The woman in the shop blamed it on my weight b/c I had dropped it off 3 weeks ago. They undid all of the alterations they had done and magically the sleeves were longer again. So now I have to take the dress somewhere else while still paying the full price for them to have not altered anything but the hem. I understand still paying an amount for the work done but there should have been a discount for the issues that were had and the attitude of the woman performing the alterations about my weight. I will never go back and I would not recommend anyone else to them.

Kenner is pretty far out of my way, but they said they could do the job in the time frame I needed. As I arrived another customer was in the process of having her pants pinned for hemming. The shop was very small and movement was difficult with others in the shop. Once she was done, I climbed on to the pedestal and tried on my pants. The seamstress was very quick with her pinning which reduced my stress level greatly. I did feel slightly ridiculous standing on a raised pedestal with my head only a few inches from the ceiling, but I got over it. In the end, my pants were hemmed properly and the prices were reasonable. There was a slight communication problem when my order was ready, but we worked through it. In each instance, I've been accommodated and EXTREMELY pleased with the final product. Sewn items don't look like they were "made" and that certainly is worth its weight in platinum. Most recently, I used their services for alterations for my dress, alterations and embellishments to a jumpsuit and to hem my Dad's tuxedo. Having Hahn take on these key items allowed me to focus on all the other things because I know it would be just as I wanted - the first time and ready when she said it would be. I picked the items up and didn't even try them on right away because I trust D & D just that much! It's Grade A+ every time! I looked for the closest tailor, and happened upon this place right at closing time. The doors were locked when I initially approached, but a very nice lady then opened them and invited me in. The shop was very clean and organized.I apologized for being late, however, she was having none of it as she politely and professionally measured for the needed alterations. The pants alterations ended up being perfect. Most tailors and seamstresses can do the desired work in a professional manner, however, the owner of this shop made me feel special for just being her customer, no matter if after closing time, and treated me like I wish to be treated. They do an EXCELLENT job and the price is more than reasonable. I will not go anywhere else. They have gotten every kind of stain out of every kind of fabric for me and they do all of my altering and repairs. The place is not fancy but you will not get a better cleaning job anywhere.
