    New HVAC system

Art did an amazing job! He prides him self in honesty and integrity! Even with a last minute change Art moved the location of my condenser with no question. I will recommend Art to all my friends and family! Thanks Art.

If you're looking for honest work with great quality I would call Family Air systems. Especially during this pandemic it was hard to stay at home without air-conditioning. Answered the phone and gave me a great price.

This company did awesome. My whole entire house is cool. Ive never had that before they came in. I recommend them to anyone that needs AC repairs. A+. Thank you!

My AC went out at the end of last summer so I wasn't in rush to fix it, but with a shortage of everything to my shock everything went up. He quoted me the cheapest by 30% like others mentioned. And advised me since my unit was 12 years old to have the condenser unit replaced. When he was done, it was a lot smaller and a lot quieter then my old ac unit. He also laid out my options straight forward. I will be calling him for my future ac and heating needs.

    The old 'duct'

So, I buy this house, which has a roof mounted swamp cooler with ducts bringing cool air into the kitchen, and after about a month I went up in the attic to install a ceiling light. I dearly wish I had pictures of the old ducts...it was something you'd see on the Beverly Hillbillies...only not as cool. The ducts were all made out of wood, took up nearly the whole attic, and leaked cool air all over the place. I've attached a picture of the pile of wood that was formerly ductwork. I called Family Air Systems, and Art came out and gave an estimate for new ducts. He just finished the job. Wow! The ductwork he installed is solid. He took great care to put together a tight, professional system, going so far as to disassemble the swamp cooler to ensure a top notch installation that will last. He also did it ALL in one day, including cutting out the old 'duct' in a very cramped attic. Amazing! It's hard to convey just how much work this entailed, but lesser AC guys would take at least two days, if not more, to get this done. I now have clean, tight ducts, fancy new dampers, and shiny registers quietly blowing fresh, cool air. Bonus Points: The house is cleaner than when they arrived. Don't you just love a contractor that cleans up after themselves? I do! I now have my go-to guy for heating and air conditioning! Highly Recommend!

I sent out inquiries on yelp and Year Round was one of the contractors. They got back pretty quickly but I was unable to take the call for a bit and they were texting and calling a ton, very persistent. In general, the company seemed very friendly, very competent, but their pricing is quite a bit on the high side, and their sales tactics are a bit tired. I don't think they deserve a 1 star for it but fair warning to others to watch out for sales tactics. When I was finally able to field a call, they got a tech out the next day. Tech was very friendly, took amperage measurements of the capacitors and motors and priced out a new capacitor and fan motor for $1700 but mentioned a more senior tech was not far and he could come by and take a look. The more senior tech cleaned my condenser without me asking which, ok, cool, thanks, but that felt kind of like entrapment by doing it without permission so I was a bit wary that it was a tactic. They said that yeah the 1700 fix could get me through the season but that the system was on its last legs and that I should meet with a sales person to talk about replacing. I was a bit wary again, a dedicated sales person is a bit of a red flag. Told them I'd rather not, they then offered to replace the capacitor and the fan motor then and there and if I decide to buy a full system they'd credit that 1700 towards that. Again, I said no thanks (remember, my system technically still works), I'd rather not waste the tech's time if I end up buying anyway, which he hesitantly accepted. The sales person was supposed to come by in the evening and about an hour before they came by the fan on the condenser unit stopped working. I'm not saying they did anything to it cause I don't know for sure, but the timing was a bit too convenient so I'm putting it in my review. I went out and got it spinning again and it has worked ever since. He wanted to check the unit again when he got here and seemed a bit perplexed that when I said it was running fine. After he checked out the unit and we chatted about backyard stuff (guy was very friendly) we went inside and it turned into a timeshare presentation at my dinner table. He had laminated pages in a binder, package printouts, and everything. After some hemming and hawing about the differences between the units he shared prices. $24k for a single stage Lennox system, $27.8k for a 2 stage compressor Lennox system, and $34.9k for a variable rotary Lennox system. I was starting to understand why they were willing to "fix" my compressor at sunk cost with the bet that I would buy. The margin was huge. I asked if that included any duct work, he said no. I was about ready to say no thanks but then he found an excuse to "call their dispatcher" which just about made my eyes roll because this is such a tired sales tactic. TLDR, they "could offer my the two stage for the price of the one stage if I get the work done tomorrow" and that if I said no they wouldn't honor the offer in the future. I said I understood and said farewell. Again, very friendly, attitude seemed good, but there were so many coincident sales tactics that took place that made me feel really uncomfortable going with them.

She scheduled us for the first available appointment at 8:00 a.m. the very next morning. Our technician, Alexis, arrived on time and was incredibly respectful and professional. He walked through the issue with my brother and father, performed a thorough assessment, and clearly explained exactly what was causing the problem. After a brief conversation with my brother, it was obvious that Alexis and All City Plumbing were the company we wanted to trust with the repair. Alexis was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything he was doing. He even showed us, using a camera scope, that our pipes were clear and free of tree roots. That gave us tremendous peace of mind and ended up saving us a lot of money by avoiding unnecessary work. The quality of service, honesty, and professionalism were outstanding. On top of that, the work is backed by a one-year warranty, which gives us even more confidence in the repair. We will absolutely be calling All City Plumbing again for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

This review is for the customer service and possible discrimination…read more I used the company website to book two separate maintenance services for my primary home and a rental I own. I was requested to provide a credit card for the rental without even knowing what the services or costs would entail, so I refused to provide one and they just didn't show up for either of the scheduled services, nor provided a courtesy call. This morning, I tried to schedule a service again for my primary home (not the rental), and while there were available times on the website, I received a call demanding a credit card again saying my address was linked to a rental. I restated multiple times that the service I was requesting was NOT for the rental and the lady kept bringing up the rental. She finally said she would 'redflag' the rental address, schedule me for my primary home and would check to see if there were available times. She came back in 2 seconds and said there were no available times that she would place me on a waitlist. I informed her there were still slots listed on her website, and she said they are all gone now. I just went back to the company's website scheduling portal and they have several openings as early as 3/6. I feel this lady is discriminating against me or wanting to commit fraud by demanding a credit card without even quoting me on anything or getting details on the service requested. I am deeply disappointed and would caution people from soliciting services from this company. I had been receiving the company's flyer for over a year now and was finally excited to call because of the reviews and pricing listed on flyer. I am shocked at the lady who schedules and the demands for a credit card only to me. I had someone else try to schedule and a credit card was not demanded. I will take my business elsewhere.
