During such a hard time Deanna was present and thoughtful with my Moms things. She kept them safe and gave us an amazing check and an empty home to sell at the end of the sale.They spent a lot of time thinking about the price to sell items and the way to best display them. I can not say enough how helpful the workers were, and how they valued my experience through the estate sale. This company does not deserve a single star! Its been a very difficult time for our family, we hired this company to help us with our parents Estate sale. They were hired to do a job and they did not follow through with anything that was promised to us. It was a very poorly done Estate sale. No inventory or pricing was done prior so nobody knew prices of anything, no help was there and people ended up leaving because of the lack of assistance. They did not post the Estate sale 2 weeks prior as promised, so not a very big turn out. Due to no pricing items were being sold for nothing and our parents things were just given away. The owner and her workers(her family) went through beforehand and went "shopping", removing handfuls of things from our parents home. We were notified several times from the neighbors that people were coming in and out with all kinds of things. When Deanna was questioned about this, she became very argumentative and disrespectful, she was loud and rude. As if we had any right to question her for taking things from our house. She then said if we wanted to fire her we would have to pay her $2,000 for the work she and her company did. At this point we were beyond disappointed at her total disrespect. We felt very much taken advantage of. On the day of the sale my husband decided to be there to make sure everything went ok, as they already proved that they could not be trusted. Deanna approached my husband and demanded that he leave immediately! when he said no, that he needed to be there, she stormed outside the home and yelled, "Were not starting the sale till the owner leaves!" Our parents home is on a very quiet and lovely street, with other older couples, her behavior was absolutely shocking to say the least. Several people left, saying how disgusted and shocked they were by her behavior. After the 1st day sale ended they left, they did not straighten up anything, or clean up, it was left a mess. They didn't even throw away their own garbage. The 2nd day I decided to go with our daughter and niece, our niece had several things she wanted to purchase, while we waited in line Deanna was talking with the customer in front of us, it became clear to us that the family she was discussing was ours. Since Deanna never met me in person she had no idea who I was and that the family she was bad mouthing was mine. My heart sank, we stood there in total disbelief to hear Deanna discussing us in such a disrespectful way. Deanna was telling this lady that "the owners were causing problems the day before and she had to kick them out!", "that the owners were rude, and were horrible to work with", "that it had been a long and stressful job" and that after this one "she was thinking about quitting the business as it's too stressful". To be in our parents home and listening to Deanna disrespect us, was hurtful and unprofessional. There was no truth to anything she was saying.Deanna showed no class, or respect and her behavior was unacceptable. We noticed that Deanna did not write down the ladies items. And when we paid for our things, Deanna did not write those down either. Since everything is based off what she writes down, it was once again confirmed her lack of being trustworthy.We left paying barely anything, a great bargain for our niece, but for the Estate it was a loss.When the sale closed, Deanna and her workers dumped everything on the floors, left the house a complete mess, they took their tables, our money, the receipts to items she did write down, and left behind their empty coffee cups and food wrappers.However, 2 items that were taken from the house prior by them, magically reappeared by the door.. interesting..We later got a check from the company for our 50% of the sale. Including a receipt from her, with the things she took, and the price she decided to pay us for our things (She gave herself an amazing deal!) but no personal check from her, she instead added hers into the total sale, so she would get 50% back. This is not how you run a business, it is wrong and unprofessional. The stress and heartache this company put us through is unbelievable. We sadly learned a very painful lesson about trust, and dealing with the disappointment and stress from this very unprofessional, disrespectful company. while still grieving the loss of our parents.. Went to estate sale this gal is a snob and knows nothing about prices. No prices on.anything says so she can combo. I watched her quote a guy a price of 5$ told him eBay sells for more . She question opp test eBay but not what things actually sell for. But what they want. Anyway another guy ask price same item this time quotes 10$ price went up in ten minutes 20 minutes later different guy she says 12. She's a snob and a rummy. I bought a refrigerator from this company. I'm super skeptical and didn't expect much. What I ended up with was a really, really, nice refrigerator! Way more than I expected. The employee they had deliver it to me even took off my front door so it would fit in my house. Who does that? They plugged it in and even hooked up the water supply for the ice maker and water dispenser. Why can't all businesses have the same determination to please customers like these guys have. Please Note if I could opt to NO STARS, I would ...however was not given the option..I frequent estate sales on a weekly basis, I travel often from Southern California to Northern California, and this weekend I happened to be in Northern California.. My elderly parents, my minor son and my sister, decided to go to the advertises Upscale Women's Treasures