Great pizza. Delicious and fast service Customer service got a whole lot better. Will be back.

Decided to give this spot a try without high hopes, as most pizza spots in the area are lackluster-- that said, this place is absolutely fantastic! Service was great, and they have a nice dining room. We got a pepperoni pizza; crust was crunchy and flavorful but not burnt, sauce was light and they use good cheese!! We got the sampler as well, just to give them a full run. Wings were crispy, and spicy. Perfect size. Mozzarella sticks had a great pull Chicken tenders were crunchy, and fresh. Your average tender, but of good quality nevertheless. For dessert, I ordered my wife some tiramisu; she was thoroughly impressed. We think it's house made. I decided on the cannoli. I've never had one, but I certainly will have more in the future! I can undoubtedly say, this is my new go to spot for the 'goods'. read more

My good friend, Melody, and I stopped at Famous Pizza on our road trip from Georgia into North Carolina. The pizza was very good and the cannolis were yummy as well. There's indoor seating and the ambience is definitely 'pizza restaurant' style. Make a lot of memories and safe travels! read more

I have no clue how this place doesn't have higher stars. The food is always amazing and the ladies that work there are so friendly. Best hamburger steak I've ever eaten!!! The seasoning on the hamburger steak is phenomenal and the fresh cut fries are delicious!!! The drive thru is extremely convenient also! Please stop and give this place a try! read more

Our first time trying famous pizza and we will definitely be back. I had the ribeye steak sandwich. It was wonderful and my husband had the hamburger steak and he said it was perfect. Tammy was an awesome waitress and was so very helpful in helping us to choose what we wanted to try. We're bringing some cheesecake home and pretty sure we won't be disappointed with that either. First time and last time. For the price I paid, there was nothing special about any of it. Mid tier at best. I ordered a pizza, wings, and a gyro platter that did not come (not doordash's fault). I understand things cost money but no way this place stays in business in the long run. Find cheaper ingredients, cut down on payroll, or start putting A5 wagyu on the pizzas to justify the cost. Until then, I would rather eat at a chain and get twice the food that tastes better for less. read more

Meatball pan hero is good to go! It's so good it's the only thing I've had there and I've been there a dozen times! Being a Northern transplant it's hard to get good Italian food so this place stands out! Service is good enough and the place is in a strip mall, but they make up for it with their meatballs, sauce and most importantly the bread! read more

The photo I saw on Door Dash made it look like New York style pizza, but when it arrived, i was surprised it looked and tasted more like a cross between Pizza Hut and Papa John's. Kind of thick greasy crust and mediocre cheese. read more

Excellent pizza. Stopped off on our trip home from Alabama. 3 kids (12,9,3) and 2 parents very hungry. Chose because of proximity to interstate and good reviews. Very satisfied. Don't be fooled by the look from outside. Inside is family friendly, bathrooms were very clean and smelled nice, staff was welcoming and friendly. Service was fast. It should be Famous. Girlfriend and i split a pizza with our chosen toppings per half. Wonderful. Girlfriend has a dairy allergy and our knowledgeable server guided the choices for a stress free meal. I've been going to famous pizza since I have moved here from college. It was my favorite afternoon lunch and it was in a super convenient location, about 7 mins from where I live. Never had a problem there until today 7/24/2020. I usually go through their drive thru and usually get greeted with friendly customer service but today I decided to order Famous Pizza through DoorDash. Which I want to make note that this complaint has NOTHING to do with doordash. When my driver arrived I was informed that I would be missing an item that I had paid for because the restaurant forgot to give it to him and contacted him after he had left. I told my driver it's ok, mistakes happen and that I will just go pick up the missing item myself later today. So I called the restaurant to inform them that I will be stoping by the restaurant to get the rest of the meal that I had paid for. After I was told to repeat the same incident 4 times I was handed off to a stick in the ass manager who rudely rushed me to explain the situation and interrupted me half way through without hearing the whole thing, to have the nerve to ask me "Well why are you calling me?Call your driver"....Well Rene or whoever the nasty manger on the phone that I spoke with if you had gave me the time to finish explain the situation. I was calling to let you know that your restaurant failed to give me all my items that I have paid for and that I will be coming to get my item. The least your restaurant owes me is an apology that I paid for a service to get my meal delivered to avoid having to interrupt my day to get it, which I ended up having to do anyways because of negligence on your restaurants part. I did go to get the rest of my meal and when I arrived at the window I was greeted hastily about the "pizza situation" after I had asked not about the pizza but to speak with the manager. Who still did not give me the time of day to explain the situation but instead had one of her employees throw a pizza at me and slam the window in my face. I'm disgusted by the customer service I was treated with this visit. When I finally did get to eat after all this the food was disgusting and the pizza which still should've been fresh was hard as a rock and it taste like they use Prego sauce. Gross. This is really disappointing because it was one of my favorite restaurant in the upstate and the food except for this visit is really good but I will never be returning. Will have to find NY style pizza elsewhere. read more

