something wrong with my cat cause I sensed it cause they see my cat they said, unless I have $85 extra which I did not have at that time they would not see her, but they did tell me to give it 24 more hours all day Saturday she did not eat on Sunday, August 30, 2026. She still wasn't eating or drinking anything I contacted the vet on-call services which were no help. They told me that they would make a note to the vet to have them call me back Monday morning, Monday, August 31, 2026. I then got a cough from the vet who proceeded to tell me to come down to the vet and pick up some wet, cat food, and a syringe to administer ibuprofen. I asked them could they please see my cat they said again unless I had $85 they won't be able to see my cat before I continue. Let me explain. I get one check a month due to SSI. I paid the vet $185 and all my bills so I had no money left over. I explained this to the vet the day of the visit, but this was all my money they again said they would not see her unless I had 85 extra dollars which I did not have all day Monday I spent the morning calling the Humane Society and animal control and other vets. Nobody would help. I then contacted my vet again this vet and I begged them to see her. They still wouldn't see her without any money. They did manage to see her after I sent them a message threatening them and if they don't see my cat, I will report them to the state of Maryland about a half hour later they text me back and told me to bring my cat in at the time of that visit. she was very dehydrated. They had to give her IV of fluid at that point. They told me that they did an ultrasound, an x-ray and claim that due to fleas, the alignment of her stomach is messed up. I've never heard of such thing. They told me three options one I can get the surgery 2. Surrender her animal control and have them take care of her or three bring her home and watch her die. I told him that I would do the surgery and work out a payment plan. I told him they can charge my check. I mean my card on the 29th of every month until the bill was paid. They then started coming up with excuses. One excuse was they didn't know if they had it in the schedule and then they said that they don't even know if they could do the surgery. They told me to bring the cat home and they'll call me in the morning. They called me Tuesday September 1 and told me they would not be able to do the surgery and call around other vets, unfortunately no other vet would help again. Let me remind you that my cat Ranger was perfectly healthy. In fact hours before taking her. She was eaten she was playing she was playing with her toys and she was running around happy after we saw the vet on the 28th. She went downhill and I have plenty of people to verify that unfortunately do just one quick animal Hospital today September 9, 2026 about 720 this morning. I went to go check on my cat and she was dead. I tried to reach reached out to them via text messages. They never replied back. I tried calling they let the car go to voicemail. I text them. and asked for the manager to call me back they said we're sorry for your loss, but we will not be calling you back and told me to stop calling him. Nobody should bring their animal to his vet. Nobody what they did to my cat is wrong. The state is investigating them. I've supplied the state with the call logs of me calling them with text messages, videos of how she was before the vet and how she was after the vet as well as I supplied them with pictures of how she looked before the vet from 28 August to 31 August she lost a pound again she weighed 3 lbs. 79 oz. on a 28 of August. She was down a pound in three days this is a horrible vet. They're very disrespectful and extremely rude. They don't care about pets. They only care about the money.
