I have only had good experiences at Lush Nail Studio. I have been going to them for a few years now and have been happy with all of my manicures and pedicures! One time a friend was visiting and she got a regular nail polish manicure that chipped. I am a happy customer! I've been at this nail spa in my neighborhood for a few times so this is a late review. They always find a way to squeeze me without appointments and all the staff there is attentive, efficient and friendly. Shout out to my man Kevin who has given me at least 3x gel pedicures. The lady I want to praise is the one I actually didn't get a name of...smh sorry! It was on December 13th, Tuesday afternoon. She did my holiday gel and applied the little rhinestones to emulate the hollies like I asked her. She liked my idea and took pictures of them too. I really contemplated with leaving this review because the lady who did my nails was very sweet and she really gave me a great foot and hand massage. I got a Mani/Pedi. This was my first visit. Not too long of a wait. She spent so much time massaging my feet and legs. When it was time for the manicure, she spent a good amount of time massaging my hands and arms -- I was loving it because who doesn't like a good massage. Unfortunately, I came to get my nails done which I was overly unsatisfied with. I chose, what I later found out was regular nail polish, and not gel. The lady doing my nails said it would look fine which I was apprehensive about because -- it's regular polish -- and gel, as we all know last longer. Against my better judgment, I tried it anyways. Let this be a lesson to stick to what you know. She really did provide a good massage, so even now I'm sad to have to say that I'll never go back to the nail shop. She painted my nails and it looked like a child painted them. She had to go pick her kid up so after she set me under the hand dryer, she left. No one came to check to see if my nails were dry or not. After perhaps 20 minutes I got up, paid and left. When I looked down at my hand, the nail polish STILL WASNT DRY and it was wrinkling and looking ridiculous (pictures attached). I spent $61 on a mani/pedi which wasn't horrible but STILL, I'd like to love my nails! I didn't do a chargeback like my heart wanted me to. I charged it to the game because the massage was excellent. NOT TO MENTION my foot skin is peeling very bad. I'm not sure what happened but the next day I looked at my foot and noticed it was peeling. I'd done nothing more than gone home and took a shower. 10 chairs for pedicures. Was able to walk in on a Sunday with my daughter and get services done right away. My 10 year old got a gel manicure for $30 before tip. I had a wonderful gel pedicure for $60. The massage chairs were super comfortable and the guy did a great job on the pedicure- very relaxing, very good massage. read more

Oh how very disappointed, hurt and offended I am at the way I have been treated. I've been coming here to get my nails done by Jenny for quite some time. Services have been mediocre but I thought I connected with Jenny and thought she understood the hardships I go through in life and go there for a bit of self care. Well even though the services have not been up to par I have not complained... the one time I said she cut my tips too short in a very nice way... I guess she could not handle it...I was extremely nice about it and asked her to maybe to start over with a new set she said no this is good for you because you do too much at home and it's better. I didn't say anything and paid for a service I was unhappy with. I gave her a pass and rebooked my next service... unbeknownst to me I show up for my next appointment and she began to put on a huge drama show that she doesn't feel good and has a lot of anxiety. Of course I understood and said I would come back a different time.... she said no and pawned me off to another technician... I said no I would rather come back another time...she proceeded to be fine and told me that I wasn't happy with her services so she would rather someone else do them... I am so offended because I never complained besides saying they were cut too short... if she can't handle that then she shouldn't be in business. At the very least she should have respected my time knowing I have very limited time and she should have called me before my appt to tell me this. So I proceeded to say I will go somewhere else... I'm offended and disgraced that this is how they do business... life is hard enough... I don't need to go somewhere and pay for services that are mediocre and get fired from my nail technician!!!! Bad business especially in these times you would think they would try to hold on to their customers and keep their business going... I guess they don't need the money so I will take my business elsewhere where I am appreciated!!! I also just found out she charged me differently than another family member???? Whaaat???? More???? I was very impressed by the professionalism and then cleanliness of the studio. Everything is brand new and you can tell. They have a variety of colors and do gel manicures as well. I would not recommend this place. The price fluctuates based on the customer. I noticed they charge certain people more based on how the person presents. If you come in with your designer bags , drive a nice car etc.. they will charge you more. Maybe that's why they ask what do you do for a living etc... the service it self was very slow, they quickly take you in the back and place your feet in the water and let you sit there for awhile. I assume this tactic is utilized to prevent the customer from leaving. I'm so sick of everyone trying to rip people off nowadays. You can't trust anyone it seems. read more

After having an issue with them delaying my appointment twice, I decided to try again. Full set and pedicure, no issues. Less than a week later one of my nails has a crack in it causing it to lift. So I arrive this morning as soon as they opened to get it fixed. With one other customer in the business I am told to make an appointment and come back after 1. I needed one nail fixed that should not have a crack in it after a week to begin with. If appointment times are not kept and walk ins are not allowed, I'm truly curious how this business works. My bestfriend and i don't usually go here but we tried something new. First, we made a appointment for 11:30 and we didn't get started till 12:50. Second, the lady who did my nails was rushing through it. There were multiple things wrong with my nails that she didn't fix and/or i had to ask her to fix which are in the photos. Then, the lady who did my best friends nails asked her about the length and kept messing up the shaping resulting in her making the nail shorter and shorter to the point where it wasn't even remotely the nail length she wanted anymore. We both did not feel like our nails were secured onto our fingers right after we were put under the dryer. After not even 4 hours of getting them done, i went to pick up my pants and then pressure off pulling them up made my nail pop off my finger and bleed. read more

My review is a non-review! I made an appointment for 11:30. The front desk nicely called me at 11:15 and said they were running behind and could I please come at 12:00. So I did, and sat in the water bath until 12:15 with no signs of anyone coming. I understand and am glad they're busy but maybe their scheduling could be handled better. I had to ultimately leave because truly there was no one coming (all the techs appeared to have just started on customers). Let this review be a warning for anyone looking to get waxed here. The first warning sign I should have heeded to was the unclean waxing room. I ignored it given how clean the rest of the place was. The woman who did my nails came inside to wax my underarms. She started applying the wax without even cleaning my armpits. She pulled the strip off one time, then repeatedly went back to pull remaining wax/hair with the same strip. She kept going until I couldn't take the pain anymore and told her to stop. My skin was pretty inflamed at this point. Seeing that I was in pain, she pulled out a pair of scissors and started trimming rest of the hair. The woman did not speak English so I had to call someone to tell her to stop trimming and just clean my armpit. I have nothing against that woman, she did a great job with my nails but she should not be waxing. I have gotten my underarms waxed since I was a teenager and never had the painful experience that I had today. I left the place with one raw painful armpit. And it still burns as I write this review, 5 hours later. read more

I have to say that I drive by this salon every day on my way home and I was so excited for it to open since it is within walking distance of my house. I finally saw the "We are open!" sign and was so excited. I walked in and was amazed by how beautiful this nail salon is. It is very modern and luxurious looking. Everyone was wearing masks and they have you sanitize your hands before you check in. They also have plexiglass up as another COVID-19 precaution. Everything was very clean and sanitary. I received a very nice deluxe pedicure. I came in at 7:00 and they closed at 7:30. I was thinking my pedicure would be about thirty minutes. I had recently done my own toe nails with gel polish though so it took a while to get that off. My pedicure finished right after 8:00 p.m. I felt so bad making them stay there after hours but they did not seem to mind at all and told me to relax and enjoy myself. Everyone was very nice. They offered me a drink and a snack. In fact, I am going to go back later today to get my nails done. They are a new business and could really use your support, plus they will not disappoint you! :) read more
