After visiting a podiatrist for my calluses and mild bunions she recommended I visit Walking…read moreComfort in Centerville for a few brands of dress shoes for work that offer support. Alec, the sales rep at Walking Comfort was incredibly helpful and assisted me with finding the recommended brands, shoes styles I liked, and trying on a variety of styles and sizes! I walked out with two shoes, a nice wedge heel from Alegria and a loafer from Vionic. They were a bit pricey, but it's definitely an investment to better my health! Alec told me their styles generally rotate every 6 months or so with the seasons. I will definitely be back again to purchase more shoes from this location!

They have a wide variety of shoes for every occasion, and they're all supportive and good for your feet! Some stores that sell good shoes seem to carry really ugly stuff, but I actually found a lot of cute options here. The stuff they carry is expensive because of the quality, but everything I've bought has been totally worth it. Some of the workers here are great, and some are not. I've actually been so bothered by one of the girls before that I left and came back another time when she wasn't there...that's the main reason I give 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that one experience, most of the other workers are very helpful, kind, and not pushy. Overall, I like this store and whenever I need a good new shoe, I'll come here.

Someone stole my car keys in the dressing room area, went back seconds later after loosing them, and nobody seemed to care or interested in helping me, all while being incredibly rude as well, specially the associate who was there when I dropped the keys, when I was handing her the clothes back, she saw them and did not say or do anything or even place them In the lost and found, which is very dishonest and irresponsible, not to mention suspicious, their response was, people loose keys and other things here all the time! Well good to know I guess. I have never written a review but I have also never lost car keys. Therefore this one I had to share. We had to tow the car and speak to the police about this. Terrible people working there, Terrible customer service, visit other ones in Salt Lake City. Please try to avoid this one or you may loose personal belongings.

However, for some time now the selection at this location has become increasingly bad, and the store is never organized. Today was the worst I have ever experienced. Literally empty shoe shelves, about a dozen 2T clothes options and lots of broken items being marked down. I felt sad leaving and feel there is little reason to go back. If you love the family of stores, visit Home Goods and Marshall's at Station Park for cleaner stores, better selection, and a happier shopping experience.

Please excuse the digression, but I have to do it: If this is FAMOUS Footwear, what would be…read moreINFAMOUS Footwear? Maybe the Bruno Maglis OJ Simpson wore during his double murder? The one Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev banged on the lectern at the UN in 1960? The not one, but TWO shoes Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al-Zaidi threw a George W. Bush during a December 14, 2008 press conference? Anyhoo, while the Infamous Footwear store might be power-packed with history Famous Footwear has, obviously, all of the most famous (or, shall I say, popular) footwear brands. This location is at the Farmington mall known as Station Park. Let me use as sort of a litmus test my favorite brand, Vans. FF has the second most voluminous selection of Vans at Station Park ... the first is the actual Vans STORE there, so that's saying something. When you include stores like Zumiez, DXL, Tilly's, etc., also carrying Vans, it's pretty impressive ... and the prices are good. There's almost any brand any man, woman, or child would want. Nikes seem to be the most prevalent. Also a lot of Adidas, Converse, Roxy, Timberland, Birkenstock's, New Balance, Reebok, Crocs, Asics, Doc Martens, and Puma (just to name a few). If you have a kid or kids in tow, you may not escape without a new pair of light-up shoes. Famous Footwear is also teeming with countless types of shoes: athletic, hiking, and dress are the most prominent. And remember, they're NOT a SHOE store ... FOOTWEAR is part of their name. This means plenty of sandals, flip-flops, boots, slippers, and socks. Also, you will see them pushing brands that may be unfamiliar: Connie, Dr. Scholl's, Franco Sarto, Fergalicious, Naturalizer, and Sam Edelman. This is because FF's parent company owns these brands, and, in the case of Connie, is their own "private label". It's hard to review or compare chains as QC, inventory, and service are pretty-much going to be the same across the board. For chains like Famous Footwear--with excellent selection, prices, and customer service-- consistency is a great thing to have!

I went into the store to buy back to school shoes for my kids. The manager named Vickki Was awful…read more She was incredibly rude when I asked her to help us. I asked her if she had any shoes that were pink running shoes for my little girl. She looked at me and said that they didn't have any such shoe in their store then looked away. She didn't even try to find any shoes like this. I gave her two pairs of shoes they did have in their store and ask her if she could just see if they had my daughters size to which she said no she couldn't and she could not call any other stores because "this famous footwear doesn't call other stores for customers". So it looks like I am not shopping at famous footwear anymore if this is how they treat their customers. I kept trying to be kind but I'm pretty sure this lady is out to destroy any relationship anyone has with her store.
