I went here and got a gel manicure. First of all, I called with almost no warning. I asked if they had any appointments within the next 2 days with limited hour availability and they got me in no problem. They were super friendly and accommodating. I brought a picture in of the nails I wanted, which apparently was something they hadn't seen before, and wound up duplicating it to perfection. I wish I got the tech's name, but the care she took to get every line as clean as possible is immaculate. Each end of the design is even and perfect. Between each client, they sprayed everything down with sanitizer. The chairs the clients were in, the chairs the techs were in, surfaces, knobs, everything. I didn't worry for a second about the sanitation or COVID in their shop. I highly recommend this salon! read more

I am in town from Los Angeles for work and I called hoping to get a last minute appt in my downtime. They had a cancellation and we're able to squeeze me in right away. I wish I would have gotten the names of the girls who did my pedicure and manicure but they were both wonderful. Meticulous, took their time, made sure everything was perfect. After months of hearing fellow yelpers talk about this place, I made an appointment. No walk-ins because they are super busy (which is a good sign) so you have to call. No online appointment options either. So, if you know me, that made it a super commitment on my part. Due to my schedule and their business, it took about 2 weeks to get in. Well worth the wait! The parking lot is super small and only one side so pay attention! They have a sign on the door that says you can get towed if you park on the wrong side. I opted for a dip manicure and a regular pedicure and my wife opted for just a pedicure. We both left much relaxed and with nice feet and great looking nails. Prices are comparable , or better, than other shops I've been to. They can do acrylics, designs, etc. Just be clear when making your appointment. They do offer water, etc. I'd suggest bringing your own bottle of water or soda, etc in case you are extra thirsty. Cash, credit card accepted. Already made our next appointment! read more

I have wanted to try TT Nails Spa ever since I've seen the excellent reviews on Yelp and Google. I called ahead only a day in advance and was able to get in for a pedicure the next weekday at noon. The shop was very cute and the employees were really nice! They had a great selection of colors (normal polish, gel, and dip). The pedicure took less than 40 minutes, but the technician did a great job. Their attention to detail stands out from other salons. The prices are very fair and similar to other nail salons in the area. I definitely plan to come back in the future! I had been here once before when Ty squeezed me in so I didn't have beat up nails for a wedding. I knew he had a tight schedule so when I needed last minute nails before flying out to an important job interview this week, I went to another shop in town... Huge mistake. The other shop was a nightmare and even trying to gently point out a hair in one nail and a lifting tip on another were fruitless. I wound up with heavy, lumpy, pinching, crooked nails that HURT and looked crazy. I literally cried when I saw them in better lighting. I called Ty this afternoon to check if he had any cancellations or room first thing tomorrow before my flight. He took pity on me and stayed late for me. He really put a lot of attention and care into salvaging them the best he could and was so, so sweet about it. He took my ratchet shoddy nails and turned them into Instagram nails, y'all. He has much better photos, but I wanted to immediately share how incredibly happy and relieved (physically and emotionally!) he made me! He just earned at least three new regulars from this one charity job. I just remembered - he also charged me half what the other shop did and said he felt BAD for having to charge me. I tipped him the rest of what I expected to pay and then some. What an absolute hero. read more

I was able to make a same day appointment, which was much appreciated. I'm always hesitant to try a new place, but my person at my regular shop wasn't available so I checked it out. The smell of fumes as I walked in was so strong. I'm not sure why that's true of some salons and not others. Parking is a nightmare and you're likely to get your car blocked in. However the reason I won't be back is my powder dip nails came out with so many air bubbles. It looked really sloppy. I won't return. read more

