Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

I originally found them when I needed to move a piano and quickly realized that, based on the quotes I was getting, it was almost as expensive to move just the piano as it was to move the whole house. Thankfully they handled it with no problem. Both moves were smooth, the crew worked quickly, and everything was handled with care. Moving is stressful enough, so it's always a relief when the team you hire is organized and professional. Another reason I'm happy to keep giving them my business is that they volunteer their services for a food drive at a nonprofit I'm involved with. Seeing a company show up for the community like that really means a lot. Great service, dependable team, and a company that gives back. Hard to ask for more than that.

Jeff and his crew (Roy, Matthew & Aidan) came up with a solution for me that was very workable. They came out 2 days before the move and completely loaded up a U-Haul. They came back 2 days later with their truck and loaded up the balance of my property, moved both trucks to my new location and unloaded both. These guys worked like dogs, but very efficient and friendly dogs! They were extremely careful with my stuff, and the only thing that got broken was a piece that I transported myself. I should have let them do it. They came in under what their original time / cost estimate was. All of the big name interstate movers turn down small sized interstate moves. I must have called 12 different movers; which included the well known companies and some of the smaller ones. The local companies are happy to take your business for intrastate moves; but not interstate moves. I was concerned when no contract was required by Brandon. However, this guy can be trusted to perform what is agreed upon with just using text messaging. He is also very careful with fragile pieces; taking great care in delivering them in one piece. Some movers suggested shipping our boxes. However, this is not an inexpensive option. Plus ,unlike Brandon, who carries your boxes out of the unit and into your destination ( we have three levels ); the usual shippers require delivery to the store and drop off at the eventual destinations front stoop. As a side note, he charges/quotes based on the furniture you have over hours of service. I found this to be cheaper than other companies out there (especially if you just have one room of furniture like I did) so he's really nice for smaller moves like mine and I recommend him as well because of this. Movers didn't shrink wrap the mattress, didn't unscrew nightstand legs which are now broken, and the tv stand is damaged because movers asked to add items inside even though I had it empty. Their way of helping was refunding $150 to get a temporary mattress from Walmart and told me the claims department would be in touch in 3-5 business days. In the end they only compensated me $900 despite the thousands of dollars of damage. In addition to the damage, one of the movers the company set up for the CT delivery made inappropriate sexual comments to me while I was alone (I'm a young female). Do not use them!

Judy realized they didn't have a 3rd unit and called several other local storage facilities in an attempt to help me locate one. When that didn't come to fruition, Judy emptied the unit they use to store their items for the facility and rented that to me as well. The place is clean and secure. Easily accessed. If I ever need storage again, I will call Greenway Mini Storage first. And I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks.

Previously we had somebody else from another company out and they did not do the job properly. I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. But I will say that even if we do have another problem in the future, I know where to go - Response Crew is a no brainer and for sure I'll be a repeat customer for future needs!

Her positive attitude is contagious. She helped me with my storage needs. She was very thorough. She walked me through the property. The property is very nice. It looks brand new and extremely clean. It is centrally located, and unlike most climate controlled facilities. That one is actually cold inside. One of the things I noticed while touring the property was Renee knew all the renters that were on the property by name. I thought was wonderful. Throughout my three visits to the property to Renée was on site. One thing I will mention is being a store manager. I seen her personally with the cleaning cart and gloves on cleaning storage units cleaning as well as the facilities. As a manager myself, I thought her leading my example was amazing. She also checked on me to make sure I was doing OK because it was hot outside while unloading my U-Haul unit. She's very hands-on. She has a great personality. This store facilities is a very lucky to have her. I would highly recommend the facility based off of how clean it is, how well kept it, it's very centrally located in Phoenix. And of course, because of Renee.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the moving services provided by Familiar Movers Inc. I recently moved from Texas to Florida, and my experience with Familiar Movers Inc. was nothing short of a nightmare. The service provided was poor, and the customer service was horrible. A complete inventory was provided in advance and confirmed before the move timeframe. The price doubled when the movers arrived. The company knew we had to leave the house the next day, yet they assured us they could finish the job. To begin with, some of my furniture was missing, and many other items were severely damaged during the move. These were valuable pieces that I was counting on having in my new home. Additionally, the only employee that arrived to pack our goods had to post an ad on Craigslist to find help. We were initially told it would take two days to pack our furniture, but the time frame was changed to one day. Furthermore, they brought used and poor-quality supplies to pack my household goods, which did not protect my belongings as they should have. We were overcharged for services that were not provided, and the delivery was delayed, causing significant inconvenience. We followed the company's methods to submit a claim that would take almost $13,000 to repair or replace the damaged property. They responded with an offer of $81.00. I am incredibly disappointed with the service. read more

