We are close to the mall and other restaurants and groceries store which I love. Never had any issue with anyone. The staff is very friendly and will fix any issues you may have. I have contacted the city again and hired my old mold testing company to come and review and test the black residue. Even the maintenance stated it was all over and came and took additional pictures after the restoration people sent them pictures with an estimate. I have one kidney and this could possibly be an unhealthy environment for me and my disabled son are forced to wait because they're waiting on an estimate to be approved.

Nope, it's not a retirement home. No nurses, no bed pans, no orderlies swiping their jammies. These are apartments designed for seniors, efficiency and one bedroom, some with railings, all with call buttons linked to the fire station. They are government subsidised. They have a waiting list. Maintenance on site. The sliding scale rent is NOT asset based, it's income based. They can have all the money they want in the bank and will only be accountable for the yearly interest. Each year they are reevaluated and medical expenses such as prescriptions and hospital stays are deducted as expenses. It's set up like a dorm with common areas, including laundry. They have weekly visits from health care professionals, insurance specialists, social workers and well meaning church groups loaded with casseroles and youth choirs. They have tea parties and pot lucks. There's a social worker on staff and EVERYONE receives commodities, regardless of financial status. I'd live there if I could, but its for seniors and median adults with severe disabilities only.

These…read moreapartments are absolutely gorgeous me and my husband moved from San Diego to Dallas and these apartments were the first ones on our list out of five... we went around 9 o'clock pm just to see the neighborhood and people were riding their bikes around the lake and when we drove into the complex there was a lady walking her dog, she was super friendly and assured us this is the place to move...we had a chance to visit 3 other apartments on the list and none even compared to white rock villas.... Next day we went to the leasing office and Deanne was super friendly and provided us with refreshments... we gave her an idea on what type of apartment we were interested in, she had a couple apartments for us to view. She was able to help us find the best apartment based on our criteria... the application process went smooth, we didn't have to jump through Hula hoops.... We we wanted to start the lease about a month and a 1/2 from our application and was able to do so... We signed the lease for MAY 9 2020 when me and my Husband arrived back in Dallas from San Diego Deanne and Shelley made the transition so smooth from the time we applied in March all the way to move in date... everything in the apartment was spotless and working properly... So grateful to have Deanne and Shelley working in the office... Even with COVID-19 happening they made sure our transition was smooth and made our safety a priority... Pros: Gated community Nice Neighborhood Chic-Fila and Sonic walking distance!! Updated cabinets and granite counter-tops, crown molding, wooden shutters, ceiling fans, etc. There is even a "virtual concierge" now so you can pick up your packages even when the office is closed. Love that is VERY dog friendly - and have met some really nice new friends via walking our dogs. The property is very well maintained, and any maintenance request I turn in is acknowledge within 24 hours, and then we set up a time that works for both of us. The maintenance crew is excellent. The ladies in the leasing office have been wonderful to work with. I just renewed for another 13 months!

It's frustrating to be ignored, especially when maintenance requests are supposed to be handled in a timely manner. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that management expects residents to follow every rule immediately, but when it comes to responding to tenants' concerns, they take their time and show very little urgency or professionalism. Instead of focusing on the real problems inside the apartments, management seems more concerned with making the outside look nice. Painting over buildings and making cosmetic improvements does not fix the issues that residents are actually living with every day. A fresh coat of paint doesn't get rid of bugs,fix maintenance problems, or make the apartments clean and livable. The lack of communication, delayed maintenance, poor customer service, and failure to address serious concerns have made living here a very negative experience.