Tiny little hole in a shopping center and it harbors some pretty epic, brick oven tasting (if for some reason I just imagined how legit it is), pizza. Our group got a small assortments of hawaiian, meat, bbq chicken and we inhaled it. It is a must for some good pizza. read more

Pizza, spaghetti, pasta, grease oh my. The food tastes like food, but is very bad for you. No whole wheat anything. I had a hamburger without a bun. If your going to eat this way- have fast food, instead. 8-21-2011 follow up - invited back - this time i tried the pasta w/ chicken,vegs, butter and garlic sauce, added mushrroms. I couldn't taste any roast garlic at all, butter sauce was more like water. The veggies and chicken were good, but the rest was very bland. I've had more flavor from a frozen dinner. Been craving pizza all day and wanted something better than the typical chain. Called in our order after reviewing the menu online and was disappointed when the person answering the phone said that was not their current menu. I really wanted a "white pizza" with olive oil / garlic sauce, not an alfredo cheese pizza. We also ordered 10 hot wings, but FYI- now they only come in orders of 8 or 16. Pizza and wings are delicious. Our favorite place to order pizza from. Fast service. Can usually pick up order within 10 minutes of calling. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because on multiple occasions they've gotten our order wrong and we didn't realize it until we got home so now we check every time before we leave. It's a little more expensive than "typical pizza chains" but it most certainly is better. Ordered a small and ate the entire thing on the way home haha. That was less than 10 minutes. They can't take a order right over a plain cheeseburger and they put everything on it then when I called up there they said to the other girl in there you have a complaint and she said on what she said a plain cheeseburger then the other lady said oh my god. My family and I ate here tonight. While waiting on our food I noticed a waitress clear a table. She then took a silverware pack from that cleared table, opened the napkin, wiped off the knife with her finger and proceed to re-wrap the silverware and place it to be set out for a new guest. If I had ordered something that required utensils, I would have left! Once our food come, my son was eating a slice of pizza when he noticed a hair on the crust. Being a typical 10 year old he picked it off & flicked it to the floor. Then, I noticed a hair on my plate. When the waitress came with our check she asked how everything was. I told her about the hairs and the utensils. She proceeded to go into the kitchen, with all staff in tow. We could hear them discussing it in the dining room. She comes back to the table and asks me to see the hair. She took my plate to the kitchen, came back after a few minutes & told me I would not be charged for the french fries because they saw the hair. I asked what about his pizza and she said they didn't see the hair. She went to the kitchen to ask another question. I'm fed up by this point and want to leave. I go to the cashier to pay and the original waitress comes out and says not to charge for the fries. The waitress I watched wipe a knife with her finger and wrap it for another customer got an attitude because I would not let her explain why she had done it. Sorry, there is no explanation for that. A knife and fork could easily be washed and not be wiped by her hand. She got an attitude and dashed back into the kitchen. Then a man came out of the kitchen and wanted to smooth the water. He was nice but by this point I'm never going back there. This is my first and only experience. When you mess up service and food, own up to it. It's simple and good customer service. read more

We ended up at Famous Pizza by accident. I thought I had clicked on directions to a different pizza restaurant. It was a very fortunate mistake! Our waitress Sonya was very friendly and happy to explain a few things on the menu that we had questions about. When offering salad with our meals, she listed the salad ingredients to make sure we wanted all of them. The garlic bread was so-so, but the rest of the food was great. My teenage son was very happy with the pepperoni pizza and loved the thin crust. I ordered the Cheese Ravioli which was excellent. The portion size was larger than other places I've been to. The ravioli were nicely filled and the sauce was fantastic. Because they were short a delivery driver that night, Sonya had to make a delivery while we were dining. She made sure to tell us what was going on and the other waitress took care of us while she was gone. We'll definitely be dining here again! read more
