They will not pay you for the clothes value that they ruined, only the service they charged. After coming here for years and having several issues with them like making holes on some of our items, or even leaving stains on them, they have reached the limit with this. And just FYI they kept my clothes for almost a week to "fix" the issue. After trying to pick them up twice, I decided to just take them as they are and took the money back for the service. But now I need to see to fix the items myself or once again have to buy them. DON'T come here. The owners are rude and will not help when problems like this happen. I went to another tailor who could look at it and she kindly told me to go back to the tailor who damaged my buttons. She was also shocked as how this was possible and she even advised me that a good business practice is to resolve this issue with me. I went to Hai back to have them replace the damaged buttons that they themselves ruined, and to my shock, they refused to repair, claiming that any damage is outside their control and that they would charge me 20 dollars just to replace the buttons. I have made the fatal mistake of supporting this sorry excuse of a business by sending my clothes there for dry cleaning. I have no problem paying given that I am a professional and that my husband is a business owner so 20 dollars is not a big deal for us but their selfishness in not wanting to fix this for a problem that they caused is shocking to say the least. Deeply disappointed with this location. I dropped off 3 blouses and 2 pants, flagged makeup stains…read moreon the collars, and noted that my pants should have no creases, (which is also tagged on my bag). The employee (who turned out to be the manager) told me not to bother pointing out the stains and that she would handle it. She didn't. Every stain was still there when I got home, and my pants had creases. I called the store and was told the manager would call me back Monday. Instead, an employee called back minutes later to relay that I could bring the clothes in again, but they couldn't guarantee the stains would come out. These are standard makeup stains on collars. I've had them removed at other cleaners without issue. This wasn't a disclaimer about difficult stains, it was a deflection. Monday came and went. No call from the manager. No refund. I paid for a service that wasn't performed, flagged it in real time, and was met with indifference at every step. I will be following up and will update this review accordingly.

At Family Cleaners the front counter staff is always nice and polite, knows me by name and greets me accordingly. I had a little issue once and the owner stepped in an made things right immediately no problem. Since then I've been coming and will continue to patronize their family owned business. I often see his children helping out around the store which tells me he's teaching his children how to carry on the family business. I admire that.
