It literally was the place to be back in the day. I've seen the changes throughout the years, and I think it's still a great place to hang out. They've remodeled, and there are new stores and restaurants. There aren't many malls in the area now. There were other ones to visit back then, but they're all gone now. So, it's nice to know this one is still standing strong for the community. By the way, there are two Chick-fil-A's in the Mishawaka area. We prefer to come to the one in University Park Mall because it's less busy. Both are busy places, but this one isn't as congested. I'm also glad to see Barnes and Noble in this mall. With many book stores closing, I don't get to find one too often. On the weekends, it's hard to find parking, but honestly, it has been that way since I was growing up.

This mall is pretty cool and fancy and useful for everyone in the Lansing area, and with a traditional layout, with a large food court, and the sad part is it's kind of quiet. The outdoor stores across the street are 34 times as busy. This means that usually, for people who like checking out the hotties of either gender at malls, there are not that many hot people here, and I was left wondering to some degree how the Mall stores pay their bills.

Sadly though the Mall is a shell of its self from back then, multiple stores there are either closed permanently or just simply are forced to close for a small amount of time due to low amount of workers. Obviously the people who own said stores aren't at fault, but it's always sad to see places from your childhood begin to disappear.