Stopped in here after a recommendation from a friend for a pre-Christmas gel mani. The space is warm and bright, and there were 3 technicians working when I went in. They were ready for me right away (after I moved my car-- apparently you can't park anywhere in the lot but right in front of their shop), and I picked out a gel color from a vast selection. I didn't catch the woman's name who did my nails (she was the oldest one) and although she did nick my cuticle, it was pretty minor. She was super thorough and shaped my nails exactly how I wanted, despite a badly broken nail that I'd arrived with. My manicure still looks almost perfect four (FOUR!) weeks (WEEKS!) later, except that it's grown out quite a bit and my nails are now longer than I can generally manage, which is the only reason I'll be removing it this week. One odd thing was that my $5 tip on my credit card was somehow increased to $15, but my cc company reimbursed me for the difference and I'm going to assume it was a mistake. They do have a note asking for cash tips, but I didn't have any on me that day. They also only take MC or Visa cards. Update: I've been back many times, and still amazing! Due to a change in schedule and driving restrictions I had to find a place to get my nails done. That I could get to either with a ride or a Uber round trip that would not break the bank. I found Ty and TT Nails on Yelp and Instagram and started reading the reviews. So I thought ok I will give it a shot. I am glad I did, it's situated in a converted home on Monroe Ave in the Brighton/Pittsford Area. The inside is modern and clean looking but since that was a home it still has the fireplace mantel and the color scheme is nice and calming if your not in the mood for loud colors. You're greeted when you come in and sign in, it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. This is not a place you can really walk in because they are really busy and I can understand why. Prices are very reasonable seriously! You are offered water, coffee, wine or whatever you would like. The feeling you are in a calm place and the staff makes you feel calm. You can have a regular manicure and pedicure, get yourself a gel or even acrylic nails or a fill. He's got tons of gel colors and regular colors. Feel free to bring in your own too. Ty does my nails and if you're not sure about a color he will help you find the best for you. He wants you to be happy and will try the color out on you if your not feeling it let's try something else. If your getting a fill he'll ask to you want them this length or shorter. As I have only been here a few times I've gotten complements on my nails and as they grow out they still look good. I have already made a few more appointments going forward. If you want to do a group event here I would say do it as everyone seems super happy with the results. I would contact them for more info on that as I think you may need to put down a deposit but it goes toward service so it's worth it as Ty and his staff's time are worth it. I think I have found my "new nail place" They have a small parking lot, you can Uber here too.. give them a shot. read more

Wonderful find again thanks to my Yelper friends! Stopped in as I drove by and remembered some great reviews I had seen. I went without an appointment on the chance that they may have had an opening. It appears that they don't usually have time for walk-ins but they were super accommodating and had a small hole in their schedule to fit me in for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. Immediately upon walking in you feel the cozy and welcoming atmosphere and know that you are in a for a treat. Pedicure with comfy massage chair and basics with a lot of care done to cuticles and perfect polish. Gel manicure was excellent! My nails are a mess due to work related hand washing and when I left you would never know it! They have a large array of regular and gel colors to choose from and with make some recommendations if you need help deciding. Pricing is pretty much the going rate... $50 for regular pedicure/gel manicure. They take credit but prefer cash tips. Phuong did my gel mani and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend anyone here though, everyone was so friendly and appeared to really care about their work and making sure you love your nails. We got there at our scheduled appointment time and they had us sign in and ask what service we would like done. I chose the gel mani and regular pedi because my nails chip a lot easier than my toes. The price here is extremely reasonable - $50 for gel mani + pedi. There were 5 people working - Ty + 4 other ladies who were all extremely friendly and nice. Since we have 8, they could only work on 5 of us. Ty came around and gave us delicious eggrolls made by his aunt (SO GOOD) while we were choosing our nail colors. The girl who worked on me was really nice and efficient and also did an extremely nice job on my nails and toes. My toes, after 2 weeks, still do not have a single chip. My gel mani lasted also 2 weeks but since my nails were growing, I took that off. Excellent nail salon, friendly staff, and great color selection. Second time coming here and I LOVE this place. Their customer service is amazing. While getting my nails done, I enjoyed peanut butter filled pretzels and water. The first time I went, they also offered wine and coffee. I made 2 appointments for my sister and I at 6 and we were helped the minute we walked in. They have a huge selection of gel nail polish colors, which I very much appreciate since I get a gel manicure at least once every 2 weeks. Two different nail techs have done my manicure and both times, they COMPLETELY got rid of my cuticles (as you can see in the attached pics). I'll probably never go to another nail salon.
