After seeing 4th street cookie company at the Saturday Farmers market and hearing about their ice cream sandwiches I finally got to give it a try. I went up on a Saturday night and got and ice cream sandwich. For $7 you can pick your two cookies and ice cream flavors. They're made fresh and package in a plastic to go container. It was delicious. Cookies, ice cream, milk shakes and coffee can also be purchased here. Credit and cash both accepted. There is no seating in the shop, but there are boardwalk benches right outside.

Oatmeal cookie sandwich with cinnamon ice cream

Seemed like a gimmick, but best thing I have ever eaten. Very huge for the price (can share amongst 2 people but messy). The freshly baked cookies are soft yet chewy and the ice cream a perfect balance of cold and creamy. Cinnamon ice cream (tasted like a churro) between oatmeal raisin cookies was a great choice. Double chocolate cookie stand-alone was delish. Daydreaming of returning here.

$20 cash for ice cream and 6 average tasting cookies that have been getting smaller each year. The kids working here are well trained, attentive, and friendly. The ice cream is Bassets. It's close to our house and convenient which is why we come here occasionally but definitely not worth going out of your way for. read more

We were intrigued by the build your own layout of the menu but we were not served a chipwich style treat. We were served a heaping scoop of ice cream pressed in between two cookies and it was way too messy to pickup and eat. The messiness really took away from the experience. Also, as we were paying one of the employees started announcing to patrons on the boardwalk that all cookies were $1 - meanwhile we just paid full price one second prior! I didn't like that. read more

So much deliciousness in one place! Loved their cookies and ice cream. Friendly cute staff (loved the Jamaican girl) were collecting dollar bills being fling at them by teenagers and trading them fresh baked cookies! Seems like after 11 the price of the cookies drops from $2 to $1. What a bargain! A classic wildwood boardwalk treat. read more

On our recent WW trip, we actually tried this place twice. Once later on at night when they do cookie sales, and once earlier in the day. Neither time did we have an amazing experience. It is very clean inside and the staff is very friendly! They are very quick with service. So no issue there. The cookies are ok. They had a weird taste to them as if there was club soda in them I do not know how to describe it! It had kind of a bubbly, gassy after taste to them. At first we thought that it was a fluke because it was night, but we went back 4 days later, and had the exact same experience. I remember on my previous trip how amazing they were! Sad how they have gone down in quality... Maybe ill try them when we go back next year! Hopefully others dont have the same experience.. read more

I'll keep it simple, if you're looking for a snack on the beach then you need to stop here. I've been coming to the jersey shore every summer for over a decade and this is easily the best ice cream I've found. Even if we're spending the day at another beach my family will make the drive to Wildwood for this, that's how good Famous Cookies is. I go with the Raspberry truffle, my wife loves the Salted Caramel Pretzel and our daughter goes nuts over the mint chocolate chip. There's no such thing as a bad beach day when you're ending it at Famous Cookies Creamery! read more

The fixed 4 course meal was absolutely delicious and the only menu offered for restaurant week. Side note: I can't wait to go back for their regular menu. Our waiter, Al, worked his tail off taking care of the entire downstairs dining area along with two women who were hostessing bussing and setting up new tables. They were attentive but not overbearing (which I appreciated). I was dining with another individual and we each choose for the first course (choice of salad). We chose the Caesar and it was fresh and could have used a tad more dressing in my opinion but I also wouldn't want it drowning in dressing. Great flavor. Next course was a set 3 pasta sample offering which included a sample of their gnocchi in Gorgonzola, the second was a penne with a very good marina and the it'd a cheese ravioli in a blush sauce. It was difficult for us to pick which one was our favorite. They gave you just enough of each offering to leave you wanting more in the future. The third course was a choice of 5 or 6 (I honestly can't recall because I was too busy discussing how good the pasta and sauces were (I find some times that either the pasta is well executed but the sauce could be hit or miss and let me tell you every pasta and their corresponding sauces were absolutely delicious. I digress, back to the third course ... there were 2-3 fish offerings, chicken parm or a steak each with their own accompaniments. Ironically both of us chose the chicken parmigiana because honestly I had fish the evening prior. This chicken parmigiana was melt in your mouth delicious. My companion agreed! The last course was a dessert offering of tiramisu, lemon dessert which I believe was a cake offering some sort or a cannoli. We opted for the cannolis. Mind you the cost was $40 per meal and honestly I was stunned at the low price per meal in comparison to its the quality. I was told that Sabbia is going to close in a few weeks until the spring We will be back for sure and thank you for the wonderful food and service! PS - I had to revise my foregoing post because the below pix is the chicken parm that was the third course I chose of the restaurant week menu and let me tell you I wound up taking half if not 2/3 of that parm home last night. As did my companion. I reheated it this evening and on day two that parm was melt in your mouth delicious. I would go as far to say that it is the best chicken parm I have ever had at the jersey shore (possibly anywhere). And for me that is saying a lot. I never give a 5 star on the first dine ... typically I update my rating after going somewhere several times. to think I have to wait until spring to enjoy more of the menu. I had been meaning to eat there sooner and now am sad that we had many a meal this past year that fell short of what Sabbia D'oro is offering. Kudos to you, Sabbia D'oro! Keep making excellent food. I am needless to say a huge fan!

My girlfriend and I came for the first time shortly after opening on a Friday afternoon in August. There were only a few other customers during our time there. The beer was pretty good. The two standouts for me were the Wah Wah Watch butterscotch ale, and the hard birch beer. I've seen plenty of NJ breweries that make their own root beer but never a hard version. They seem to be known for their seltzers and have quite a few on tap, many more than I've seen at other breweries. The staff were exceptionally friendly. One of them asked us if we could be his guinea pigs and let us try half a pint of some sort of strawberry concoction. Later when there were six of us sitting at the bar, he let us all try a full taster of their soon-to-be-released pumpkin beer, complete with a cinnamon sugar rim.