sale by this company..I am sorry this will be a little long, but feel it should be stated, because the experience we , I had was horrible.... We walk in and the lady sitting at the door, greets us and immediately let's us know she "bundles"...so bring everything we want and will give us one good price, with that in mind, Ok so the sale had a lot of high end clothing from store 'white house black market' which I know (because I shop allot) Long story short, we gather several pieces of clothing my mom got a couple of quilts so my dad and one of her helpers , put everything on top of one of the quilts they each got a corner and took it to the lady, up front to cash us out.... She sees my dad and her helper coming, and this is where you can tell she was just Bothered, that we had all this Stuff, and she had to Get Up out of her seat to go thru it and give us a price, it was easy to tell she was frustrated, by the rolling of her eyes, and her loud tone, she starts looking at all the tags, and starts counting in her "head" gets to the middle and states...ok i am $204.00, so I don't know if you want me to keep going, so I said ok..that's fine, can you tell me what you are pricing the stuff at, and she gets perturbed, apparently so she says ok well I'm calculating in my head, I mean this isn't cheap stuff, this is Not a Garage Sale..... First of all it really kinda is... But anyways.... I told her I know that....I just also need to know what I'm paying for the stuff... She grabs the one quilt that all the clothes are under and she says well FINE this quilt is $30.00, this other one is $20.00.... So I politely said..ok well let's take those out,I don't want those, and she loudly...says ok YOU DONT WANT THEM TAKE THEM OUT FOLD THEM UP AND PUT THEM BACK.... Ok then....I tell her we can do that, and she needs to stop being so rude....she is huffing and puffing, and she steps out back, for a few minutes while we take the quilts out.... So she comes back in..and let me tell you if looks could kill... I wouldn't be writing this..I let her know we are ready she says ok wait a few minutes,,,,,,even though she had another lady sitting at the table charging, when she reluctantly came to help us...she apparently was tired and goes to sig back at the table, and goes on to help someone else.... Giving her a moment to calm down...we are waiting while she is rudely helping someone else,, because the lady changed her mind about a small bag of junk jewelry...... The man that helped my dad bring the stuff to the living room, asks us if we are ready...we tell him yes.... And he can see this lady has either forgotten she was helping us....so HE GOES and tells her , Hey they are ready to check out and she loudly tells him.....yeah I know they can WAIT..... EVEN THEN ...to not cause a scene in front of my parents, and my minor son.... I tell them you know what let's just go... She obviously has no interest in selling anything... So we quietly exit out the front door....and right when we are out the door..she YELLS ARE THE LEAVING?????? Then I lost it...(but not as bad ,had I been without my parents & son) as I was taught to be respectful to my elders...I turned around to face her and told her YES WE ARE LEAVING...YOU PUT ALL THAT STUFF AWAY, YOU JUST LOST A BIG SALE, BECAUSE YOU ARE RUDE, AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL... I know this May not go anywhere, but only hope anyone wanting to hire this company...think twice,, she is a miserable human being, and can't believe she is in the customer service field .. I don't know if she was the owner a worker, or what but either way....Lady you represent this field sooo badly...maybe you should find something else to do with your life, I'm afraid, you are going to talk like that to someone else that is going to lose it on you, and you end up getting hurt! Deanna and her staff are an absolute dream to work with. We hired Family Estate Services to liquidate items we did not take with us when we moved from California to Texas. Deanna stayed on top of everything from the moment we signed the contract with her. She was in constant contact with us and gave us daily updates on how the staging and sale were going. She even fed our 19 year old cat until the new owners took occupancy. I cannot speak highly enough about Deanna and the service provided to us by Family Estate Services. Reviews seem to focus on the service they provide those looking to liquidate and estate. However, our experience today when attending one of their estate sales was far from "good". To start with, there was a signup sheet for individuals to get in, which is common. Little did we know that those "in the know" were aware that they posted their signup sheet the prior evening. They significantly restricted the number of customers in the home, in fact as we waited a number gave up and left. We stuck it out for an hour. Most estate sale companies that restrict admission have a simple policy, when one customer leaves, a new one is admitted. Not sure what the policy was, never explained. After getting inside, found that many of the items were not priced. In order to get a price, you had to assemble your potential purchases, wait in a checkout line, and have the one person that could price dig thru things and come up with a price, which for most in line was way too high. We heard comments like "I checked this out on line, and this is a good price", or "it is easily half or less of what it sells for on line." If that is the case, sell it on line and don't waste the buyer's time. We will save quite a bit of time and frustration by avoiding sales from this company. read more

I hired Deanna owner of Family Estate Services in Rocklin to have an estate sale to sell household as retiring. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was professional got the job done and made me more than expected! No garage sale hassle. In addition she took care of the items that didn't sell.
