I've been looking for a nail place and have tried going to other places in the Rochester area and have always left disappointed with the experience. BUT I decided to take the risk and try this place out before my anniversary trip and I'm so pleased! I got a pedicure and a Gel manicure with Chrome and its perfect! She worked out the color from my inspo pic PERFECTLY (other places gave me terrible colors that didn't match at all to the photos I showed). The prices are completely fair for such a good job. Again, other places I would pay and arm and a leg while still leaving disappointed, but I cannot say the same for this place! Super Friendly staff and personable! Like the other reviewers mention, this is a no frills, get-the-job-done style nail salon. AMAZING prices, $45 for a basic mani pedi and $25 for a manicure only. I don't get my nails done often but do appreciate when I don't feel like I am selling my soul for the pleasure of sitting awkwardly as someone touches my feet. Good color selection here, easy location, but do be prepared with cash in as they only accept tip in cash. All the technicians were great and efficient, just know you will get rushed through the process pretty quickly. Overall a fine stop for a speedy service! read more

Got a pedicure here. They did a decent job. If you're looking for somewhere to get your nails done quick, I suggest going here. The pedicure took about 30-40 minutes. The staff is very nice. Asked for light pink french tips got this... I asked the lady 4 Times for light pink french tips. I wanted aesthetic nails for the first day of school. Now i have to spend more money to buy white nail polish so it dosent look like my nails are from Claire's. They were nice and sweet kept complimenting me. But messed up so bad. I want my money back. I've been coming here for a while and decided to leave a review! I highly recommend coming here and making an appointment first. They can be extremely busy at times!! I booked my 1pm appt yesterday and arrived on time, Yen, (some call her Jen too), took me right to the chair after I picked my pedi color. You can bring your own polish if you want to as well, but they have plenty to pick from. The pedi chair was clean, comfy and kneaded my back for 45 minutes!! I had her paint some daisies and silver lines on my big toe, designs are $5 extra. Next, my gel mani/fill since I have acrylics. I go back and forth at times, taking them off and just having gel too. This time was the fill and gel with design. I always pick a picture from Pinterest and go with it. Yen does a great job with her design work. (There have been times, when the design I show her is not possible, but she does great free hand designs too!) In and out in 1.5 hrs and I'm very happy for the next 2-3 weeks!! read more

My first time getting a pedicure and it was a good experience. nice and quiet. received more than what I expected. At first I was reluctant to go, in my mind this is a place facilitated more toward women than men. But I see now is more unisex than the years before. I really enjoyed after a long week of being on your feet the warm water soaking and a strong soothing feeling. I truly recommend any man to try it. passing on in a man perspective. read more

Family Nails is located in Spencerport next to Pontillos. I stop in here for a pedicure when it is time, and they always do a great job. I never call ahead, just a walk in. I tend to go here for my pedis because I think they last longer than the fancy schmancy salons. That is why I am giving them such a high rating. They also have a lot of options in high quality polishes, as well as gel polishes. I know customers come here regularly for acrylics and fills. If you want a natural nail mani pedi, it is only $35, and $25 for just a pedicure. They are also open on Sundays. read more

The staff here take their work seriously. They do an impeccable job and will make sure you leave happy. My manicurist tried out 6 different colors on me until she found the exact match to the color I came in with on my toes. She was fast, but super careful and the results were perfect! I have had a lot of pedicures in my time, but never, ever have I had one that lasted 15 minutes. My son's girlfriend and I had 2 pm appointments yesterday 9/6. We arrived right at 2, chose our polish and sat down. At 2:17 they had us out of the pedicure chairs and sitting with our nails under the dryers. $30 for 15 minutes, times 2. I don't know the names of the 2 gentlemen that worked on us, but I will certainly never patronize this salon again. read more
