Peak Performance was a recommended location and we were not disappointed Manager was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. As part of the fitting process, the store conducted a gait analysis to better ascertain which type of shoes would be most suitable Found two pair that met our requirements and walked around the store in both. Then were able to get on the store treadmill and actually run in the shoes that were selected to get a realistic feel for them. Most outstanding Store only carries the top end running shoes from a number of manufacturers to include Ascic, Brooks, Nike and others. Prices that were observed start at $80,00 and go up I very good and informative purchasing experience. Definitely will use this store again. Oh and the store has a loyalty program where if you buy a certain punt of product over a period of time, you will receive a free pair of shoes. Especially relevant for those putting a lot of miles on their shoes on a regular basis.

Surprisingly, the prices were very comparable and right in line with the market. What really made the experience stand out was Chad. He took the time to work with my son and help him find the right pair of skates, even though we were not planning on buying skates when we walked in. My son did the foot analysis and Chad helped guide us through the options to find what truly fit him best. Were the skates expensive? Yes, but hockey gear always is. The important thing to me was that Chad did not charge us any more than what you would expect anywhere else. The pricing was fair and consistent with the market, which I really appreciated. Chad was fantastic. He took the time to explain the skates, the fitting process, and why certain models would work better than others. It never felt like a sales pitch. It felt like he genuinely wanted to make sure my son had the right equipment. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Pure Hockey is a no brainer. Five stars out of five stars. Said a new replacement garment would be ordered. Several emails asking for info and was promised the garment was coming with each email. This started in November and so in March I finally asked if I were just out of luck and he apologized, asked for my address and said he wanted to send me a refund check. That was 6 weeks ago and still no check. Sad part is, I wouldn't have left any negative feedback had they followed through on any of their commitments.
