Apollo loves going to the vet and the people there are great. He is now 86 pounds and still growing.

    Clean.

Great staff. Big doctors office. Everyone seems to care about your pet. The doctor listen to you...... tells you what you need and doesn't pressure you into anything.

after being a loyal and happy customer for decades I have realized as the vets change so does the values and service.

However after my cat rapidly lost half her bodyweight and was obviously very boney and barely eating 40cal/d which I communicated, I was told she was a healthy weight with some mild anemia and elevated liver enzymes and to try an IBD diet for 8 weeks. Even at a follow up visit where I said she hadn't eaten in two days and throwing up repeatedly I wasn't advised to go to the ER and was told to be more consistent with the food prescribed despite her not eating it at all. Within two weeks of the initial appointment she passed from large cell lymphoma after not eating for nearly a week and unable to swallow pills to calm her for the final exams. I rushed her to a different vet 10 days following IBD treatment who said her liver enzymes from the original test were very bad and her X-ray from this vet was overexposed and unsuitable for analysis. She had me in the ER after 5 minutes. By the time she was diagnosed she was too far deteriorated to start treatment and was euthanized at home as peacefully as possible after days on an empty stomach. She was sweet and dignified to the end but was suffering immensely when you consider the circumstances. I do not understand how that rapid of weight loss & no appetite did not trigger more urgency from this vet & am frustrated about being misleadingly reassured about her weight loss and "mild" test results while there was still weeks to react. I was told her excessively protruding spine and pelvis was healthy. Had the situation been properly assessed we could have had enough time to start chemo and give her more peaceful final days. If your gut is telling you the diagnosis is outlandish be sure to follow it. This was a 4 year old cat. I was not aware of large cell lymphoma, the deterioration timeline and that all food intake can quickly stop and destroy your options. These are the risks I expect the vet to communicate immediately rather than put her on a fail first treatment plan suitable for mild weight loss. I had a better innate grasp of the urgency and better diagnostic intuition on my own after only several days of research and should have immediately ignored this vet and gone to the ER. Even AI was better at respecting all my observations and lab results. The level of grief I have right now is unbearable.

Having not even been an existing client, they got me in right away and couldn't have been nicer. From the front desk, to the vet techs, to the doctor who saw us, everyone was extremely caring and friendly. You have a new client for life!

We have been a part of the journey with them when they moved from the location next to the Mazda Dealership in Towson, up the road to where they are located now and couldn't be more excited for them. The staff here is fantastic. The doctors and vet technicians are great with our animals that we bring in. I do have to say that the front desk staff from time to time has become a little less appealing on the phone and in general in-person interaction but overall, the people we interact with are great! We have had to put two cats down and Timonium Animal Hospital has been super accommodating in this process. We just finished a second surgery for our 10 year old AmStaff which were expecting to be quite a struggle but turned out to be super easy and her recovery is going so well. We brought her in worried that things weren't going to go as well as her previous surgery - and then - they were significantly better, including cost associated. Initially, we went in with her appointment and got the final dual estimate in as she was waiting to be cared for, and the estimate was over three times the amount that the previous surgery was, which was for almost the exact same procedure. I called and explained finances to the receptionist to then convey to the doctor and received a revised estimate less than 10 minutes after the call cutting the estimate in half. I don't know if that was a price-gouging issue or just an over estimate to be safe but it still happened. They cut it in half and we were feeling better financially for a procedure that we were familiar with being in a cost range. All went well with the procedure and with the medical professionalism that the staff and doctor have, the recovery pills and area of concern are treating our baby girl very well! Thank you to Timonium Animal Hospital for taking care of all our fur babies when the times are needed. The only concern is the over scheduling of appointments and having to sit in a room with your pet for 30 to 45 minutes to just be seen by even a vet tech can be a long time for animals. The front desk can be more personable an approachable but besides that, when a doctor and tech get hands on our pets, all goes so well. Thank you!

Fair to good veterinary services, very caring and professional staff. Back office manager is…read morerunning a 1950s efficiency business, fails to bill correctly and uses snail mail. I was subject to lost invoices in the mail, no followup was attempted for over a year, then I needed urgent care and was refused, without the doctor being aware, by the outraged office manager who had failed to perform the most basic diligence on behalf of the practice, the client or the animal. Dismal. I also took an animal in for a broken dew claw, paid around 700 dollars for the service, and found the other claw not clipped when I got home. He promtly broke it in a couple of weeks, doubling the risk to the dog and the profit to the practice. That one is a vet/tech oversight, it's unheard of to subject a patient to general anesthesia for a bilateral overgrown nail problem and ignore the other claw. I would say quality of vet experience slipped dramatically going from 2020 toward 2025. Everyone has to learn.. I learned to protect my dog from this practice.
