Called for carry out,as I've been sick all week..ordered fisherman platter ( haven't eaten much all week), husband got it home for me there was no scallops ( stated in on line menu) and everything else was burnt! We live 20 minutes away. All manager said was sorry. Salad was good, baked potato was good. Paying $17 dollars for a burnt dinner especially on a carry out, just pissed me off!!! We were in town for the weekend for a states bowling stopped here since it was next to bowling alley. The rice was gummy and it wasn't what they called fried rice and our meal made us sick like it was spoiled. read more

We frequent this place a lot so I have tried a variety of things on their menu. The goulash I had last Saturday was AMAZING! Although it was made differently than my childhood memory of my Mom's, it was so flavorful. Their taco salad is also very good. The crepes are delicious. No wonder grandpa loves this place. It's friendly, good, and affordable. The staff are super nice and patient. Our family gathered here after services for grandma. The staff was professional and accommodated our large group easily. We called ahead, of course. They have a private dining room in the back that worked perfectly for our needs. We didn't bum out the rest of the patrons and didn't have to stress with the hustle going on around us, being so somber. Big perk that they are not on Adrian water, they have Madison, therefore, you don't have to buy a bottle or worry about what is in your glass or ice. This is supposedly a family restaurant, but they shame nursig mothers. They ask them to leave while still expecting them to pay for food they didn't get to eat. The food is subpar, but it is at least cheap, and the wait staff is often rude in general. I will never go back. read more

I had the ribs and they fell off of the bone. That was impressive. The menu is expansive and other items are solid, if not spectacular. My rating is based on the service. Even when slow...you wait...and wait. And then if you want a refill, beg for one. It is a turn off to not see a manager walking the place and greeting tables, and this place is not engaged, nor ever has been but has decent grub. read more

Wife and I have been here several times in the last two weeks. Thought we had a new favorite restaurant until our last visit. Ordered an omelet that came with a big black hair in it. The waitress took it back and said they were remaking it for me. However I never did receive my food. My wife finished eating and the waitress never returned. We left and paid our bill. I explained what happened and it was taken off the bill. But my problem is that they never apologized or offered to make it right. I completely understand errors being made we are all human. My measure is how the error is fixed. This one wasn't and we will probably never return. read more

Strange food western omelette had no meat or cheese only green pepper, onion and a ton of mushrooms. Hot fudge sundae had mint chocolate chip ice cream. There were lots of senior menu items but make sure you ask whats on it. Service was very slow but they were busy. We won't be going back there. We have drove by this place many times and it has always been extremely packed. We finally decided it must be good if they always have so much business and decided to stop in. We sat right away but it took 10 minutes before we even seen a waitress. We ordered coffee, drank it and sat with empty cups for 20 minutes before we were even able to flag down a waitress collecting money off tables. When we asked if she could find our waitress for us because we would like more coffee she got nasty with us saying our waitress was 'busy getting your food'. Our food came at the same time as our coffee refills from a different waitress The food was OK. Was disappointed the Chocolate Chip Pancakes I ordered for my son were just pancakes with chocolate chips dropped on top but overall the food was not bad, until I bit into something so hard in my Greek Skillet that it felt like it chipped my front tooth. Very off putting. Needless to say, they may be busy all the time, but it will not be from us. HORRIBLE service from very unpleasant servers, no organization and no management. Don't waste your time. Go try ANY other place in Adrian and save yourself the irritation and disappointment. read more
