The shop was a little busy when I got there but Jim was able to help me. he measured my foot and asked a few questions about my lifestyle in order to recommend some styles that would work. Jim brought out a pair of Hoka Bondi 8 (a style i tried on a year ago at another running store) as well as a similar style by another company. I tried both pairs on and made my choice. No races, no running groups etc. I basically walk 3-3.5 miles every morning at 5 am. Well, I experienced some discomfort in the ball of my foot and decided to check out shoes that might be better than to "off the rack" Amazon Ascics I am accustomed to. They assess my gait and recommend a shoe for that style. Saucony is the brand I selected at roughly 2x the cost of Amazon but a WORLD of difference in performance. These sneakers are cushioned and have more control. After 2 rest days and wearing I am pain/discomfort free. No judgement here, even though I don't look like a seasoned running guy. I'll be back, lesson learned.

This is a nice store. It is not glamorous (though I think they are trying). The clothes are down to earth clothing, not much stuff for the younger crowd. Mostly they stock women's clothing, shoes, bags, accessories. They have a very small men's department. When I was there they had a huge selection of Vera Bradley bags. It is hit or miss. One thing many may not know is that Linda's husband sells things on E-bay. With the population aging, there are more and more people who need this service. I go to this location primarily for clothing and home essentials and have done some formal shoes shopping in the past too. They do have Amazon drop off location for returns the service is pretty fast. The staff here is always friendly and willing to assist us in need.
