They never "dismiss" you and listen very carefully to anything you need to convey. (That's a HUGE plus in my book!) Compassion & quality time are first and foremost. This time I called with pain on Sat. and an appt. was set up that fit with my schedule. Referred by an extremely reliable source, I made my first appointment with Dr.Buxton's practice just over one year ago. Every interaction since has been smooth sailing (I actually look FORWARD to my visits!). *Kind front desk attendant/scheduler - always remembers my name and does her darnedest to find the right appointment for my finicky schedule. *Friendly and comfort-conscious dental hygienists (I usually see Leah - she's thorough and takes the time to explain exactly what's going on in and around those gums!). *And, of course, the calming doctor, himself. At my last visit I mentioned some discomfort that I was having with a crown applied years ago by another dentist. It hurt to bite/chew and I was worried something might be wrong under the dome, so he took a peek to check where my bite was coming together. Low and behold, the tooth needed to be filed down a little on one side - he fit me in directly after my hygiene appointment. I've been pain-free ever since! Jamie, the receptionist was very sweet, nice and friendly. Dr Nho was my endodontist and I told him about my fear of needles, so he applied a topical anesthetic first, then the novocaine needle. The procedure was very smooth and I felt no pain whatsovever. He was very good about explaining what he was going to do and the tools he was going to use to perform the procedure. Great experience. Definitely a recommended office for those needing dental work.

Instead of communicating with me directly about my own appointment, they chose to go through a family member the entire time. The front desk actually had the nerve to criticize both of us, saying no one else should be calling on my behalf. What makes this worse is they never even attempted to contact me directly; no phone call, no voicemail, no message. Yet still acted like I was in the wrong. When I tried to address the situation, they deflected responsibility and refused to connect me with a manager. I was told I could either wait for a callback or send an email, which is a weak excuse for avoiding accountability. This is not how a professional office should operate. Poor communication, zero respect for customers, and no accountability. I would strongly reconsider dealing with this place.
