Not all TJ Maxx are created equal, and the Shadow Lake store proves why. This store is much larger than the west Omaha store. It has a much better selection with more elevated brands here than I've see there. It's a weird mix of being clean and organized, and then in other areas a complete cluttered mess. shopping at TJ Maxx today and while being checked out 2 employees, one lady with black hair & a green streak in the front of her hair, Stephanie was talking about a 2 year old autistic little boy who happened to be waiting at the front door about him making noises. I was here earlier today. No one in the store really spoke to me but I prefer that. It really depends on the type of person you are. Bathrooms were decent, they had toilet paper and toilet covers which normally at any department store they're out of one or the other. This tjmaxx is a bit bigger than other locations and I actually found the exact product I was looking for. I was at another beauty store earlier but I found that product 4$ less at tjmaxx. I always find things cheaper here vs at other stores which I love. Checkout was fast so I didn't even wait in line. They did have a low quantity of table covers and mops this time around but it really matters when you go. Maybe next time they'll have more! read more

Perfect place to Maxx out your credit card because it's perfectly cheap and is an excellent discount store. I found a few cool things inside this TJ Maxx but Barbie told me not to buy any of them so I didn't. They have a pretty good selection and are pretty enormous (yes I'm talking about Barbie's boyfriends) but not much in the muscle type section which is known as activewear for men - has to be in the small size or occasionally I can wear the medium size. Kinda low on the stock for that sh** here. It's a good store - though a little bit hard to get in and out of - as the mall area is so busy, but we will probably visit again, and it's a great addition to the Nebraska shopping scene. read more

This TJ Maxx store is off the 370 in Papillion in the Hyvee Town Center. Parking was relatively easy to find near the store. The store is clean and well organized. Large signs direct shoppers to specific areas i.e. kids, toys, pet section. I spent the most time in the pet section especially due to the amount of products, two rows of discounted prices, and having a majority of dog products than cats. Kuma, the newly acquired Akita pup is arriving home for my number 1 son and I wanted to pick up some helpful products. There is a good selection of chew toys and training kibble. Checkout was very easy and the cashier was very friendly. Overall, a good stop while traveling on the 370 highway. read more

As one of 4 or so TJMaxx locations in the Omaha area, this location does pretty well. I love coming here for the home decor and pet items. They have such great selection that is always changing with inventory. Very trendy and cute items that you can usually get a fair deal on. They have women's, men's, kids, homewares and decor, shoes, beauty/jewelry/accessories and pet items. Great place to find things for your house or a gift- and the staff at this location is helpful and nice. read more

I come in here for the sometimes hard to find cookware and kitchen gadgets. Occasionally I venture elsewhere in the store for home warming gifts and odds and ends furniture pieces. The products are of higher quality for less than the malls prices though I'm always up for a deal that isn't why I shop here. read more

After being sick all weekend...I ventured out to my local store to look around...but maybe I should've stayed home! Customer service is a big deal when you're in retail, right? Right! Well not today at this location! As I browsed the home goods aisles, 2 employees were busy (ignoring) customers and stocking shelves....I mean, I get that it's part of the job but where's the friendliness? Body language read, "Leave me alone"....a simple smile with a hello was all that's needed. Management should take it back to basics with the customer is the most important thing on the store! It would be difficult to give a discount store a full five rating, but it sure comes close. They have a wide selection of name-brand clothes and other items for good prices. Yesterday (5/20) I found a number of bargains there -- good quality merchandise for a fraction of retail. Had a problem with my credit card (which the telephone customer not only failed to resolve, but actually made worse, but that's another story), but the very gracious check-out employee handled with grace, coming up with a solution. I left a satisfied customer. I want to thank and commend all the employees there, from the dressing room attendant to all the check-out clerks and managers. They were very friendly and professional.
