I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

Not just food, mind you. Appliances, shoes, tshirts and underwear, computers, televisions, vision and optical, a full-service pharmacy and even a discounted gas station out front. If you're looking for a mecca to capitalism, world trade and just-in-time marketing, this is the spot. The process to sign up took entirely too long because the young lady wanted to talk and we just wanted to shop. But then we had our card and our shopping cart and we're filling it up with a bunch of stuff that we needed, we just didn't know that we needed. Keto pizzas, fresh grapes (not for the dogs!), a massive bag of spinach (yes, this is for the dogs), several bags of frozen veggies and more. Not everything was cheaper than Amazon or ALDI, but lots of things definitely are. You will want to be careful, don't shop hungry, and be aware that just because they sell it, that doesn't mean that it's the cheapest way to get it. We walked out with $330 worth of stuff. About what I expected. Costco gasoline is about 30 cents cheaper than the cheapest station in Charlotte.
