Hands down the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich (#1 on the menu) I have ever eaten. I went twice in one week while my husband had 3 meals from this place in the same week. I passed their location on the way from my Dr's office & I doubled bank almost immediately. I'm willing to give any restaurant that advertises phillys exclusively a shot, but I was super excited upon finding that their Google & Yelp reviews fell somewhere between 4 & 5 stars!!! I ordered the regular foot long Philly on the first day & took it to my husband to lunch at work. He LOVED it! So I went back the following day & got 2 foot longs, 1 chicken & 1 beef (ribeye) philly with fries/drink. The total was $27 for both combos and it was worth every penny. Also, there was a Mother/Son team operating the place when I visited, that was so sweet to witness. Will definitely be a regular. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch of a gyro and fries the fries were pretty good the gyro who's mostly vegetables. Canned and bottled drinks only but very affordable at $0.75 a piece. The sandwich combo was only 6 bucks but they didn't have central air. Though it wasn't unpleasant inside. But it also did not offer much relief from the heat outside. There were two air conditioner units going. Not a bad place to stop in for a quick bite but probably not something I would go out of my way for. read more

Was pretty excited to try this place because of all the great reviews. It wasn't anything special. I had the cheese steak combo. The fries and the bread were, unfortunately, the best part of the meal. There were two peppers on my sandwich ( My coworkers seemed to have more than I did, but I am not exaggerating when I say that I only found two small pieces of pepper). Not a lot of flavor. Or cheese. That is kind of a crucial component of a Philly CHEESE steak sandwich. If you want a cheap quick fix, this might do it for you, but not me. I was so disappointed with it, I threw half of mine away. With the amount of places that pop up all over the metroplex claiming to have authentic Philly cheese steaks, next time I will try my luck elsewhere. read more

This is my second review for this restaurant - just wanted to add that when they first opened they did not always have the salad options available, but now they do! The grilled chicken salad is HUGE with a chicken portion size almost twice as large as what you would normally expect. Lettuce very fresh also. Ohhh my goodness! Hit the spot! I ordered (via DoorDash ) the chicken Philly and 2 Cheesesteak Philly's with fries. I also ordered stuffed Jalapeños (even though I hate Jalapeños ). The chicken philly was delicious and full of meat and cheese. The temperature was warm and it was absolutely filling. The stuffed Jalapeños were fantastic! I couldn't stop eating them. I'm giving them 2 stars because my Philly cheese steak tasted burnt. I could tell it had good flavor. However, I could also tell they didn't clean the grill before cooking my sandwich. as a recent UT grad, I can say that this place comes closest to the famous Austin local burger joint Player's. Turned to our favorite philly and mozzarella stick spot! We always order extra mozzarella sticks because we love them so much. Unlike other places the philly has so much flavor but not too much that it's over powering. We live down the street and go here at least once a week or two weeks. They have really good philly cheese steaks. This is my son's favorite place to eat, at least once a week.

Great steak and cheese. The bread has a hearty outer shell but a soft inner core. They do a great job of melting the cheese and mixing the peppers, onions, and mushrooms into the steak. They finely chop the mushrooms up so you aren't taking a big bite of fungi. Fries are better than most but a tad over crispy. All in all great place to grab a steak and cheese. read more

Hope it doesn't change. 4 stars cuz the restaurant can use a major makeover! Needs soda machine, straws, napkins and utensils. Other than that, cheese steak was delicious. Was hesitant at first cuz of how the place looked like when we walked in and Indian guy taking my order so my first thought was an Indian making a cheese steak (no pun intended) but food came out great! The Philly was delicious. Great balance of meat, peppers, onions and cheese. Great value also. The only thing I would like to change would be the French fries. As others have noted, they are overcooked and hard. Almost like they are refried. Just throw some fresh ones in and cook them for less time and we got a perfect meal! read more

Just don't. I read reviews about how good the "stuffed jalapeños" were. I saw him take them out of a box from the freezer. I read about how great the fries were...the fries tasted like shrimp. I'm guessing he used the same oil. Philly was dry and gross...bad aftertaste. It doesn't cost much because it's gross. read more