So I just settled into my new place and I want to take the time to thank family movers for making my move extremely easy and a complete joy. The day of the move they showed up on time. From the very beginning they displayed a great attention to detail, professionalism and exceptional customer service. I had all my belongings pre-packed in boxes and ready to go. So the day of the move everything was extremely quick and efficient. I noticed the attention to detail when I saw them completely covering and wrapping all of my belongings to to ensure that none of my belongings were going to be damaged. When we arrived at my new home they unloaded extremely quick brought everything into my home once that was done offered to set up my bed and even offered to hang art or mount my TV. So when these guys tell you they do it all they actually do it all and mean it. Again I want to say thanks or family movies and I want you to know that you have a customer for life. The two guys (Andrew & Alex) that moved many tons of heavy furniture with professional ease, were fast and efficient. I told them that watching anything done well is like viewing fine art, and their speed and precision as well as the care that they took in padding every piece was art! Alex and his team are the best at what they do. They were very flexible and worked around my schedule, and had a fast turnaround time for picking up my furniture. When they arrived, my furniture was thoroughly wrapped in moving blankets and securely stored in their truck. I highly recommend Family Movers. I hired them to move a 4 bedroom house worth of stuff. They arrived on time, were conscientious with my belongings (they wrapped mattresses, couches, etc in plastic and made sure to wrap up any glass table tops and breakables that weren't packed), and placed everything exactly where I asked. They even helped carry the patio furniture around the back. Their pricing was reasonable and they did the whole move in about 5 hours in the middle of July, which is pretty impressive. Not only did furniture arrive carefully bundled in blankets, but they carefully assembled a twin bunk bed unit upon delivery as well. Big Thank You to Ricky and Louis for delivering our very heavy furniture to the second floor of our house. All the pieces were professionally wrapped in plastic and blankets to protect them from damage. We will definitely used Family Movers again as well as recommend them to all of our friends. We hired this company to help unload our PODS. Paul and Jesse arrived on time ready to work. They were very efficient and responded well to our requests regarding placement of furnishings and such. They were very friendly and careful, and worked very hard with no problems at all. They worked great as a team for the bigger items. read more

The person I spoke with on the phone to get the quote and book the service was polite and didn't try to oversell me. I booked about 1.5 months in advance and had no issue getting my preferred date. Today the movers arrived. They can arrive between 9-11a and came at exactly 9. Both of the men were polite and careful with all my belongings. They took apart my bed from for me and wrapped some fragile things. They were also very quick. I am a single person that was moving from one unit to another in a large complex (so they loaded everything into the truck and then unloaded it). It took them about 1.5 hours (they charge a 2 hour minimum). Overall, great company. I would use them again and recommend them.

They used the entire 3 hours to not even finish loading a 2br house that was already packed; it just needed to be loaded into the U-haul. One worker got upset at my wife for calling them out for standing around, and said "f**k this we're leaving." I contacted Rico to see what was going on, he said it takes 4 hours to pack a 26ft truck, which is fine. However, that was the only truck available and our stuff only took up a little over half of the actual truck to which I explained that you're basing this off truck size and not the actual items in the truck. We could've fit our stuff in a 15ft truck if we could've gotten one, as you can see in the photo. There were only a couple items left in the storage unit to load when they left. Rico was talking to someone else while on the phone with me and completely ignored the issue. No resolution, no attempt to make this right, he asked if he could call me back cause he was busy...still awaiting that call back. So, we're just stuck with a half packed truck and no workers? Got it. Don't recommend. Hired another company (Smoove Move Movers), they finished loading the truck and unloaded everything to perfection in less than 2 hours.
